Chapter 143 - Collaboration

The bustling sounds of the streets were faintly heard within the room, and Luo Xiao rubbed his eyes in exhaustion as he leaned against the firm chest in front of him.

He mumbled a little, feeling very lazy. The day before had been extremely exhausting. Not only due to the sheer exhaustion of his mental strength while concocting medicinal liquids, but also because of the tempering of his body.

Jiang Yao also felt very comfortable as he held the younger man in his arms and looked at his silly antics. He chuckled lightly, and reached out one of his hands to caress the soft cheek in front of him.

Luo Xiao's mind slowly sobered up, and his eyes cleared. He sat up within the bed, and the blanket slipped from his chest and to his hips. The chest was bare, as he had been taken directly to bed the previous night after the bath.

As he looked down on his bare skin, the face flushed red in embarrassment, and he shyly peeked at Jiang Yao. He was very bashful when he thought of how he was sleeping naked with Jiang Yao, and his face turned beet red whenever he thought of this.

Jiang Yao could not help but enjoy the sight of Luo Xiao's red ears and downcast eyes.

"What are you thinking about?" Jiang Yao was already aware of the answer, but he enjoyed watching how the face would change, and the shy expression would be impossible to hide.

"Nothing." Luo Xiao was unwilling to explain, and he hurriedly moved his face away from Jiang Yao, so that he could not see his expression.

"What are our plans for today?" Luo Xiao expertly diverted the topic, and stood up from the bed. While he easily felt embarrassed and shy, he had already shown his back to Jiang Yao before, so he was not going to be hypocritical by hiding underneath the blanket.

As he stood up, the naked back view of his body was in full display before Jiang Yao, and the demon prince's eyes deepened. It was as a bottomless abyss, full of desire. He felt his heartbeat increase, and his throat went dry.

He cleared his throat as his eyes were unable to move away from the attractive body in front of him.

It was not before Luo Xiao had completely dressed himself that Jiang Yao felt his breathing return to normal, but the tightness in his body still took some time to pass.

Jiang Yao could not help but release a hopeless sigh when he realized the great effect Luo Xiao had on him.

Unfortunately, Luo Xiao did not notice the changes that happened to Jiang Yao, and when he turned around, he saw that the older male was just like his usual self.

"What are we doing today?" Luo Xiao did not dwell more on the intimate gestures between the two of them, but put his focus on their next plans.

He had left Little Gold within the contract space, as he knew that she was still asleep. As a newly hatched dragon, she needed a lot of rest. Especially since she had to refine and fully comprehend the legacy she had gained before.

Jiang Yao cleared his throat as he also stood up and began changing his clothes while answering the question. "We have no reason to stay here for now. Ridgeflower City is a place where resources are being sold at a low price, and it is not worth it for us to sell anything here.

"We have a few options of what we can do now. You have another month of break from school, so we can continue to travel slowly, and continue to train and cultivate, but we can also return to Cloudsoar City by teleportation arrays."

Jiang Yao thought for a bit before he opened his mouth again, "We should consider working alongside the Amber Trade Association. They hold auctions from time to time, and we have enough treasures to fill a whole auction. However, we do not want the world to know of our identities, so working with the Amber Trading Association would be our best solution."

Luo Xiao was no longer the innocent and naive person who had never stepped out into the world, and he understood that one should not promote their wealth.

"Let us return to Cloudsoar City. I want to see if I can improve my alchemy skills during the rest of this break, and also get rid of some of the unnecessary treasures we have gathered."
