Deep underground at King's Cross St Pancreas's station, a cute young girl could be seen sat down on the floor with her body curled up into a ball. Sat beside her was a gorgeous older lady .

Sadness and tension filled the air as they waited quietly.

With her body still curled up, the young girl slowly raised her head and gazed at the silver haired standing by the platform's edge.

Long silver hair, slightly curled around the edges along with deep bright crimson eyes. Her attention was focused down the tunnel as she stared into it.

But as if having noticing her gaze, the silver haired beauty suddenly turned to her and the two made eye contact.

'...She's pretty...' They both simultaneously thought to themselves.

Worried that her gaze was disturbing her, the young girl suddenly lowered her head.

"...You... Really won't hurt us, will you?" The older lady mumbled.

The silver haired beauty shook her head.

Her question caused a saddened expression to grow on Sangrea's face.

"I'd never, I promised Xavier I'd keep you safe..." She responded.

Despite having said that, neither of them were buying it. The Vampire had told her that Xavier had stayed behind in the Vampire Camp where they were being held captive and was dealing with the Vampires for them.

Even though most of it was a blur since they were unconscious most of the time, they'd seen first hand what Vampires were capable of, there was no way Xavier could survive on his own.

Even their father had his arm cut off and was toyed with.

'..Please god... Please let them both be safe...' The older lady prayed.

The young girl on the other hand, clenched her hands into fists and grit her teeth at the thought of her dear brother getting hurt.

'If they lay even a finger on my brother... I'll never forgive them... Those damn Vampires...' She thought to herself in anger as even more tears streamed down her eyes.

From the young girl's eyes her brother was someone short, weak and fragile how needed to be protected.

'...For now we need to figure out a way to escape to look for him... But how?'

The young lady looked around down the other tunnel's entrance, in the shadows there were a group of Vampires on standby.

Fortunately for her, there weren't any ghouls around and any which they had seen had been dealt by the group which had been on standby.

'They've been watching over her since she left...'

Upon making eye contact with one them, they responded with a glare, sending shivers down the young lady's spine. She quickly turned her head away before hanging her head down.

'What was I thinking...?'

'These guys are not only faster and stronger but there's way too many of them... Getting away will be impossible...'

While looking down she noticed that she was shivering, but it wasn't just her. It was also her mother who had her arms wrapped around her.

Although they were mostly unconscious they could still faintly remember the Vampires strapping them to a slab and draining their blood from them in a cold and dark room.

'Damn it...' The young lady cursed as tears grew in her eyes. 'Dad... Brother...' She called out inwardly.

*SWOOSH!*

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew by her, interrupting her thought process as it did so.

"Mum... Sis...!"

The two's ears twitched at the familiar voice. As they both slowly raised their heads, their eyes widened.

Before them was a young man. He had short black and silver hair with sharp crimson eyes. His jaws were trembling from pure joy as he stared at them, his round eyes quickly grew watery.

"B-Brother...?"

"Xavier...?"

*Thud*

Out of nowhere, Xavier suddenly leapt at the two, wrapping his arms around them and hugging them tightly.

Xavier's mother's and sister's eyes quickly teared up as well as they both returned the hug with their own tight embrace. Tears were streaming down from their faces as they were filled with happiness and releif.

"Brother...! Brother!!"

"Xavier...! You're safe!!"

Both his sister and mother cried as they tightened their embrace.

Xavier who could feel their joy and heartbeat instantly felt a wave of relief rush in as it sunk in.

Their bodies were warm, their heart was beating. It wasn't cold like in the previous timeline. They were alive.

"Thank god... Thank fucking god..." Xavier whimpered with a smile as the tears began flowing out.

It was as if all the tears which he had been holding out hit him all at once... An overwhelming feeling.

A small smile grew on Sangrea's face as she watched the family's reaction. It was clear to her that they really loved and cared for one another deeply.

'...I didn't know he could make an expression like that...'

It truly brought her happiness to see the three of them together. Xavier had finally done it, all his hard work to find and save them had paid off.

'This alone was worth it...'

Without saying anything, Sangrea quietly leapt off the platform before gesturing towards the maid and butler to follow after her.

'I wonder if one day... He'll ever be able to make an expression like that because of me...'

The maid and butler nodded quietly, not wanting to ruin the moment before the two headed towards the other side of the tunnel where the Vampires hiding in the shadows were on standby.

'I didn't even get to introduce myself properly to his family because of how shy I was... Argh this sucks...'

Countless thoughts filled Sangrea's mind as she walked away. The ache in her chest however managed to overwhelm all those thoughts the further away she got from Xavier.

Eventually her eyes began to tear up as she reached the tunnel.

[Shadow Manipulation-]

"Where are you going? Sangrea." Xavier interrupted, as he called out to her.

Sangrea's ears twitched. She remained on the train tracks with her back turned to him.

"I'm leaving."

"What do you mean you're leaving?" Xavier asked.

"..."

"Answer me."

Sangrea clenched her hands into fists.

"I'm sure you've already heard from the head butler... The other families will be out for me. If they're with you, you'll be able to keep them safe even if it's the apocalypse... But if you stay with me, they'll be at an even greater risk..."

"..."

Xavier didn't utter a word, he just quietly stared at Sangrea. Seeing this, having nothing else to say, Sangrea continued her walk.

After two steps however- She suddenly felt a hand land stop upon her shoulder.

She turned back only to find Xavier standing behind her with an angered look.

"Does I look like I give a flying fuck?"

Sangrea's ears twitched.

"You helped me, now I'll return the favour and help you. Whether it's those prideful nobles, Vampire lords or even the fucking royal family line. If they come at us for saving my family, then I'll fucking devour them all."

Bloodlust began to seep out of Xavier from all the frustration.

"Stop acting like a sorry bitch and come enjoy this moment with me, you're my wife, aren't you?"

Sangrea's pupils dilated. Viera's eyes widened and Elaine blushed and covered her mouth in surprise.

"Oh my~" Elained mumbled.

'You're telling me that's Xavier? He's changed...' Viera thought to herself.

Sangrea turned to Xavier showing her eyes filled with tears, her jaw was trembling as she grabbed onto his arm and asked.

"Is it really alright...?"
