After throwing sending the javelin right back at the Young Noble Marquess, the group made use of the opening to get away.

They ran and ran and ran, leaping from platform to platform. Even while in a rush, the butler and maid still managed to maintain their elegant and professional mannerisms up.

Xavier on the other hand didn't look so good, no one could place their hands on him as they'd get instantly zapped by strong electrical currents and there wasn't anyone with a healing ability around to treat him.

Viera and Elaine's abilities had awoken however they still couldn't manifest them, there was no telling what abilities they had.

Because they were high up in the sky, they were able to get a great view over the city and area in hand.

There were many buildings lit engulfed in flames around even with all the rain pouring down on them, upon a closer inspection, they could see squads of people wearing a uniform coloured differently than the Vampires night blue uniform.

These squads wore grey and white uniforms. Their eyes weren't crimson like the Vampires, they were humans, fighting against the Vampires and Ghouls with their abilities.

An all out battle had been going in the city between the Vampires and Humans without them being aware, but as of then, none of them seemed to care.

Their many worry was Xavier.

"Why aren't his burns fading? Aren't Vampires able to regenerate themselves?" Viera asked as she turned to Sangrea with a worried look.

Sangrea turned to the butler gesturing for them to stop. They had travelled far enough and there didn't seem to be anyone on their trail.

The butler did as she request, creating one final barrier platform for them to rest.

"Argh... I'm fine..."

*Thud*

The instant he finished the sentence, Xavier collapsed right then and there, panting heavily as he began to heat up.

The sound of his sister, mother and Sangrea calling out to him slowly faded alongside his vision. All the stress had finally caught up to Xavier's body.

'Fuck... Are you kidding me..? Open... Open your eyes... Damn it...'

Xavier felt cold, his eyelids had forced themselves shut, none of the sounds which were entering his ears were getting through to him.

'System... Use the... Full body Rec...'

Before Xavier could finish the sentence in his head, his consciousness suddenly faded leaving behind darkness to cloud his thoughts.

"Open!!" Xavier shouted as he suddenly sprung upwards, snapping open his eyes as he did so.

For a moment, relief filled his heart once he finally managed to open his eyes. However that relief only lasted a second before being overwhelmed by fear as Xavier found himself sat on top of an unknown bed.

"Huh...?" He let out in a confused tone as he looked around.

He was in an unfamiliar room with countless old pieces of furniture spread around. Beside the bed was a large dark coffin resting on the floor.

Ahead of him eyes was a large painting of a gorgeous crimson-eyed silver-haired girl hanging on the wall before him.

'This room is quite well maintained... That picture also resembles Sangrea, Is it her bedroom or something...?'

Just before Xavier was about to get overwhelmed with worry for having made the mistake of falling asleep, he felt a soft warm sensation wrap itself around his hand.

As he looked down at the blanket, he noticed something resembling a large ball slowly expanding and deflating with every second hidden beneath it.

Upon moving the blankets down, his heart skipped a beat.

Beneath the blankets was a curled up sleeping Sangrea who had her arms wrapped around his own. She wore a black pajama outfit but without the bottoms.

Her curvy butt and dark panties were in full plain view and Xavier's hands were right between her straight, soft thick thighs.

"Xavi~" She mumbled with a smile as she slept cheerfully.

Xavier's face instantly became bright red from blushing as he tried moving his hands away from her thighs.

The instant he managed to slip his hand out-

"Ahn~"

A quiet moan escaped Sangrea's lipped as it rubbed on a certain particular spot.

That moan pushed Xavier over to the edge, something had risen beneath those blankets and it wasn't his knees.

"..."

Xavier who planned on quickly leaving was now having second thoughts. Based on the room and painting, it was clear they'd finally arrived at Sangrea's mansion.

However he had yet to confirm whether or not it was actually safe, or whether or not his family was safe. If this was truly Sangrea's homes then there were probably Vampires in every nook and cranny.

He hadn't yet confirmed whether or not they had positive intentions... On top of that Xavier ended up renewing the checkpoint for [Rewind.] Because he lost consciousness. Such was the last thing he could have possibly wanted.

'Yeah... There are more important things to do now... Get your priorities straight... Even if it's unlikely that something bad happened to them and I'm just overthinking things...' Xavier thought to himself.

Ever since he found his family and confirmed their safety his suppressed urges and desires came crashing back at twice the speed.

But who could blame him? A young growing man with a wife gorgeous enough to pass by one of the most eye-catching models one could possibly witness.

Although he was trying to keep it at the back of his mind, Xavier was slowly growing more and more conscious of Sangrea.

*Step* *Step*

While quietly walking across the carpet towards the door, Xavier noticed that the clothes he had been wearing had been changed. His burns and injuries were all covered in bandages but had mostly healed.

He wore a plain white shirt with white shorts, somehow the size fit him perfectly.

'I'll give my thanks later... For now I need to find out more about this place.' He thought to himself.

Xavier slowly and quietly walked across the carpet over to the door before turning the knob and opening it.
