"It's something that will take us straight to my base."

Her curiosity had been peaked. "Is that even possible?! How does it work?"

Xavier gazed at her with narrowed eyes in response to all her questions. Realising how immature she was acting, she quickly grew embarrassed, lowering her head to hide her blushing face.

"Do we have everything ready?" Xavier asked.

She slowly nodded.

"Are we not going to do anything about her? And are you sure this is going to work? That looks just like a regular crystal."

"Yeah it'll work and I only attack those who attack me or those close to me."

'Besides, I'm tired I just want to go home, lay down and laze around while sipping on blood. I deserve at least that much rest.' Xavier thought to himself.

"You're the complete opposite of the impression I got from reading your bounty info, Devourer."

Xavier grinned before patting Sophie on the head with his other hand. Her head and hair were both soft, he felt like stroking it.

"Crystal, take us back to the mansion."

*Shatter*

the Crystal shattered and, in that moment, a bright blue ring formed around them.

From the inside of the ring, their bodies began to disassemble, before eventually a bright light flashed in the room and they disappeared.

Leaving the platinum white haired girl on her own.

The girl slowly opened her eyes, displaying her crimson red irises before letting out a yawn as she stretched.

"They're really gone..." She muttered before looking around. "I can't sense their presence anymore..."

She proceeded to slowly get up before grabbing a blood bag from the fridge. "Teleport crystal, and devourer... What an odd duo..."

"Are you sure it was okay not to kill them? If you wanted you could have finished it before they even realised what hit them." Asked a feminine voice which had come from one of the ice crystals behind her.

"They didn't try to harm me despite being defenceless, there was no reason to kill them."

"...Very well princess. When will you be returning to the castle?" Asked the voice.

The girl sat back down before leaning against the wall.

"When my sleep is over..." She muttered before dozing off.

"...You said that last time..."

The girl did not reply, for this time she was fast asleep.

Xavier and Sophie's eyes snapped open, they looked around and were both in disbelief.

There they stood at the very top of a table before the butler, and Anastasia, the head maid who were sipping their teas.

The head butler's brow was twitching in disbelief whereas Anastasia had become as pale as a ghost.

*Sip*

The butler took another sip of the tea despite his arm trembling before putting the cup down. Meanwhile Anastasia asked.

"So... Care to explain how you magically ended up here?" Anastasia asked while trying to remain calm.

Xavier looked around, he didn't recognise the room at all. It was well designed and seemed like the type you'd see at a girl's tea party.

'This wasn't where I had in mind...'

*Shatter*

The crystal in Xavier's hand broke down.

"Okay so you're telling me you ended up using a special crystal which magically brought you here...?" Anastasia asked as she organised the supplies in the hiking bag.

The three of them were in Anastasia's room, specifically the kitchen side of it. That's right, her room had its very own kitchen.

The reason she was putting the supplies in her room instead of the main kitchen was pretty obvious, they didn't want to risk any of the other servants poisoning the supplies.

All meals which were to be made for Viera and Elaine were to be handled by her. Xavier also planned on being the poison-tester just in case.

He'd sorted out the supply problem but now there was the servant problem. Until they identified which servants were on their side and which ones weren't, Xavier would barely be able to get any rest whilst constantly worrying about his family being targeted.

"Yep that sounds about right..." Xavier responded with a smile.

Veins bulged out of Anastasia's neck in anger due to Xavier's carefree attitude towards the situation.

"I have so many questions right now... For starters, I've never even heard of a crystal or device which could do that. But more importantly..."

Anastasia glared at Sophie.

,m "Who is this woman?" She asked. "I don't recall you having any other family back here, your cousins and their parents should still be in America if my memory serves me correctly."

Xavier's eye brow twitched.

'She knows that? Just how far of a background check did they do? I'm not even close with that side of the family.'

They didn't really like Xavier so he never bothered to try to get to know them any better back in America.

"Xavier, you're american?" Sophie asked with a surprised look. "That explains the accent..."

"Yeah, I'm a transfer student. Our family moved here recent-"

"You're going off topic." Anastasia interrupted.

She glared at him waiting for him to explain who Sophie was.

"Who is she...?" Xavier repeated placing his hand beneath his chin. "Hm...."

The butler quietly sipped his tea while listening into the conversation, he had a peaceful expression in his face and smiled as he watched them interact.

"My bloodbag?" Said asked with a stoic expression.

*Ptoooo*

The butler suddenly spat out the tea in his mouth in surprise.

"...What?" Anastasia asked with a dumbfounded look on her face.

"Hey, you're not wrong but that's still quite the rude thing to call a maiden, don't you think?"

"Can't you think of anything nicer to call me? I am your information centre, after all..." Sophie asked.

"Hmm..." Xavier placed his hand beneath his chin once more as he went into deep thought. "My bitch?"

"Oi- I'll punch you." Sophie interrupted with cold eyes.

"Then why don't you tell me what I should call you, I don't know."

"Just say I'm your underling or something? I work for you."

"How Is that any different from being my bitch-"

Sophie placed her hand over Xavier's shoulder. "Alright, let's take this outside. We're fighting it out again."

Anastasia's body began to tremble from trying to contain her rage as she watched the two interact. Eventually, she took in a deep breath before slowly exhaling it to calm down.

"Young piece of tra- I mean, master Xavier."

'She was about to call me a piece of trash, wasn't she?'

"Please explain what sort of relationship you have with her before the young lady arrives. This is her mansion-"

*Wham!*

Before Anastasia could finish her sentence, the door slammed open revealing Sangrea smiling happily alongside Viera by the entrance. The two seemed to have been talking about something amusing.

When they looked inside of the room their eyes lit up, the air around them had grown brighter when they saw Xavier, but after looking a little bit to the right. They eyes met with an unfamiliar girl.

Long luminous orange hair with crimson red edges, her slim jaw, pale skin and crimson eyes was definitely a sight to behold.

'Stunning silver hair, crimson red eyes, and a dark night dress. A beauty able to enchant those who stared with just a glimpse... Is that Sangrea Redblood!?' Sophie wondered with cold sweat pouring down her face.

"Big brother~ who is that gorgeous girl?" Asked Viera with cold eyes.

Meanwhile, Sangrea didn't say anything but simply stood there smiling, waiting for a response.

Surprised by the sudden rise in tension, Sophie nervously looked at Xavier for help. Meanwhile Xavier looked at Anastasia who was avoiding eye contact.

'Their reaction... I feel like a bad misunderstanding is about to happen... Quick, say something!' Cried out Sophie inwardly.

Fortunately for her, Xavier who had his hand beneath his chin had already thought of the perfect response for the situation.

"She's my bitch."

"..."

Silence. Not a word was uttered.

'Yeah, I am fucked.' Sophie gave up.

Sangrea stood still smiling, meanwhile Viera hung her head.

"Is that so..." She muttered as she lifted up a steel ball. "Brother... Why don't we go out and play catch, like the good old days? I have a ball right here." Viera asked with a cold smile

[Reconstruction]

Spikes slowly protruded out of the steel ball as it levitated over Viera's hand.

'...Shit. I took the joke too far.' Xavier nervously thought to himself. 'I did it to make the air less awkward between all of us but it looks like it backfired.'

"Pfft-" Sangrea suddenly snorted. "Fufu... Fufufu..."

Out of nowhere her eyes grew teary as she laughed quietly.

"Eh, why are you laughing? Sangrea?" Viera asked with a worried look.

"Ah... Sorry... That's just so like him."

All three of the girls were surprised by Sangera's reaction. They thought she'd react far worse than she actually did.

After catching her breath, Sangrea exhaled. "But Xavi... You still have to explain the situation properly... Before I get jealous..." Sangrea mumbled in a pout, her cheeks red.
