The Medullar Forge had a unique appearance, to say the least.

The entire floor of this place was completely metallic and black, and it wasn't hard to notice that there were several gigantic bolt heads on the floor, as if they were holding these strange metal plates.

There was also a large tower in the place, which had a long arm, that was very reminiscent of an ancient crane. From this arm came a long chain that reached close to the ground, and a hook was at the end. This was obviously used to lift extremely heavy things. Next to this was a mountain of destroyed and rusted tools that had not stood the test of time. In addition, several anvils of different sizes, panels with various tools, and large and small furnaces.

Farther down in the Medullar Forge, a voluminous reddish raw ore transmitted a lot of heat. Immediately, Kaizen recognized this as an untouched, giant Fire Stone.

The blue crystals in all the caves throughout the Blacksmith Village were absent here, but the huge Fire Stone illuminated almost the entire place, keeping it warm.

Unconsciously, Kaizen stepped forward, wanting to explore the place and get a closer look at each of those things as soon as possible. Therkara didn't stop him. In fact, she looked proudly at the man.

However, the real danger of entering the Spider Den was never the Scorpion-Spiders protecting the entrance but the creature that lay dormant at the end of the cave. This was a danger that even Therkara was unaware of until that moment.

As soon as Kaizen took a step forward, the sole of his right foot touched a small fragment of Fire Stone that was already gray and cold.

Kaizen lifted his foot, looked at the stepped fragment of ore, and frowned as he looked at it. He could have sworn he saw Fire Stone moves on its own.

'Am I imagining things?' Kaizen doubted his own eyes.

Then this stone slightly pulsed, this time emitting a faint reddish glow, proving to Kaizen that he was not crazy.

The reaction of this small stone created a chain reaction, and all the Fire Stones scattered across the floor of the chamber pulsed simultaneously moments after the glow of the stone Kaizen stepped on as if they were responding to it.

Initially, Therkara was as confused as Kaizen, who was still a complete novice at the game. And by watching this scene, she scoured her memories for a moment; she then remembered an old story that an old miner had told her during her childhood, a story she hated.

In that interval of time between sighting and assimilating Therkara, the glows of the Fire Stones formed a path on the floor of the Medullion Forge entrance to the large Fire Stones geode, which, as if reacting in response to its virtually dead counterparts, pulsed and glowed throughout the environment.

"Kaizen! Look out!" Therkara Ironstone shouted, alerting her apprentice.

Thanks to the Ironstone lady's warning, Kaizen managed to jump back in time to avoid being pulled in by the attraction force of the Fire Stones geode.

All the little red stones scattered on the chamber floor were attracted by the larger Fire Stone and flew like bullets towards the huge thing. Suddenly all these gray stones stuck to the red geode and somehow began to glow as if the heat from the geode was being transferred to these smaller stones.

Then the geode began to move and rise, causing huge dust to fall from the ceiling.

Kaizen looked at Therkara and stated:

"We have to get out of here!"

"We can't retreat now. The Medullar Forge is the only forge that has the things we need and has apparently endured for these hundred years, if we can't use this place, I won't be able to teach you how to do anything."

"All right, just calm down. We can work something out, but first, you need to tell me what this thing is." He pointed to the Fire Stones geode, which had already come completely out of the ground, showing giant paws, hairy and black, but thin like insect paws.

While they were talking, the place's walls began to shake at an even higher frequency than before. The crane chain began to sway from side to side, and some weapons in the walls began to fall.

Even though she knew nothing could kill her, Therkara was even more breathless than Kaizen. Still, she was calmed enough by Kaizen's words to be able to answer something.

"H-there was a miner who many years ago said that he found a gigantic monster in the deepest parts of the cave. He described this monster as a large creature that drew him close because it looked like a huge ore. When I was a child I thought the stories of this miner were very cool, but when I grew up I realized that they were just exaggerated stories. Now, I don't know what to believe anymore."

"Humph! It seems that this guy wasn't as much of a liar as you thought." Kaizen said and pointed with his chin at the Fire Stones geode.

At that moment, when Therkara looked to the other end of the chamber, a terrifying creature came across.

This creature was three meters tall, had eight large, long legs, a small head compared to the rest of its body, and eight eyes as red as the Fire Stones' geode in its abdomen. Except for this geode, all the other members of the spider's body were black, hairy, and made of flesh as if that was a normal spider. However, this was definitely the biggest spider Kaizen and Therkara Ironstone had ever seen in their entire lives.

Before the two of them, the chelicera of the colossal spider opened, and a loud roar broke out.

When this warning appeared to Kaizen, the bad part of his personality surfaced, and he inevitably smiled with excitement in front of such a powerful enemy. Immediately, he used the <Analyzing Eye> to see if the monster was as strong as it seemed.
