Chapter 305 Ancestral Sea Dragon (Part 3)

By deactivating the <Telekinesis> ability, Kaizen knew that the Ancestral Sea Dragon would soon turn its attention to him, so he used that brief time to approach Dhetha and throw her an advanced MP potion before that happened.

Dhetha took the potion and didn't even have to ask what it was, the light blue liquid in the vial making it obvious to any mage.

Kaizen drank a potion of MP and also a potion of HP to restore the life he lost when the creature's tail hit him. He then concentrated to remember the exact position where he had left his swords inside the Ancestral Sea Dragon's head, and when he finally remembered, he used <Telekinesis> to make them vibrate inside. This would increase their cutting and piercing power and cause more damage to the dragon, but what Kaizen really wanted now was to retrieve those swords so that he wouldn't end up losing any more money. However, when he tried to pull them back in and out of the mythical creature's skull, he couldn't; they were stuck between the mythical creature's bone and eye cavity.

There was only one sword left in his inventory, the Eye of Storm. And Kaizen immediately equipped it.

Not wanting to give the dragon a chance to sneak a blow at him or use another plasma blast, he advanced on the dragon as it chewed through the military mages. Kaizen used <Telekinesis> to literally hurl himself at the Ancestral Sea Dragon.

Dhetha looked at the flying psyker in awe, almost unable to believe what she was seeing. Humans could fly like that, without an enchanted broom?

Kaizen approached the Ancestral Sea Dragon and landed in front of it, drawing its attention to the battle. It would be useless to defeat a dragon unless it was in an exciting and fierce battle. Kaizen saw a small hole in the side of the monster's neck when he was in the air. That was where he was going to attack.

Using <Sword Art> and <Deep Cut> to increase his skill and damage with the Storm Eye Sword, Kaizen aimed at the dragon's scaled hole as he leaped toward its neck, delivering a quick and accurate blow.

The sword sliced through the dragon's flesh like a hot knife through butter. Blood gushed from the wound like a red fountain, and the mythical creature, previously distracted by the mages' desperation, refocused on its most critical enemy.

The Ancestral Sea Dragon let out an agonizing roar as it felt the stabbing pain in its neck and tried to jerk its huge head to free the man from its throat, but it was in vain: Kaizen was gripping his sword tightly wedged in the creature's body and would not let go easily.

Taking advantage of the situation, Kaizen used <Death Touch> in his free hand to strike the dragon. This ability allowed him to apply a massive amount of damage that he had accumulated from killing various creatures, including all the damage he had accumulated from killing dozens of nomadic thieves in the Forest of the Lost.

Kaizen's blow was so powerful that it twisted the Ancestral Sea Dragon's thick scales like a vortex, or rather, like a drill. Kaizen felt a cold current run through his arm as he felt it sink into the creature.

The Ancestral Sea Dragon felt a weakness seep into its body as it lost some of its life energy to Kaizen at the same time that this tearing pain loathed him. He tried to fight back, but it was useless: Kaizen was stronger than he seemed.

The player looked into the dragon's red eyes and saw a different gleam in them, a gleam of despair.

Kaizen smiled coldly and mentally told the dragon:

Ancestral Sea Dragon, you petulant bastard, you were a good opponent, but now you must die!

At the same time, he used <Telekinesis> to pull the Næġling Falske and the Sword of Night that were still in the dragon's eyes down its throat, completely ripping its mouth and flesh from its skull. Kaizen felt a resistance, but managed to overcome it and finally regained his swords as they snapped the dragon's jaw in two. Meanwhile, he heard repeated messages.

[Supercritical damage!]

[Supercritical Damage!]

[Supercritical Damage!]

Kaizen's MP was almost down to zero again at this point. He had less than ten points because he was using a very powerful combo of skills that required a lot of mana. Surprisingly, the dragon was not dead yet. Something more was needed to kill this colossal thing. So Kaizen looked down and saw that there was still some debris from some houses, and most importantly, a statue of a mage with one arm raised in triumph.

The tip of the mage's index finger was sharp as a spear, so Kaizen came up with a plan. Releasing his arms from the sword embedded in the flesh of the ancestral sea dragon, he leaped to the ground, using his last mana points to carry the creature with him. During this time in the air, Kaizen used <Telekinesis> to pull the creature and make it fall right over the statue's fingertip. He knew that this would pierce the dragon's head and kill it once and for all.

The Ancestral Sea Dragon felt an invisible force pulling him down. He tried to shake it off by flapping his wings and tail, but it was useless; he was already too weak.

However, the Psyker was able to successfully execute his plan. After a swift fall, he landed on the ground without a scratch, and the mythical creature fell a moment later, not only pierced by the mage statue's finger, but in one piece. Even with its jaw shattered, its skull completely ripped open, its eyeballs destroyed, and its neck pierced, the dragon still let out one last roar.

*ROAAAAARRRRR!!!*

This roar echoed throughout the City of Tears, making everyone's eyes widen. The tremor from the creature's impact shook the water even from the surface of the lake, creating waves that crashed against the shore of the city.

Yes, Kaizen had done it, he had finally killed the Mythic Rank creature, and this was confirmed by a message that appeared in front of him.

[You have killed the Ancestral Sea Dragon, you have gained +120,000 XP].
