If fighting Surtr was hard enough, fighting him and Maelstrom at the same time would be practically impossible.
Kaizen watched Surtr rise again, now accompanied by an equally menacing ally.
Maelstrom was the strongest demon, a force of nature, a being of pure destruction whose evil presence made the atmosphere vibrate with chaotic energy.
Kaizen clenched his fists, feeling the flow of energy around him.
"Everyone, be ready!" He shouted to his friends.
Blood Lily prepared another arrow, ethereal light enveloping the tip as she tensed it in her bow.
Alina, with a look of determination, began conjuring new magical chains, her hands trembling with the effort. .net
Andrew and Jayaa, though wounded, were ready to face the challenge ahead. And Xisrith spun her red katana, just as determined.
"We have no time to lose," said Og'tharoz, his voice a low growl. He advanced towards Maelstrom, his claws glowing with a dark energy.
Maelstrom only smiled, a smile that promised nothing but destruction. With a wave of his hand, he summoned a storm of fire and cutting winds that headed straight for Og'tharoz.
Og'tharoz jumped backwards, dodging the fire, but the force of the wind hit him, sending him reeling. He roared in defiance and threw a wave of darkness towards Maelstrom, trying to drown out the storm.
Meanwhile, Surtr turned his attention to Kaizen, his flames crackling with renewed fury. "You don't understand, Psyker! Your defeat is inevitable! You can't beat me!"
Kaizen felt determination rising within him. He knew that this battle wasn't just about winning or losing; it was about protecting those he loved, about resisting the darkness that threatened to consume everything.
"We'll do whatever it takes to stop you, Surtr," he replied, his voice laden with firmness.
Surtr advanced with a roar, his flames increasing in intensity. Kaizen put up a psychic barrier to protect himself, but Surtr's flames were relentless, forcing him to retreat.
Alina, with sweat dripping down her face, had to release the chains and fell to her knees, exhausted. "We need a strategy. We can't go on like this forever."
Kaizen agreed, his mind working quickly. "We need to separate them. Together, they're too strong. Og'tharoz, can you distract Maelstrom while we focus on Surtr?"
Og'tharoz was reluctant, because he wanted to kill Og'tharoz on his own, but he growled in affirmation. "Leave it to me."
With a plan in mind, the group reorganized. Og'tharoz advanced towards Maelstrom, grabbing him and throwing him so far that he broke through the firm walls of the place.
Maelstrom, with a cruel smile, accepted the challenge and didn't resist.
Kaizen, Alina, Andrew, Xisrith, Jayaa and Bloody Lily focused all their attention on Surtr.
Kaizen reached forward and intensified his psychic force field, keeping Surtr contained. Alina conjured more chains, trapping the primordial god.
Andrew and Xisrith attacked with everything they had, while Blood Lily prepared her final arrow, imbued with all the MP she still had.
"Now!" shouted Kaizen. Blood Lily released the arrow, which flew with incredible speed, embedding itself in Surtr's heart. The primordial god let out a cry of agony, his flames faltering and finally going out.
Surtr fell to his knees, his eyes losing their shine. "You... did it..." He muttered before falling to his knees again. "Destroy one of my ten hearts." He flashed a sadistic smile.
"One? Are you sure?" Bloody Lily asked.
Suddenly, the arrow stuck in Surtr's first heart exploded into ten large thorns and formed a large hole in his chest, which immediately made him spit blood.
Surtr quickly put his hand to his chest and pulled out the arrow and the thorns. A large amount of blood fell to the ground.
"What's... that?!" He looked at the arrow, which had now become a sphere.
"An arrow that Kaizen modified for me with my blood, so that I could do this. So, as well as having a lot of firepower, I can still deal area damage." Blood Lily boasted.
