“I will immediately send someone to your orphanage. And If the facts differ from your excuses, you will be held responsible for them.”

“Then do it.”

“Ah, I, I, that is, I mean… I’m sorry. Lord!”

Isabelle grew scared and sat there. She stood up and knelt down.

“What are you sorry for?”

“It was absolutely not intentional. Somehow, by mistake…”

“A mistake?”

Cesare laughed menacingly.

“A mistake isn’t something you say when you cheat on someone for a year, isn’t it?That’s it. I’m sorry but this is a crime.”

“Sorry, I’m sorry. I was blinded by self-interest and dared to deceive the Lord. Forgive me just once!”

“Somebody! Get them out of here!”

Cesare raised his voice. Two soldiers waiting outside the door came in and waited for orders.

“Redemption.”

The soldiers took Isabelle’s arms one by one. Isabelle struggled as if it was her last breath.

“Aaaah!Let me go! Do you know who I am?!”

“No worries. She is a criminal.”

Cesare was adamant. I don’t think her efforts will work for the soldiers or Cesare.

Isabelle looked at me this time.

“You-! Who are you! You were the one who told lord this”

I was startled and hid between the curtains.

“Leave me! I have to go see her face!”

“You, who are you-!”

“Ouch!”

Isabelle, who was struggling, hit the soldier who was holding her on the chin. Isabelle ran to me with bloodshot eyes. Surprised, I covered myself with a screen. Buuk, the screen made a dull sound as it was horribly torn. I wrapped my arms around my head and quickly put my head on the desk.

It felt like the blood all over my body was getting cold. I thought she was going to rip my hair off right away, but I couldn’t feel anything over the torn screen. I spread my fingers apart and looked out through the gap. A huge shadow fell in front of me. I slowly raised my head. Cesare, who was sitting in the distance, suddenly approached me. I didn’t know when he came over. He took off his coat and wrapped them around me. The soldiers were holding Isabelle’s head on the ground, so fortunately I was able to hide myself from her.

“”Add the obstruction to execution of duties to her crime.”

“Yes!”

“sorry! I-I was wrong. Forgive me just once…! Aaaah-!” The soldier who was hit in the chin held Isabelle tightly.
