I was caught off guard when he said this.

After all, the way that the Merman King said this was different from what I had been expecting.

The way that he said this wasn't as if he was just expecting to see me here after receiving the message. It was almost as if there was something else that had told him that I would be here. When I came back to my senses, I had an idea of what that was.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

It was most likely similar to what had happened in the past...

It was most likely Solista's influence that had caused this.

But I didn't know the god that was behind the Merman Empire, so I couldn't say that I knew how they would act. I was even less confident in predicting just what they wanted from us. So the only thing that I could do was go along with the Merman King and see.

With a nod, I said, "Well, there's still the small problem of going underwater."

The Merman King gave a nod to show that he understood before pulling out a conch shell. This conch shell was completely different from the one that was used to summon the mermaid guards from earlier. This conch shell seemed much bigger and seemed to have a larger concentration of mana in it.

It seemed like some kind of powerful magic item.

The most surprising thing was that this was an item that I had never seen before in the game. Just what was this thing?

The Merman King didn't give an explanation as he suddenly blew into the conch.

When he did, there was a bubble of air that appeared out of the end of the conch.

This bubble of air seemed to grow and grow until it was a giant bubble of air.

Only when it was twice as tall as me did it finally leave the end of the conch shell and float out towards me.

I raised a brow as I looked at this bubble of air, but the Merman King just said, "Don't be afraid and just let it surround you. It won't pop if you touch it, it'll just envelope you and keep the water away while giving you air to breathe."

Though I was also sure that there would be a lot to explain when we went back.

Once we were all in the water, the Merman King led the group back to the capital of the Merman Empire.

This capital was in the center of a large whale.

This whale was a special creature that was given to the mermaid race by Aquaron, it was supposed to protect and shield them from any danger.

However, I wasn't surprised at all to see this giant whale.

That was because I had already seen the CG of the giant whale in the game, so I already knew about this.

Or that is what I would have liked to say, but seeing it in real life certainly was shocking. It was hard to keep calm when I saw this whale and it was even harder when the whale opened its mouth to swallow us.

But once the whale swallowed us, we were in the capital of the Merman Empire.

I wasn't surprised by what I saw once again because I knew what to expect.

In the game, this was a place that I had seen many times before after all.

The Merman King looked surprised when he saw how calm I was, but he didn't address it as he

said, "Follow me, Lord Aquaron is waiting."

While he said this, I could see the Merman Queen leading Ariel away.

But I didn't mind since I knew that they were just going to have some private time as mother

and daughter.

With a nod, I followed behind the Merman King's group.
