Chapter 93 - Massacre

Jake went on killing people. After some time, he heard the system’s notification.

[Ding! You have filled the quota.]

[Inhabitants killed (1000/1000)]

However, he didn’t stop there. The people cried and ran for their lives, but it was all futile. Jake’s purpose was to destroy this whole town and kill every single resident.

An hour passed.

Crimson, fresh blood drenched his robe and body. It was dripping from the tip of his collars and his hair. Jake was standing at the center of the town, now in his true form.

The souls of the dead were bound under his feet, crying in agony. They wanted to pull him down with them to the underworld, but a strange force prevented them from doing so.

They were like beings of white smoke. Faces distorted, bodies connected to each other. Whenever they opened their mouths, they made languid, hoarse sounds.

”Aaaa…”

”Wooo…”

Their looks of hatred or the chilling gazes would deeply disturb anyone. Especially in such shape and form. However, Jake was calm.

[Inhabitants killed (1639/1000)]

[Ding! You have committed a greedy sin. You gain 9024 Evil Points!]

He still wasn’t satisfied with this. Jake flew high in the sky and looked at the east. He could see another town. It was probably an hour away from here if he flew at his maximum speed.

The system said one thousand souls, but that was just the minimum requirement to advance. Jake wanted more, of course. At least double or triple of 1000.

‘But first, how many points do I have?’

[Evil Points: 230,195]

‘The 4th Circle is a defining stage. From here on, I’ll be an Earl and a high-ranked demon. It would be best if I had a bloodline before advancing,’ He thought and opened the shop.

Scrolling through the list, Jake saw various choices available to him.

[Pit Fiend Ancestry]

[Dark Elf Bloodline]

[Elemental of Thunder]

[Green Dragon Lineage]

Jake kept scrolling. They were priced between 25,000 to 100,000. None of these appealed to him. He had a hunch that getting a bloodline of a different race would be bad in the long term.

He asked the system about it and got an affirmative reply. It appeared bloodlines had a compatibility factor. According to the system, it would be best if he got a demon/devil bloodline of evil origin. Otherwise, it might harm and disturb his existing abilities.

Jake checked the bloodlines until now. Only the Red Demon Bloodline looked somewhat acceptable. Even then, it was priced at 155,000 Evil Points for a Rare grade bloodline.

‘I’ll first amass more points and look again,’ Jake sighed internally.

If he had chosen which to buy from the start, it wouldn’t be so troublesome now. Then again, the system shop shuffled every time he closed the panel. Something good he saw previously might not even be there after a while.

He would have to search for hours. It was also a matter of luck. Thankfully, he could still see some powerful demon bloodlines. Only their costs were… ridiculously high.

”What is your name?” Jake called the gorgon after dismissing the system.

”I am called Ruxa, my master. I do not have a surname.”

”Follow me,” He said and flew toward the next town. The crying souls accompanied him wherever he went.

Luton was smaller than Regis but it still had a sizable population of around 1400 residents.

It started raining when Jake arrived there. The sounds made by the dead souls reached the ears of the town dwellers. Just like before, Jake flew above and landed on the streets.

One woman shrieked, and everyone followed.

”Aaaaa!”

”D-Devil!”

”Run!”

Unlike previously, people shouted and ran away in terror. He couldn’t use the same tactic to attract them. But he still had an easy way. Jake pulled a nearby man and used [Malefic Enchantment] on him.

”Go bring them together,” he ordered and the short man ran.

”To the church, all of you! The demon can’t touch us near the church!”

Jake amplified the man’s voice and let things play out. Facing danger, these humans immediately began following that short man. They didn’t question him at all.

”Now then.”

Before he began the chaotic farming, Jake first increased his Will and Intelligence with 20,000 Evil Points. He looked behind. The gorgon was still not here. She will come soon.

[Flight]

His legs left the ground. The wind anchoring Jake in the air couldn’t flap his robe which was stuck to his body. He appeared above the church and saw a large crowd. They were like a horde of lambs, ignorant and foolish.

The dead souls from Regis flew through these people’s bodies. Nothing would happen but they were needlessly terrified.

[Degeneration Halo]

He landed on the ground and spread his arms. His face painted with blood, Jake spoke.

”Steal the God’s statue from the church. Steal everything, rob anyone you see. God fuck inside, on that chapel. Fuck anyone you wish.” Jake pointed at the white building and then at the surrounding houses.

”Let out your darkest desires, commit your greatest sin!”

Boom!

Thunder banged the skies, illuminating the crazed faces of the people for a while. They looked at each other as the winds and rain intensified. Then they laughed and jumped on each other.

They ripped each other’s clothes, snatched anything they saw. They could do anything! Societal, religious, legal or cultural rules didn’t matter. Order was broken and Chaos reigned.

Jake flew up and saw fights as well as orgies happening. The rain washed away the blood on his body. As he went to a different part of the town, the souls followed him again.

Near the mayor’s house, at the marketplace, around the residential zones, in the alleyways… He didn’t leave any place untouched by his halo. Degenerate acts spread like a plague all over the town.

This time, Jake used the Willpower Potion before his Will was depleted. While all the town was in chaos, Jake waited, looking at his Evil Points steadily increasing.

Ruxa arrived at this moment and she saw the same thing happening. Even as a gorgon, a creature of evil alignment, she was shocked to the bones.

Jake sat naked on a chair, in the middle of all this, surrounded by the souls. He was irritated by his clothes, so he’d thrown them away.

He glanced at the gorgon who was near him. She stood in silence after she reached his location.

Jake spread his legs and opened the system shop, searching for a bloodline again. However, it would be boring with no entertainment. Without glancing at the female gorgon, he casually said,

”Put your mouth to some use and suck my cock.”

Ruxa gulped.
