"Brother, what's wrong with your difficult face?
"Hmm? Kyle. No, just think about it."
Kyle, my brother, talked to me about the road.
He's the boy who finished his baptism this year.
"Well, it's like they can't sell the windowsills I made."
"Oh, that transparent, clean one? Your mother said you were in the way of piling up in the warehouse."
Yes, it is.
I used to go to the city with windows, a new product that flickered.
I made it because I thought it would definitely sell, but it didn't sell at all.
All the buildings I saw in the city were brick built and no windows existed.
It's built to feel too closed and jail-like.
So I figured more open windowpaned houses as a new building would make more people happy.
But it didn't actually sell at all.
The reason is simple.
I guess because the residents are not dissatisfied with the status quo.
It means no one wants to get their hands on anything I've never seen before, like how much I say, "This is good stuff."
I was born in this world and I am in pain.
That doesn't mean you can sell good stuff.
It was the fact that people wanted everything that could be sold as a commodity, not necessarily something convenient to sell.
Speaking of which, I feel like I've heard stories that even in previous lives, countries and regions with low economic power only sold something simpler and less fragile than high-performance products, and that Japanese products were some of the struggles.
Is there anyone in the village who hangs money on what is not even needed in the area around here where bartering takes place?
"I don't know if it's going to sell anything"
"Something that's going to sell. If I were you, I'd want that one."
"Huh? Kyle, is it something you want too?
"Yeah. I'm always looking at the beautiful furniture in your brother's new home and all that stuff."
Furniture...
Speaking of which, there was nothing when I magically recreated the inn. Did you prepare it with the entrance door or something?
I had the table made with a proper view of the chair and shelves.
I like the smell of wood because I made the bed something new.
"No, you don't really make and sell furniture to woodcutters. Why not?"
"Isn't it because it's heavy when you carry it?
"... I see. Could be."
Indeed, I feel like Mr. Maddock said that trees cut with wood dust are most often sold as firewood.
There are several reasons.
Because there is a spell of [ignition] in the magic of life, because there is less wood architecture by being wary of fires, so there is less demand for large timbers.
Maybe all you need is furniture ingredients and firewood.
However, there is not so much demand for furniture in the village to take care of the old ones.
By contrast, the city is a long way from home.
It takes three days to walk.
A pedestrian making money there might be able to buy and carry a servant beast who can pull a luggage.
But I can't buy a servant beast because I don't have that much storage in the wood dust.
As a result, all I can carry is as much firewood on my back.
Maybe that's the situation.
"Maybe it's an interesting idea. Shall I ask if the furniture will sell once?"
"Ugh. I hope it sells, brother."
"If it sells, it's Kyle's style. Even if it's good, why don't we buy it from the traffickers and eat it?"
"I did, I promised."
Yeah, that might be a good idea.
And to be honest, I wanted something else to be a product besides what I magically make.
My magic might be more than people's, but it doesn't mean I'm infinite.
Besides, it's a snob that only what I make sells.
Speaking of extremes, you'll cause an economic meltdown just because I'm gone.
It has spread to the point where there is some excess land, and it may be time to create an environment where people around you as well as yourself can make money.
Why don't we make one at the company?
From what I've seen, there's a trend of pedestrians buying out what they make like an internal job in each household, but it doesn't seem like there's a system where many people come together to make a common product.
If the furniture sells to some extent, it might be interesting to work hard and even build a building like a factory to hire people to make products.
My conversation with my brother brought to my mind a lot of things I wanted to try.
