There are a few places that are called masterpieces of the Underworld by the Underworld residents, examples being the Underworld Elevators which are called masterpieces due to their immense height and unknown connection to the three areas of the Underworld- The Meal Room, City of Sin and The Amphitheater.
Another place that's called a masterpiece is The Meal Room, which is called a masterpiece due to its ability to contain the large population of the Underworld. The reason might seem like a non-special reason for it to be called a masterpiece, but according to one of the recorded books he read, its ability to take all the residents of the Underworld was enough reason for it to be called a masterpiece since none knew how the ability worked.
There were other masterpieces of the Underworld like the Sky of the Underworld, but if a knowledgeable Underworld resident was asked what masterpiece was the most popular, most, if not all, would say the Underworld Emporium as their response.
The Underworld Emporium is the Underworld's largest destination for shopping, entertainment, and leisure, located next to the tallest structure in the Underworld Emporium, an Underworld Elevator.
It had over 600 retail stores, two major department stores, and hundreds of food and beverage outlets. In terms of entertainment, it had a few places that served normal entertainment, not sadistic entertainment that was usually gotten from the suffering of an individual or individuals.
For example, it has the Underworld Aquarium which had marine organisms of different species. It also had the Underworld Zoo, the Underworld Ice Rink, places for the entertainment of children, a massive indoor cinema complex, casinos, and so on.
Also, in terms of unique internal beauty. The Underworld Emporium has an indoor fountain, sculptures of various beasts, concepts, and humans, and it also had a large museum that showcased various sorts of objects. Whether it be paintings, artifacts, antiques, and even the corpses and bones of unique beasts.
The Underworld Emporium has so many places and things to keep an Underworld resident busy to the point that most forget their sense of time, seemingly enjoying the enjoyment and temporarily forgetting the despair-stricken life they were all living, and what the Underworld truly was.
"All in all, the Underworld Emporium is a real-life fantasy for the Underworld residents. So what do you want or where would you like to go, Sir-?"
A beautiful female dressed in corporate wear, basically a sky blue jacket with a white shirt beneath, on her legs was a sky blue trouser, complimenting the sky blue jacket.
The corporately dressed female had a smile on her face with her head tilting to the side slightly, a curious light could be seen in her eyes as she waited for the customer in front of her to give her a reply.
The customer, Corey, had an expression of intrigue on his face as he gazed at his surroundings, his eyes taking in all the luxury and beauty of the Underworld Emporium.
After a few seconds passed, Corey finally shifted his attention to the female attendant of the Underworld Emporium.
Although she had given him a somewhat brief description of the Underworld Emporium, she had excluded a very important but easily ignored aspect of the Underworld Emporium.
Although all the places and activities of the Underworld Emporium mentioned by the female attendant were good, luxurious, and wanted by all, they all required one thing…
Value Points
Lots of Value Points
The Underworld Emporium was a place that sucked a person's value points by an unimaginable degree if one was not careful. It had so many places that would make an individual want to spend the little money they had no matter what.
It was a place to subtly make the residents of the Underworld always spend their money. Also, although there was the E-Underworld where one could buy 'anything', the prices of the products were so high that buying in the Underworld Emporium was much better.
The difference in the prices of some objects on the E-Underworld was always fifty percent higher than the prices of the same objects in the Underworld Emporium!
The worst part of the E-Underworld was that the fifty percent increase was the lowest price difference. Sometimes, some objects were a hundred percent more expensive in the E-Underworld compared to the Underworld Emporium!
Sometimes the difference could even be higher than a hundred percent. Which was definitely robbery in plain daylight.
Although there were individuals that owned their shops, the problem with that was that the price was not fixed and an individual could be cheated if ignorant, and the shop owners of the Underworld where morals were a thing of fantasy, would always try to cheat the customers, always wanting to make profits.
'Though all of them are the same. All of them want to make profits'
'By the way… Aren't I also the same?'
Corey thought with a silent chuckle then he finally replied to the surprisingly patient female attendant.
"Smile Reaper. My name is Smile Reaper."
After finally getting a response from the quiet customer in front of her, the female attendant had a bright smile.
"Alright, Mr. Smile Reaper. May I inquire about your purpose in coming to the Underworld Emporium? I can be of help by guiding you and giving you information."
"I want to buy elemental stones."I think you should take a look at
"Elemental stones?"
The female attendant had raised brows upon hearing Corey's reply. Her eyes subtly scrutinized Corey, though Corey's observant gaze caught her gaze and his brows furrowed slightly.
"Is there a problem?"
Corey asked with his head tilted slightly and his brows raised. The female attendant realizing that her scrutinizing gaze was noticed by the customer, coughed softly.
"There's no problem Sir, but you should know that an elemental stone is somewhat expensive."
The female attendant tried to carefully warn Corey about the price of an elemental stone, not expecting Corey to have the money to buy an elemental stone.
'Although he's dressed properly, he's still a tier one and 99.9% of the tier one's don't have the money to buy an elemental stone.'
The female attendant thought while still retaining a professional demeanor as she observed Corey's change in expression.
Though the only change in Corey's expression was the slight raise of his brows.
"You're not the one buying the elemental stones. Just take me to where I can buy elemental stones or I'll find somebody else to take me there."
Hearing Corey's words which contained a tinge of amusement, the female attendant gazed at Corey's face for a few seconds then she released a sigh.
"Follow me."
The female attendant said as she turned back. Corey gazed at her back for a few seconds before following her, eventually walking side by side with her.
Seeing Corey beside her, the female attendant glanced at him for a second then she spoke:
"We have to go to the upper floor to buy the elemental stones you require, and it might take some time before we reach the place so I'll introduce a few places to you as we go to not make the journey boring."
The female attendant spoke and Corey nodded, appreciating how efficient the female attendant was.
The female attendant introduced the various stores to Corey, telling him what the stores sold and what type of businesses they partook in. Whether it was selling weapons, equipment, pieces of jewelry, items related to technology, clothes, raw valuable materials, etc.
The female attendant introduced so many stores to Corey as they walked to the upper floor where the elemental stones are sold. Although the pace of the female attendant reduced as she briefly introduced the stores, Corey was not annoyed or angry at this at all since the information she was giving was useful.
Though, as Corey followed the female attendant, he had furrowed brows at various times. His eyes would briefly glance at certain people with a frown on his face.
Currently, Corey had a frown on his face despite the female attendant introducing a shop to him. At first, the female attendant decided to ignore Corey's previous frowns, Corey's consequent frowns, and his current frown which was longer than his previous ones, made her stop her introduction.
"Is there a problem Sir Smile Reaper?"
The female attendant asked and Corey looked at her, his frown easing by a minute amount.
"I'm sensing people that are stronger than tier 3's. How is that possible?"
Corey asked as he had been wondering why he had been sensing people that subconsciously exuded an aura that surpassed tier 3. There were a few times that some people passed by him and Corey felt his skin tingle as he felt a different sort of energy radiating out of the passers-by.
And that energy was Mystic Energy!
And mystic energy was possessed by Tier 4's and above!
And Tier 4's and above were meant to be in the inner area and central area, not the outer area!
"Oh. I forgot to tell you, the Underworld Emporium in the Outer Area is connected to the Underworld Emporium in the inner area and central area. Every resident that enters either the Underworld Emporium from the outer area, inner area, or central area, would appear in the same building. Every Underworld Emporium is connected."
"Also, if you're a resident of the Inner Area and you exit the Underworld Emporium, you'll be sent to the inner area. If you're a resident of the central area and you exit the Underworld Emporium, you'll be sent to the central area."
