*tap* Zhang Yuan stepped out of the forest and Ming Yuelin who was in his arms let out a deep sigh "Master..."
Zhang Yuan gently placed her down on the ground and Ming Yuelin showed a wide smile "Hehe, I know I could rely on Master." she said with a hint of playfulness in her voice.
Zhang Yuan shook his head helplessly and Ming Yuelin turned her head to look at the large tomb in front of them.
"So master, I need to enter this right?"
"Yeah..."
She hugged his arm and smiled "Then let's go in Master, hehe..."
With a nod, both of them walked towards the tomb and the large opened itself as they walked closer to it. *creek*
Stepping in, Ming Yuelin looked around at the dark alley with an open door to the other end.
*thud* The large stone door behind them closed itself and they quickly strolled towards the open door in front of them.
As they walked down the dimly lit alleyway, they finally emerged into a spacious area with an open ceiling, allowing the sunlight to filter in and illuminate the surroundings.
Ming Yuelin raised her head looking at the enormous door "This is the final door?"
Zhang Yuan smiled faintly "Yeah, you can enter after killing that."
"Huh?" Glancing at the gigantic purple bird sleeping in front of the door, Ming Yuelin frowned "It's a... Purple Feathered Heron?"
"It's a spirit beast at Saint Profound stage... Just one stage above you. I am sure you can beat it."
Hearing Zhang Yuan's words, Ming Yuelin nodded her head confidentially "Yes, Master.."
*swish* She took the silver bow from her space ring and pulled the string to create a perfect arc of metallic beauty, forming a silver bow in between her fingers.
Her gaze narrowed as she aimed at the bird's head "I will one shoot it before it wakes up."
*flick* However, the Heron suddenly opened its eyes, and Ming Yuelin was taken aback. Eh?
*sleech* The heron waved its wing an enormous purple slash materialized out of thin air hurling at her.
"Phoenix Dance steps."
Ming Yuelin hurriedly used her movement technique to fluidly dodge the huge slash and *boom* the place she was just now was blown to shreds.
Ming Yuelin's jaw dropped and she hastily turned her eyes to Zhang Yuan "Master... which level of Saint profound stage is this?"
"Oh, it's the 6th level."
Wha- Ming Yuelin's eyebrows twitched 'I am in the 3rd level of Spirit profound stage and this bird is in the 6th level of SAINT PROFOUND STAGE! HUH?'
*feen* A purple laser beam was shot from its mouth and Ming Yuelin side stepped dodging the bean.
But the Heron was relentless and moved its head aiming its beam at Ming Yuelin. *feen*
Ming Yuelin used Phoenix Dance steps to move around the field dodging the laser and as the laser stopped, she dashed towards the heron.
*swoosh* Appearing in front of it, Ming Yuelin pulled back her hand as reddish flames swirled around her fist.
*thoom* She gave a fierce punch at the bord's chest and the bird's chest convulsed in from the impact of her fist.
*thoom* Because of the sheer power behind her punch, the Heron was blasted away and crashed down to the floor forming a large crater on the ground.
"KREEEECHHH!!!" It cried in pain and quickly pulled itself up, purple electricity violently surging around its body in a mesmerizing display.
Ming Yuelin had a cold look on her face as she mumbled "I have been secretly studying this from the cultivation technique...."
"Allow me to use it on you."
*swish* The bow reappeared in her hand and she quickly pulled the string as a silver arrow materialized.
'Flow my flames into the arrow....'
Ming Yuelin's goldenish eyes fused as a red tint appeared on them and crimson flames spiraled out of her body fusing with the arrow.
"Phoenix Ember: Maximum Output!"
*sleesh* The arrow imbued with her flames shot from her bow leaving a trail of fiery glory in its wake.
As it soared through the air, the flames surrounding the arrow began to take on the form of a majestic phoenix, its wings outstretched and blazing with intensity.
*BOOOOMMMM* The arrow struck the Heron's chest which was already weakened by her punch and the flames sparked and ignited, erupting into a massive explosion that engulfed the surrounding area in a fiery explosion.
The ground shook for a second and dust and smoke filled the air after the explosion.
As the debris settled, all that remained was a desolate landscape of burnt and charred remains.
Zhang Yuan had a proud smile on her face looking at this and Ming Yuelin turned her head showing a playful smile.
"Master, I am your first disciple..."
Zhang Yuan gave a nod and turned his head to the door which was slowly opening...
'It's been some days since I last you, my cute little Phoenix.'
