Helliana's eyes blazed. "You think you've won, Vargash, but this isn't over. I will make sure to take you all with me to the grave!"

Vargash's laughter echoed across the battlefield. "Big words for someone in your position. But go ahead, make your claim. It'll make your death all the more satisfying."

Helliana raised her knives, she resolved herself to die and take everyone with her. "Let's finish this."

With a primal battle cry, Helliana launched herself at the nearest Hobgoblins, her blade slicing through the air. She fought with the ferocity of a cornered beast, every strike driven by an unwavering desire to protect her clan for as long as she drew breath.

The Hobgoblins closed in from all sides, their warhogs snarling and snapping. Helliana ducked and weaved with incredible speed, her movements a blur. She was a whirlwind of steel and fury, an unstoppable force amidst the chaos.

Despite the overwhelming odds, she fought on, determined to take down as many enemies as possible.

The haunting cries of her fallen comrades echoed in her ears, a grim reminder of the desperate situation. But as long as she stood, she would make the Hobgoblins pay dearly for every inch of ground.

Helliana fought on without stopping even with the injuries inflicted by the Hobgoblin numbers, but the relentless assault of General Vargash's spells began to take its toll.

Her movements grew slower, her strikes less precise. Arcane blasts and searing flames rained down upon her, searing her flesh and rending her armor. Blood trickled from numerous wounds, but she injured.

Vargash's laughter echoed through the battlefield as he unleashed another volley of destructive spells. Helliana staggered, her vision blurring from pain and exhaustion. Her sword felt heavy in her hand, her strength waning with every passing moment.

It was already a miracle that she had survived this long, encircled on all sides. Helliana struggled to close the distance between her and Vargash, thwarted by the relentless onslaught of Hobgoblin cavalry and foot soldiers. Every step forward was met with a barrage of attacks, each more vicious than the last.

She could barely fend them off, her movements a blur of desperate parries and counterstrikes. Her breath came in ragged gasps, and her muscles screamed in protest, but she refused to yield. The ferocity of her defense was the only thing keeping her from being overwhelmed, yet she knew she couldn't hold out much longer.

As another spell struck her, she fell to one knee, gasping for breath. The end seemed inevitable.

Just as despair threatened to overwhelm her, a sudden force erupted from the battlefield. A line of Hobgoblins were hurled into the air, their bodies crashing down like ragdolls.

A path was cleared, and through the chaos, a warhorse thundered forward, its rider a figure of fierce resolve.

"G-General . . ."

"I'm sorry, General Helliana," Thorgar said, his voice thick with regret. "Your father entrusted me with your safety. My duty is to ensure your escape when things turn dire."

"You can't be serious, General!" Helliana roared. "My father is still alive! We have to help him! We can't just abandon him! It's a disgrace to our Orcish pride!"

"GENERAL!" Thorgar's voice thundered. "Look around you! We're surrounded and beaten. Only a handful of troops are protecting us from thousands of Hobgoblins. They've laid down their lives to ensure your escape! Even your father is sacrificing himself for you!"

Blood trickled from Helliana's lips as she bit down hard. She looked around and saw the decimated Orc ranks. Her father, still a beacon of hope despite his dire condition, ensured all eyes were on him so they could escape.

Turning back now would be foolish, a disgrace to her brethren and her father's sacrifice. Helliana could only watch as King Kraggul and his army closed in on her father, the encircling forces tightening like a noose.

She shouldn't turn back . . . she couldn't. But as she saw King Kraggul's blade at her father's throat, everything went dark.

~WhHoOosH!~

An arrow blazed through the Hobgoblin ranks, piercing in a straight line, and struck King Kraggul directly.

Unfortunately, the arrow only grazed the Hobgoblin King as he swiftly dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding the shot.

"General Helliana, what are you doing?!" General Thorgar yelled as Helliana loosed another arrow, drawing the attention of the Hobgoblins.

Instead of answering, Helliana whistled sharply, summoning her mount to save her father.

She would not flee.

She couldn't!
