Flying above the garrison that had been built as a joint venture between the two kingdoms, Kyle couldn't help but look at the three layers of walls in awe.
The sheer density of the three cultivation energies that permeated the air around the garrison was shocking, even more so because the surrounding was scarce in energy.
In the end, the Sadorla forest was known for having little primordial energy, while the mana in its surrounding was much denser.
Nonetheless, it was not exactly much, which allowed Kyle to instantaneously figure out that the materials out of which the walls and the rest of the garrison had been built were exceptional.
Even Yasmine and Beatrice felt that the difference between the surroundings to that of the garrison was quite huge.
While the first wall was built out of a black material that blocked off all kinds of harmful substances owing to a faint, and almost untraceable dome which it seemed to be manifesting, the second and third layers of the walls were a means to protect the garrison in different ways.
Perceiving the faint, semi-translucent dome membrane, Kyle was slightly astonished because it felt oddly familiar to something from his past life.
However, instead of minding it too much, he paid more attention to the other buildings that could be found beyond the third layer of the wall.
Instead of seeing useless glamour which some nobles, merchants or other wealthy and powerful beings were deemed to require as a means to demonstrate their wealth and power, everything seemed to be focused on defending the garrison.
The tension Kyle and the others were able to sense despite the high altitude at which they had been flying for the past four weeks was tremendous.
As such, they couldn't help but hope that there was no need for them to worry.
From the looks of it, the garrison was completely unscathed but that didn't mean that they would not face many attacks.
Rather, it could indicate that there were always workers who would repair the walls the moment an earlier battle had ended.
Without being able to procure much information just from observing, Kyle couldn't help but feel a little bit uncomfortable.
He hoped that nobody would misunderstand him as an Aldra because that might as well mean his immediate death.
The situation in the Sadorla forest should be even more dangerous than anywhere else, and if he were to somehow appear as the slightest threat, it might be enough to get him killed.
However, this was something, Kyle had already been aware of before.
Because of that, he was able to calm himself relatively quickly, which was necessary.
As long as he approached the garrison's gates with a confident stance, expression, and a relaxed mind at ease, everything should be fine.
After all, he had Yasmine by his side, and she seemed to be well-known in the rows of demihumans.
Apparently, Yasmine could be compared to a high-ranked noble or even a princess in some areas of Anadra.
This was something that had astonished Kyle and Beatrice when they had found out about it.
Yet, once Yasmine explained to them that nobility and royalty were not important in the Anadra kingdom, and that nearly every race of the demihumans made one of them a kind, queen, princess, prince, and so on, their confusion disappeared.
Despite trying to soothe the tension, and make it seem as if she wasn't important, Kyle and Beatrice understood that Yasmine's reputation was on another level.
This should make things much easier for them, which allowed everyone to be at ease when Horice landed on the ground, a few hundred meters in front of the garrison's gates.
Instead of landing inside the walls, it was much better for them to show that they didn't have any ill-intentions, even if he looked like one of the Aldra that were deemed as impersonifications of demons.
If he were to give it some more thought, Kyle had to acknowledge that the Aldra were comparable to demons. However, that was only the case if all rumors about them were to be true.
Kyle didn't believe that this was the case and knew that the government had exaggerated many facts, but that was a given if he were to consider the current situation.
War was nothing to be taken lightly, and it was not unlikely for every single side to try pushing the blame on the opposite party.
As such, he could only think that the exaggerated rumors were disadvantageous for him.
Nevertheless, Kyle had to acknowledge that many races that were subsidiary races of humans had made a name for themselves when it came to being cunning or crafty.
In his past life, most trouble was caused by human-like races, which was quite frustrating because the Yadras were known for being peaceful, only to get attacked because they looked similar.
Having faced many unjustifiable attacks, Kyle knew best how it felt to be attacked without having done anything bad.
Because of that, he was able to leave the chariot in a calm manner, and walk towards the guards that had observed their arrival.
At first, they were immediately alarmed to see Kyle, only to witness Yasmine and Beatrice step out of the chariot to join him.
While Beatrice was uninteresting for them, they immediately recognized Yasmine.
Her fiery red wings were a distinct sign, and even more so were her unique eyes that gleamed brightly as she stared in the direction of the guards that eyed them.
Realising that they were staring blankly at them, the guards immediately gathered their senses and communicated to their seniors that a presumed Aldra, the Phoenix princess of the Anadra kingdom, and another presumed demihuman had arrived in front of the third wall.
Just a moment later, their report arrived and the guards on the ground immediately sent out someone that opened the gates before they emerged from within it.
Riding on horned horses, they arrived in front of their small group just a moment later, surrounding it quickly from all sides before pointing their spears at Kyle.
He had already expected a reaction similar to this, but before it was even possible for him to show the medallion that proved his lineage and the fact that he was not an Aldra, Yasmine appeared in front of him.
She spread out her arms in a protective manner as if to shield him with her body and it was just a moment later that Beatrice emerged behind him and did the same thing.
Caged in between the two women, Kyle could only sigh inwardly as Arashi jumped out of the chariot, and landed straight on his head.
As if that was not enough, Horice neighed out, causing a miniature tempest to manifest around Kyle, tearing the spears out of the arms of the guards that were already at the Krysal stage.
This shocked them, and it was only a moment later that all of the spears plunged into the ground right in front of them.
As a reaction, the horses they had been riding on began to neigh out in fear before they staggered back.
Witnessing all of this, Kyle could only look around, thinking that the situation had escalated quite a bit.
"Everyone, how about we calm down…you too Horice!"
Horice was, by far, the least patient of them all, which Kyle clearly understood since they began comprehending the essence of the wind.
Having been blessed by the God of Wind, Horice never had issues with anything, and Kyle doubted that he had been treated just like an ordinary horse that one could ride just like any other horse.
In fact, he had pulled a chariot for the first time in his life, and this was also only because of Kyle, and the wind orb.
Even the thought of the chariot, and being harnessed caused him to feel disgusted. But, he had accepted it because of the word he had given to Kyle.
As such, Horice had released his pent-up frustration to unarm the guards, before the mini whirlwind was targeted towards the chariot.
The whirlwind blew the chariot to pieces before Horice used the wind blades to free himself of everything, and then shook himself to get rid of the harness.
Feeling free, he was much more at ease which caused him to approach Kyle while controlling wind currents to move the wind orb towards Kyle.
Accepting the wind orb, Kyle couldn't help but wonder if Horice was trying to show off, to protect him from the guards that seemed to be hostile to him, or if the horse just did whatever he felt to be correct.
This caused him to smile lightly, believing that Horice might be more special than initially expected.
After all, Kyle had been under the impression that the Wind God blessed horse would leave them the moment they left the chariot.
However, that was not the case, and the horse stuck by their side which was truly great.
Nevertheless, it didn't solve the issues at hand.
Calming down everyone around him, including Arashi, who let out an angry yelp, Kyle stepped forward before detaching the medallion that was pinned to his shirt, showing that he was not an Aldra.
Holding it in front of the guard, whose expression was the calmest, Kyle quickly spoke in a sincere voice.
"I'm not here to do anything bad. Rather, I hope that I can enter the garrison with my comrades… I'm not an Aldra so please don't be too worried!"
Trying to diffuse the tension with a few more additional sentences, Kyle tried his best to convince them. And, the guards quickly noticed that Kyle was different from the Aldras they had heard about a lot.
In fact, they had fought Aldra a few times, but during those times, their opponents had always worn full-body armors and masks.
As such, they hadn't seen many Aldra, excluding the embassy that had been sent out, which was the reason why they had been wary of Kyle.
There had been far more problems that the kingdoms had faced due to the Aldra than Kyle and the others were aware of, but fortunately enough, he was safe because of the two animals, in addition to showing the medallion of his blood test.
This made things much easier, and once the guard nodded his head in affirmation, the tension of the other guards around them disappeared.
Afterward, as if on cue, Horice neighed loudly and catapulted himself in the air, leaving the place.
It was almost as if he was disgusted to stay in the Sadorla forest for even one more second.
Horice's sudden movement surprised everyone and Kyle could only smile dryly as he mumbled.
"What a unique beast…"
Yasmine and Beatrice could only nod their heads, and once the horse disappeared from his view, he stored away the wind orb, while Arashi returned to the soul core.
In fact, the Spirit Soul had been forced to return while he was still growling at the others, trying to protect Kyle by all means.
He didn't trust the others even a little bit, which was understandable given the way the guards had pointed their spears at Kyle threateningly.
However, while Kyle forcefully sent Arashi to the soul core, the guards stared at him in confusion, an identical thought flashing through all of their minds.
'Is he really not an Aldra? They are not even able to properly tame beasts without someone's help, and they're certainly not able to store them inside their body!'
Following that thought, the guards couldn't help but grow even more confused about the unexpected entourage.
'But if he is not an Aldra, what is he doing here?!'
