Chapter 199 Order

Name:Spirit Soul Author:
Kyle was utterly dumbfounded by what he saw.

It was completely different from what the others could perceive.

For a quarter of a second, they had been able to see the outlines of a huge being that spanned over several hundred meters.

However, the enormous inferno took on the shape of the sun only a few seconds later.

Before, it had looked like a ginormous serpent, but this had quickly dispersed, forming a replica of the sun, which everyone was able to see.

Only Kyle was able to perceive the true form of the being that had emerged out of nowhere.

It was a ginormous serpent, with four feathered wings.

The serpent had a huge beak, crimson-colored eyes and scales, and a colored feather crest.

Its appearance was magnificent and even glamorous to put it simply, but its presence was already enough to make the battle come to an abrupt standstill.

Everyone was forced to halt in their tracks, knowing that they would die if they were to make just one wrong move.

The sudden appearance of the serpent that circled through the air caused everyone to feel like they were about to die at any moment.

However, Kyle, who was the furthest away from the battlefield couldn't help but feel that the situation shouldn't be like that.

In fact, he was only able to see the outlines of the being that was far away from his position.

Nevertheless, Kyle was fully aware of what kind of beast the Soldiers in the center of the Sadorla forest were facing.

Yet, this was exactly what was the most confusing and unexpected.

After all, they weren't facing a true dragon, or a flood dragon, which some people might mistake.

Instead, the beast that circled above the center of the Sadorla forest was a Quetzalcoatl!

They were a specific race of serpents with a huge feather crest, and feathered wings.

From the legends Kyle had heard, they hadn't been extinct in his past life.

Instead, many races worshipped them as deities, and even as their creator.

In fact, some races had attempted to find numerous ways in order to prove that their ancestors had been a Quetzacoatl.

However, Kyle had never seen one of them in his past life, which was also why goosebumps sprang all over his body at the sight of the magnificent beast.

Feeling a chill spreading through his body, he couldn't help but smile oddly as he mumbled to himself.

"Just what is going on here? It shouldn't have planted the Licara flower…there is no reason to do so…does that mean someone sent it?!"

The thought Kyle had blurted out without realizing confused him extremely.

After all, it made no sense for a Quetzalcoatl to plant a flower in the Sadorla forest, and to allow some races to fight over its ownership.

In the end, the entire situation was quite confusing, but this was even more so the case when Kyle witnessed how the Quetzalcoatl stopped circling and instead began hovering in the air.

Looking down towards the ground, it was almost as if it was communicating with the three parties.

This astonished Kyle because he had expected the Quetzalcoatl to burn down a portion of the army in order to show its superiority.

Apparently, that was not necessary and he presumed that the presence of the mythical beast was already more than enough to instill deep fear within everyone.

Kyle didn't even want to imagine how terrifying the suppression of the Quetzalcoatl would be as the beast was much more powerful than Li, whose pressure had been the most intense and unbearable for him.

This caused him to shiver when he visualized how it might feel to be under the beast's suppression.

Yet, his gaze never left the direction of the Sadorla forest's center, which allowed him to see that the head of the beast turned to look at Briskandt.

It was only a subtle movement, but that was enough for Kyle to feel a deep sense of unease crawling up his spine like a spider would slowly approach its prey.

A premonition was spreading through his body, making him feel extremely uncomfortable.

All of a sudden, words that were spoken out loud, yet also not began to ring in the minds of everyone.

It echoed through the entire Sadorla forest, reaching Kyle and every other resident of Briskandt.

[Ants of the Sadorla forest and the adjacent playgrounds, WHO allowed any of you to infiltrate the Guild's property and to claim what does not belong to you?!

The Licara flower has and will always belong to the Guild, and nobody is allowed to pluck it!! Anyone who dares to harm the property of the guild in any way will understand that the gains are not worth the punishment YOU all will have to face if you enact your selfish plans!!

If any of you really want to procure the seeds of the mutated Licara flower, the Master of the Guild has made some arrangements as of today!!

Whether any of you Ants will truly be able to procure the seeds or not doesn't matter.

However, keep in mind that the Guild doesn't tolerate any interference revolving around the Licara flowers.

All of you had your chance, but by sending soldiers in the millions, you went too far!!

I would love to decimate each of you, but this is not the task I've been assigned today.

Your survival is mostly owed to the generosity of the Master of the Guild, and to his interest in you, Old Soul!

A notification about how to procure the Licara flower's seed will arrive at the guildhalls soon, and now LEAVE the center of the Sadorla forest!]

No sooner had the voice stopped speaking, Kyle clearly understood that the Quetzalcoatl was not trying to negotiate, but that it was giving them an order; to fuck off and disperse!

However, even more shocking for him was the fact that the beast seemed to be the subordinate of the Guild.

Initially, Kyle had been quite sure that the guild was one of the superpowers in the Shalivra valley.

Yet, as of today, he was sure that it was the one to truly reign the Shalivra valley and not the three kingdoms.

The goosebumps he had felt earlier showed no signs of disappearing, but that was not even worth his attention anymore as he turned around.

Giving the two women a confused look, he quickly realized that something was amiss.

The words transmitted by the Quetzalcoatl were quite confusing, but that was not all!

'Why the hell did it also speak about the Old Soul?! How does everyone know about my existence, to begin with?? It's not like I'm walking around with a sign that says [Youngest reincarnation of the Old Universe, Old Soul!!]... Just how is everyone able to know about me while I'm the only one oblivious to the truth??'

There was one worry Kyle had in mind, which was the slim possibility that the Guild was controlled by another Old Soul.

He couldn't be sure about that, and it might as well be someone who was in touch with Old Souls, knowing that quite a few of them were a hassle to converse and interact with.

As such, it was possible that the Leader of the entire Guild was someone like Yasmine's parents, who knew about Old Souls, and other things, yet felt no need to act on it.

'However, if that is really true…why did he suddenly act…Is it really just because of the Licara flower? Is the Master of the Guild playing around?!

What even are the preparations the mighty beast spoke about? Why is there a need for a notification, to begin with?'

Kyle was sure that the Quetzalcoatl could have given them the information which the Master of the Guild had wanted to share.

Yet, it chose to act solely as an envoy of peace.

The Quetzacoatl's entrance had been fearsome, but in the end, it had forced the war between the three parties to end.

In fact, through the beast, the Guild had even proposed that a way to procure the Licara flower's seed existed.

Kyle was not sure what exactly the seeds of the mutated Licara flower could be used for.

As such, he only know that everyone wanted to procure it, which included the Guild itself too.

After all, they seemed to have planted the Licara flower in the center of the Sadorla forest, for a reason!

'I'm definitely missing something!!'

Kyle was sure that some pieces of the big puzzle were still missing, but he had no idea what they were.

In the end, he did not even have a clue about what was going on, only to sense a sudden powerful ripple of energy that shook the walls of Briskandt.

p All of a sudden, several shockwaves of energy fluctuations spread through Briskandt, or the entire Sadorla forest to be precise.

Dark clouds were materializing in the sky over the center of the Sadorla forest, directly above the most crowded area of the battlefield between the three parties.

Upon sensing the clouds, and the hue around them, Kyle felt an overly familiar sensation that caused him to flinch, distracting him from his train of thoughts.

"Another Tenux storm?" Kyle blurted out, as confusion began to spread through his mind only for Beatrice and Yasmine to nod their head calmly.

They didn't seem to be affected by the news of a Tenux storm, and started to act as if it was perfectly normal.

It was only when they saw Kyle's expression that both wanted to answer him.

Yet, Yasmine was faster which caused her to quickly explain the situation to him.

"I forgot that you haven't witnessed a large-scale war between two or more races yet. A Tenux storm is a quite common occurrence during a battle where several hundreds of thousand beings release their energy at once.

Including the released energy upon death, the numerous sensation and emotions of pain, agony, anger, frustration and so on serve as a catalyst for small Tenux storms to appear quite often during such times.

This was the biggest reason for the three parties to hold back from initiating a large-scale battle right in the center of the Sadorla first, after all.

They didn't want to accidentally destroy the Licara flower while attempting to pluck the flower and steal its seeds!

On the other hand, I have no idea why each of the kingdoms suddenly sent out thousands of Soldiers at the Krysal stage.

It's almost as if they thought that if I cannot have the Licara flower and its seeds, nobody is allowed to have them either.

However, that is something I cannot say for sure because it would be quite stupid to sacrifice one's forces just to prevent others from gaining something…."

Kyle just nodded his head, feeling utterly dumbfounded about the sudden change of events. But what truly stupefied him was something truly miraculous.

Circling around the manifesting Tenux storm, the Quetzacoatl's went around it at a tremendous speed as an inferno of flames erupted from it.

A halo of blazing fire was forming around the manifesting Tenux storm and began to slowly burn it down.

Seeing this, and recalling just how powerful the Tenux storm truly had been just a year ago, Kyle swallowed his saliva.

'Just how powerful is the Master of the Guild, if the Quetzacoatl is merely a subordinate?!'

Kyle felt that the situation made no sense, but given the information he had procured so far many illogical things were occurring.

However, what Kyle didn't know was the fact that everything would become even more illogical, irrational, and confusing the moment a specific notification reached the Guilds all over the Sadorla forest and adjacent kingdoms!

And as if on cue, the notification about the conditions to procure the seeds of the mutated Licara flower, and other types of treasures reached them.

It caused an uproar in the rows of the three parties, and their lands, revealing both joy and frustration simultaneously!
