"This is so boring…Oracle, you really are a nutcase. Couldn't you have brought me to this shithole when it's a little bit more interesting?" Idun was extremely bored. She kept a distance of several hundred kilometers from Kyle and the others while eavesdropping on them with simple spells.
Her Arcane power was strong enough to allow her to do anything she wants in this weak place.
"The valley might be big, but there is not much interesting stuff here. Well, at least, I'm not bored to death. This youth's ability has some potential, and he creates a harem without realizing it. He has some skills…I guess." Idun waved through her black hair with a bored expression before she turned serious,
"But he is definitely the 'Infinite Growth' she mentioned. And saving him will save this Universe? I really doubt it…"
Looking in the direction of the only things that interested her, Idun smiled lightly. The youth, she got to know as Kyle was pretty interesting. As long as he would survive long enough, he was bound to become a hassle for the Overlords of the valley, and even beyond.
However, it was not interesting enough for the Oracle to pay that much attention to him,
'He must also be one of the candidates, huh?' She concluded, gently touching her lip with interest.
"No…he is not my type. I don't like these boys, who act like betas. And his appearance…" Idun shook her head sighing deeply, "ruby, or crimson eyes filled with greed, and lust is much better!"
Just at the thought of it, Idun couldn't help but shudder in excitement. She liked her lips, and without her realizing the picture of a young man was drawn to her mind.
But just a moment later she shook her head and the picture dissipated, while Idun gently touched her cheeks to calm herself.
"It was way too long since I've been laid…" She sighed deeply before she continued to mumble in a frustrated voice, "...well it has been longer than the time I've been imprisoned by all these sons of b*tches and these wh*res…"
She nearly screamed out her frustration, but Idun quieted down quickly as an Arcane sigil manifested in front of her. Idun activated it and her surroundings cooled down in an instant.
'Calm down you little bitch. Now is not the time to turn crazy. You are currently free, and you have a mission. As long as you finish everything properly, you'll soon be able to leave this fucking club of insane people, also called Eternal Prison….' Idun spoke to herself, increasing the intensity of the Arcane sigil by supplying more of her Arcane power to it.
"Just think about what the Oracle said what will happens after the mission… 'Immortal witch, you will be able to get free once your fated one will call you. When the ruby moons rise, you will retrieve freedom!', I will be free when my fated one will call me… I don't care what that means, but being free without obligation sounds perfect!"
If one were to listen to Idun, one may wonder if she was talking to herself, to some other invisible existence that ought to be near her, or if there was truly someone else by her side, talking to her.
However, that was not the case.
While Idun kept complaining about the Shalivra valley, the fact that there were only two interesting things in the entire ginormous place, and the fact that she hadn't been laid for eons, Kyle and the others were occupied with different things.
Time passed quickly while they were traveling. Kyle was the most occupied because he had begun to learn the Tempest Shirana Warlock technique.
It was a great technique to increase one's combat prowess while utilizing both powerful weapon techniques and wind affinity techniques.
Once one reached a high mastery in the Tempest Shirana Warlock technique, it was said that one could even cultivate passively.
Kyle was skeptical about this, especially because his cultivation energy was not an ordinary one. But, in the end, it was not as if he would lose out much.
He had to learn and practice the Tempest Shirana Warlock technique to become stronger, either way.
There was no way around becoming stronger than to keep practicing, cultivating, and procuring stronger weapons and other pieces of equipment.
Arashi reached maturity not too long ago. The Spirit Soul was likely to become a three-tailed fox after the next evolution.
Three-tailed foxes were said to have a higher combat prowess than ordinary beasts, especially since their elemental abilities were more powerful than the elemental affinity of other beasts.
Kyle looked forward to the day Arashi would evolve, and when his Spirit Soul would finish his evolution.
He felt that on the day of Arashi's completed evolution, both he and Arashi would be able to cultivate much faster. Their progress would be accelerated drastically, and their future plans would commence much faster.
With his focus always diverted to his back to figure out whether that powerful being still pursued them or not, Kyle was always a bit concerned.
However, once nothing happened for more than a week, he slowly ignored her, and the fact that he should be worried about someone powerful following them.
Nothing happened until now. Nonetheless, Kyle shared everything he knew about their pursuer, which was actually not a lot.
The others were shocked when they heard what Kyle said but they didn't really have an idea what to do either.
It was not as if they could confront that being because they didn't know what it would do. Kyle could just tell that their pursuer had the outlines of a woman, that she was extremely powerful, and that her power didn't originate from any type of cultivation vein or something like that.
Kyle couldn't explain it well but he was pretty sure that her power originated from her soul or something connected to her soul. It was different from his Spirit Soul but somewhat related.
In the end, he had actually no idea, so he could only shrug his shoulders, while the others began to worry. Their mindset was exactly like his. In the first few days, they were extremely worried, only to calm down after an entire week had passed.
Their focus was on something completely different, something that attract their interest far more than anything else; becoming stronger!
Advancing to the Krysal stage was the most important for Kyle. Arashi had already advanced to the Krysal stage. In fact, his Spirit Soul had already matured, which was why Arashi could focus on helping Kyle to cultivate as well.
They needed to hunt for Arashi's evolution path but that was something that would require lots of time, either way.
Thus, they focused on advancing everyone to the Krysal stage to fight stronger and more opponents in a shorter amount of time.
Kyle's Sacadra flower had been created for quite a while already, and he had advanced to the Peak Vitae stage when the Sacadra flower blossomed.
The Sacadra flower could crystalize the energy the Cultivators were cultivating with. In Kyle and Arashi's case, their soul force would be crystallized. Tiny shards would be created, and with the use of synthesis, they would be combined to bigger crystals.
After all, in the Krysal stage, one would create Mana- / Pryr- / Spiral Crystals, or in Kyle's case, Soul crystals!
"I'm ready, we can finally fight that beast. There is no need to hold back anymore!"
There was a particular lone beast, Selene, Yasmine, and Beatrice wanted to kill. At first, Kyle had been reluctant to attack it because it was simpyl too dangerous for their group to attack such a beast.
It may be worth the effort and danger, but Kyle had been certain that they would die.
His opinion had changed quite a lot after he felt the changes in his body after advancing to the Krysal stage.
Kyle could already tell that Arashi was powerful the moment he reached the Krysal stage, but feeling it for himself was entirely different.
Possessing the cultivation energy that combined the strengths of all three main cultivation energies, Kyle and Arashi were much stronger than ordinary Cultivators. Their strength was to be extraordinarily powerful and to be able to fight existences that were several ranks stronger than them.
Sometimes, they could even fight beasts an entire stage above their own rank.
And that was exactly what everyone, excluding Jaden, who was the most reasonable in their group, wanted to do.
"Master, let's eat that fucking pig!!" Aurora screamed in excitement, while Kyle could only lift his eyebrow.
"Girl, watch your language!"
