Chapter 40: Single Combat

Now that he received the Mission from the Missiontizen Online System, he was even more eager to implement his plan to combat the Greenskins. With the impending reward from the Star Citizen Online System, he gripped the Aetherius and walked in front of the Greenskins.

Under normal circumstances, the Greenskins present would have long ago rushed at Arcturus, but the leading Ork Nob was halting them as he looked at the adversary who was destroying his ship and massacring his kin.

Not like the Ork Nob cared about the lives of his other kin, the Orkish society worked that way; their Kultur was based on unprecedented violence and chaos. The sole reason why the Ork Nob stopped the other Boyz from attacking Arcturus was because he wanted to deal with him by himself.

Obviously, the Ork Nob didn't know even a bit of the Cosmos Common, not like that he needed to know something of the Cosmos Common, but when the Ork Nob raised his war axe directly at the Arcturus who entered the room, the message was clear.

Seeing this Arcturus grinned, because he knew that it was time for the duel. He readied the Aetherius and got into the battle stance as he awaited the next move of the Ork Nob. The remaining Greenskins created space for the two when the Ork Nob barked something in the Orkish.

Arcturus didn't understand a shit of the language, and even the Red Queen had problems when it came to the translation because it was some sort of the Orkish dialect, a very obscure one, but he didn't need to understand what the Ork Nob was saying, because it didn't really matter.

It was clear that the only thing that mattered was the challenge of the single combat, something that even Arcturus was rather eager to do.

He knew that while the Ork Nob was physically stronger by two Grades minimally, he had supportive capabilities of the Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants and the Dimension Empyrean was giving him Psionic Energy Reserves comparable to the Delta-Grade Psionicists, just with the 1st Ability of the Dimension Empyrean awakened.

The Psionic Energy Realm Ability of the Dimension Emyprean was something that congregated within his Soul Dimension contained tremendous degrees of the Psionic Energy.

Still, he at least managed to lower the mobility of the Ork Nob the Ork Nob even with the severely injured right leg, which greatly lowered his speed, he still managed to counterattack Arcturus with the same ferocity and brutality as before.

'Damm... this one is much tougher and stronger than the other Nobz that were on the deck of the ship, and I can't even kill the dammed green beast.'

He thought because right now he was playing for time, time until the battle droids under the Red Queen's control arrived at the destination and surrounded the Orks before they would cull them all down until not even a single one of the green menaces remained.

Arcturus and Red Queen needed only the Ork Nob alive, or at least part of him alive with an undamaged brain, so that she could extract the information through the Nanobots of the Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants.

He continued his exchange with the Ork Nob for several more minutes until he started showing signs of fatigue. This was the area where the disparity between the Ork Nob and Arcturus started showing up in full force because Arcturus's stamina was way below that of the Ork Nob.

The huge Ork Nob, who was around four and a half meters tall and hulking pack of muscles and power, was in way better condition than Arturus was. Right now, the sole thing that Arcturus was waiting for was for Red Queen to finish her things.

<All entrances are surrounded; we can start the operation against the Greenskins.>

Soon enough, he got a notification from the Red Queen Alice that everything was ready; now, the only thing he needed to do was to find the most suitable opportunity to issue the command to the Red Queen.

Sparks appeared in the air when two of their weapons clashed against each other, though it was clear that the Ork Nobz's war axe was losing in this contest. It was of relatively well quality, but compared to the top-notch weapon as the Aetherius, it was like a scrap of metal.

The Ork Nob was getting more and more frustrated with each passing moment because he couldn't squash his enemy, that appeared to be much smaller and weaker than himself.
