“Okay, Mom, me and Himekawa have a part-time job today, so we’ll be leaving soon.”

We have a part-time job today.

If there is no mistake in my shift, Himekawa and I should be working at the same time today.

I have no problem doing light work even with these fingers. I haven’t called the manager, but I’m sure it won’t be a problem.

“What? Are you working part-time too, Anri-chan?”

“Yes, I do. I work at the same place as Tsukasa-kun.”

“Dinner?”

“I’ll eat at home.”

“I understand. I’ll make it and wait for you. Take care.”

After a brief conversation with Mom, we left the house.

It was quite strange that we were both going to the same part-time job.

Riding the train, we arrive in town.

We go into the office of the coffee shop for our part-time job.

“I understand.”

“Tendo. I heard that the exam is pretty last minute. Study hard.”

The other day Himekawa asked the manager to adjust my shift, so people think my grades aren’t very good.

Although I’m one of the higher-ranked students in the class, here I’m the kid who’s not that good.

“Yes.”

“Himekawa told me that both of you are off on the same day. Both of you are students in your own right. Study hard.”

“I understand. Then I will leave the hall.”

“I’ll go with you.”

“Well, I look forward to working with you today!”

“Thank you very much!”

We both leave the office and go out into the hall.

I can’t go to the counter because of my injury. I will be in the hall with Himekawa.

I wonder how much Himekawa has improved.　

“Good morning!”

“Good morning, good day to you!”

A senior who is as energetic as ever. This guy is always in good spirits.

“I’ve injured my finger, so I’ll be working mainly in the hall for a while.”

“Okay, take it easy. Then, Hime-chan, you support Tendo-kun, too, okay?

“Yes, I’ll take care of it. I’ll take care of him.”

Hime-chan is Himekawa’s nickname. When did she get a nickname?

Himekawa smiles at me. She just recently started her job, but I can’t believe she’s supporting me.

Her smile is good, her voice is good, her gestures are good, and her uniform suits her very well.

Yes, her customer service attitude is passable. The bill is paid and Himekawa comes back.
