Chapter 2 The past of the Anderson family
No one moved, everyone froze in place for at least half an hour... well, maybe ten seconds actually.
Albert bent down to pick up the pale yellow envelope. It was a letter without a stamp. There was a line of words written in emerald green ink on it, and he read it softly:
Tibey Avenue, No. 19, entrance, Mr. Albert Anderson.
When Albert read this text, he found that he actually triggered a task:
The Wizard's Path.
You have what it takes to be a wizard, but you are not yet qualified, and now you have a rare opportunity to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and become a student.
Reward 10,000 experience, 2 skill points, and wizard blood +1.
Wizard blood?
Albert was stunned.
What the **** is this.
Two skill points are very tempting. You must know that you only have 1 point to become a student of Eton College, and Albert has only got 3 skill points after saving for so many years, and he is not willing to use them.
However, what's even worse is that this place is still the world of novels.
The wizarding world in the Harry Potter novels?
Albert turned the envelope over, and sure enough, he saw the coat of arms of Hogwarts, with a capital "H" on it, surrounded by a lion, an eagle, a badger and a snake.
"Mom, do all zoos now train owls to be postmen?" Nia stared curiously at the owl that stayed nearby.
"Nia, I don't think anyone would owl a letter. At least normal people wouldn't. Maybe it was just a prank." Daisy looked at her husband, saw Herb frowning tightly, and asked, "Why? Now, honey, should we go out now?"
"It's nothing, Albert, show me the letter." Herb said softly.
"Oh, here." Albert gave the envelope to his father.
"Honey!" Daisy was a little upset.
Heb didn't pay attention to the displeasure on his wife's face, quickly opened the envelope, took out the parchment inside, glanced at it, and said, "Children, it seems that our plan will be postponed."
"Dear Herb, what happened, what's in the letter?" Daisy felt that her husband was a little abnormal, and her tone couldn't help but increase.
"Dad, what was written in the letter?" Nia couldn't help asking, but Albert, who received the letter, didn't have much reaction.
"Let's go back to the living room, Daisy." Herb closed the car door heavily, and brought his family back to the living room.
After the entrance door was closed, the owl delivering the letter still did not leave.
"Dear Herb, you'd better give me a proper explanation." Daisy looked annoyed, she couldn't wait to see her son in the Eton uniform.
"Dad, what is the content of the letter? Read it out for everyone to listen to. I also want to know who can predict where I will appear." Albert didn't have much emotion on his face, of course he knew this What's the matter with the letter? If you haven't experienced time travel and panel incidents, you may have a shocked expression after seeing that letter.
But the first two times he was shocked and found himself living in the world of a novel. It didn't seem too strange to think about it. What's more, he had read the best-selling books of Harry Potter and had written a novel. This fan.
At that time, I checked a lot of information, and I still had some understanding of the world view of this novel.
"Then I'll read it." Heb glanced at his son who was as calm as ever, and read out the contents of the parchment:
Principal of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: Albus Dumbledore (President of the International Federation of Magic, President of the Wizarding Association, first-class magician of the Merlin Sir Order)
"Hogwarts...school!" Daisy widened her eyes in astonishment, because she had already guessed what it was...an admission letter?
"Magic, is there really magic in this world?" Nia couldn't hide her excitement, "I also want to learn magic, and I want to go to a magic school."
"Hate Albert, let me go!" Nia looked at her brother dissatisfied. She was about to lean over to read the letter, but was stopped by Albert.
"Nia, let Dad finish the letter." Albert signaled his father to continue reading the letter, and sat down with his angry mother.
"Son, I will never let you go to Hogg..." Daisy was very angry, she felt that her husband might know something.
Herb coughed lightly, and continued to read:
Dear Mr. Anderson:
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Enclosed is a list of required books and equipment.
Semester is scheduled to start on September 1st. We will be waiting for your owls until July 21st.
Vice Principal (female) Minerva McGonagall.
Herb finished the letter, and then handed the letter to his son.
Albert glanced at it, then handed it to his curious younger sister, while Nia took the letter and ran to her mother Daisy.
After studying the content of the letter sentence by sentence, Daisy said word by word:
"I definitely don't agree to let Albert go to this kind of school. No, someone must be playing tricks on us. Maybe, we should call the police immediately and catch that annoying troublemaker."
"Mom, did the owl waiting for you on the letter ask us to write a reply to them?" Nia asked suddenly.
Daisy didn't speak, but stared at her husband with oppressive eyes.
Albert asked: "Dad, do you know something?"
"I don't really know." Herb put his hands on his head, and seemed to be caught in a short memory: "When I was about the same age as you, my father, that is, your grandfather, didn't understand that I hadn't received a letter from Hogg. Letter from Watts was disappointing."
“I once asked my father what Hogwarts was, and he only said it was a school.”
"Later, when my father was drunk, I asked why he wanted me to go to Hogwarts."
"He only said he was a Squib, but I don't know what that word means." Herb's tone was very low, and he still remembered that time, his father cried.
"I think, now I know what Hogwarts is. Father will be happy to know that his grandson has a letter from Hogwarts."
Albert certainly knew what Squibs meant, but he never really thought that he had something to do with wizards.
In other words, there is no similar skill in his skill column, otherwise he would have noticed it long ago.
"Yes, I should write to him, no, call him, he will be very happy!" Herb said suddenly, as if he planned to call his father.
"Herb Anderson!" Daisy yelled, "Albert should go to Eton, where he'll achieve things we can't even imagine, instead of going to a school we've never heard of, you know? It is related to his future, I will absolutely not allow you..."
"Mom, we haven't confirmed whether magic exists yet." Albert reached out and grabbed his mother who was about to go berserk, and comforted softly: "Didn't the letter say that the owl is waiting for you? Maybe we should write a letter to each other, so that Then someone from Hogwarts school came to prove whether there is magic, if it can’t be proved, then it’s a lie.”
"Okay, son, I agree with you, let the **** school prove the authenticity of this letter." Daisy clenched her fist and swung it vigorously, "Wait and see, I must call the police Catch the crooks and put them in jail for a few years."
