Chapter 153 - Da Cong

It was late in the night when Da Cong woke up to a call. "Boss, The Crocodile's army is looking for you."

Da Cong was sleeping on the upper birth of the train that was going to City Z. When he heard the person on the other side, his forehead broke into a sweat. Small beads of sweat appeared and his breath increased. He felt winded. He knew that people who were caught by The Crocodile always ended up dead.

"Why are they looking for me?" he asked finding his voice. He spoke softly so that he didn't wake up others who were sleeping in the same coach.

"They have caught many hackers, both professional and rookie. It seems that very important data of certain company has been altered or deleted."

"But that is very normal for any hacker, you fool!" hissed Da Cong at the informer. "Which company's data is in question?"

"Boss, we are talking about Feng Conglomerate…" said his assistant. "I have already left the city and if you can, don't come back to the city, otherwise you will be caught."

Da Cong's throat became dry. Frantically he removed the blanket from him. "Where are you right now?" he asked but the line went dead. There was no answer even when he tried to call him again. He checked his watch and it was 4AM in the morning. If they were finding him then it was possible that were already on the railway station. He cursed that bitch who had asked him to do the job. She had said that it was a very simple job. Even though it was definitely a single job, he had never anticipated that he would ever face the strongest enemy of the country. Why the hell did he listen to her?

Da Cong was the verge of retirement from the hacking world at the age of fifty. He had thought of settling down and marrying his sweetheart after making enough money as a hacker from a long time. He had been a professional hacker and had worked on several top secrets. He had earned a lot of money. This was one of his last missions. He had gone to his sweetheart's town to buy a house. He had given her the keys and was returning to close down his shop and this call came. He cursed his luck as to why did he even come back.

He looked outside the window of the coach and noticed that it was pitch dark outside as the train was running through the outskirts at a high speed. There was no way he could escape unless…

The train stopped at City Z exactly an hour later. Xie Shengjun's people were looking for him. His picture was sent to their mobiles. It was impossible that he could escape. In front of every exit of the train, his people were standing. They watched everyone come out. City Z was the last station. He was nowhere to be seen even as the last passenger got down from the train. Xie Shengjun ordered them to search inside each and every coach of the train. All of them entered the train and started searching the empty train.

Da Cong slowly opened the toilet door to see if there was anyone around. Seeing that there was no one, he dashed out of the entrance and started walking towards the exit. However, he had covered the distance of several meters only that he found men surrounding him from all sides.

He was brought to a house on the outskirts of the city where he was tied to a chair and left alone for a long time in a dark room that smelled like a dungeon. He didn't know how much time had passed in that room when suddenly the door opened and a couple walked in.

The man walked in to him and opened his hands and legs while the lady watched him intently. A huge flashlight lit on top of him and he scrunched his face to look at the people in front of him. Da Cong rubbed his wrists as he said, "Why have you caught me?"

As soon the words came out of his mouth, he received a resounding slap from the man. The impact was so much that his lips split and he started bleeding. "Ahhhh!"

"Who hired you?" asked Xie Yuansheng in a menacing voice. He sounded so cold and brutal that Da Cong felt like peeing in his pants.

"I don't know her name," replied Da Cong wiping blood from his face.

Another slap came and this time Da Cong fell on the floor along with his chair. "Ahhhh! Leave me," he actually started crying. "I don't know who she is."

Meanwhile, Feng Xinying was stunned when she heard that she had been thinking wrong all the time. A woman was behind it.

"What did she ask you to do?" she asked, as she saw Xie Yuansheng pulling Da Cong to sit back properly. She could see that Xie Yuansheng was boiling in anger.

"She instructed me to delete some data."

"And?" she asked. She was getting afraid to see Xie Yuansheng so violent.

Da Cong hesitated.

Xie Yuansheng kicked his chest with a monstrous force making him fall backwards.
