Feng Xinying looked at the two of them, a frown forming on her face. She greeted Xie Shengjin, and then went to the bedroom, took a shower. When she came back, they were still in deep conversation. She went and sat next to Xie Yuansheng, and heard them talking about the company shares.
"What is it Yuansheng?" she asked getting interested in the topic of conversation now.
"My aunt had staked a claim over the company saying that the company belongs to the rightful heir, who is Ru Shishi," he replied looking at her with a sad face.
"What nonsense!" shouted Feng Xinying.
The two brothers became quiet. They both felt very guilty of the fact that their family had caused so many problems in Feng Xinying's life.
"How can she do that when she knows that I am right here?"
"She is playing on the fact that you will never come out with the secret since you are acting in the movies and now if you would tell everyone, your image in industry would come tumbling down. I am not even thinking about the shares that will tumble when the investors would hear this," replied Xie Yuansheng unable to understand how to tackle the situation.
"Xie Yuansheng, Ru Shishi is my father's daughter but according to the will of my father, she has no share in the property. She cannot just come and claim to be the rightful owner of the company. This is sheer garbage."
"They have taken a long route. First it was Xie Weihui who is staking claim saying that after her husband's death, she is the one who owns it since the daughter who had run away and never returned had decided to stay in oblivion. So even if she has her own share of seventy percent, she can stay with that wherever she is. Hence in her absence, she becomes the rightful owner and now with that tool in her hand, she has the power to dismiss me as the CEO."
"But father's will says that you will continue to be the CEO."
"True, but in the matters of legal world, if the owner with a large number of shares demands removal of the CEO, it can happen easily."
"In that case, I will remotely send a letter that I want you to continue as the CEO!" She looked at the two brothers with a smile, "There, we have solved the problem."
"No, Xinying, the moment you do that Xie Weihui will expose you and it is possible that she goes to the media with it," replied Xie Yuansheng as though he had contemplated everything.
"What do we do Xie Yuansheng?" asked Feng Xinying feeling depressed all of a sudden. This was a major issue.
Xie Yuansheng slouched back on the sofa as he looked at his older brother. "Brother, tell us what do we do?"
"Yuansheng, if you want, I can get Ru Shishi eliminated in the prison. That is going to put a stop on everything. The old woman will cry to her death upon her daughter's death," he spat it. Xie Shengjun had been fuming with anger when he heard what Xie Weihui told Xie Yuansheng. He was scared that the truth will come out, Feng Xinying would distance herself from Xie Yuansheng, which he won't be able to tolerate. His hands were tied. However, if this secret is not told to Feng Xinying, it was possible that Xie Weihui might come and tell it to her. In all cases, they had to keep Xie Weihui away from Feng Xinying. They knew that Xie Weihui would never speak a word about her deeds openly.
"Tomorrow morning start a rumor in the market that half of the Feng companies in the market are making huge losses this quarter," said Xie Yuansheng.
"How will that help?" asked Xie Shengjun.
"The prices will tumble within a day."
"Are you mad Xie Yuansheng? Xie Weihui must be keeping an eye on the share prices. Don't you think she would also buy them the moment they fall down?"
---
Meanwhile, Xie Weihui had asked her newly appointed secretary to buy all the shares as soon as the company's shares would fall. She was anticipating that Xie Yuansheng would definitely do something to create chaos and this was the first thing he would do. She chuckled. "He doesn't know that I am going to buy even his shares and get another twenty percent as soon as the shares fall."
Out of the 51% shares that Feng Conglomerate held after they had gone public, seventy percent belonged to Feng Xinying and thirty to Xie Weihui.
Xie Weihui was keeping a hawk eye on the share market. She couldn't sleep that night. She had gone through her strategy hundreds of times and had thought of ten steps ahead. She was the ultimate in making plans. After all she did succeed in becoming Feng Zhantian's wife. She did succeed in murdering him and she did succeed in getting so much property.
She had slept off on the couch she was sitting. A phone call woke her up in the morning.
