Chapter 325 - Pulled The Trigger

Lim Chuen felt a sharp pain in his left shoulder as the bullet pierced it. Immediately he pressed the trigger knowing that if he was dying right now, he might as well fulfill the purpose that he had come for.

Feng Xinying looked at the source of the bullet. She saw that her security team had come to her rescue and men were running to her. In that moment knowing that Lim Chuen might react, she ducked in between his legs. Lim Chuen fired the bullet somewhere ahead of Feng Xinying. Even though he was injured, he somehow balanced himself and aimed the gun loosely at Feng Xinying.

Feng Xinying took out the gun that was tucked behind her pants and pulled the trigger right between his legs. "Die bastard!" she shouted as she blood splattered on her.

Lim Chuen fell to the ground as a lifeless rock.

Feng Xinying got up from there and looked at him. She shot his again in her stomach. There was so much hatred rising within her that she wanted to get rid of it and this was the best way. She emptied her bullets in his body. "Die! Die! Die!" she shouted as she fired.

His body now only recoiled with every bullet that hit him.

Everyone became silent. They looked at her. She appeared gory and all bloodied. She appeared dangerous. Her hair was covered in blood.

"Let's go," she said coldly. She looked at her watch. It was 7:20AM.

She had to now save her husband from herself. She ran to the car. The driver knew the next location. He sped there and the security team followed them. There was not a single cell in her brain that was thinking about Lim Chuen. She was filled with one thought - how to save Xie Yuansheng? "Faster!" she instructed the driver. From a bag beside her she took out her dress that she thought she would change back into after she had seen the killing so that no one recognized her, and cleaned her head and face with it. The blood had splattered on her jacket. She discarded it along with her shirt and wore a new jacket that she zipped right up till her neck.

"Is there water in the car?" she asked the driver.

The driver handed her the bottle of water that he always kept as a reserve in the Audi he drove always. She soaked her shirt with water and started rubbing off the blood as much as possible from her face. After removing for a few minutes, she looked in the rear mirror of the car. It was satisfactory. "How much time?" she asked as she looked at her watch. It was 7:30AM. She clenched her fists and could feel sweat in them. There was no time for anxiety because she had to maintain her sanity at all costs.

"Another twenty minutes young miss," replied the driver feeling stressed along with his owner. He drove faster and said, "Young miss, please wear the seat belt, I am going to break the speed limit now."

Feng Xinying wore the seatbelt and upon hearing that click, the driver pressed the accelerator. Feng Xinying looked out of the window. Everything was the same… she closed her eyes…

The security team that was following Feng Xinying's car had lost them on way. Feng Xinying's car usually had a tracker so that the security team could follow her everywhere, but somehow this time no matter how hard they tried to connect with her, they couldn't. They tried calling the driver, but he wasn't picking. They tried calling Feng Xinying but even she wasn't picking. Thankfully she had sent an SOS to them and they could track her exact location of her phone. They parked their car a little far away wondering whether she was really there or not.

They were scared that in this forest kind of a place did anyone kidnap her. But when they reached the location of her phone, they saw someone from far holding a gun on her head. Without thinking twice, the head of the security team shot the man. However, that man managed to press the trigger. They were shocked when they heard the second shot. They thought that he had killed Feng Xinying. When she ducked in between his legs but when they heard the third shot, they were surprised. The next moment they saw Lim Chuen falling on the ground and Feng Xinying firing the remaining bullets in his body. By that time they had gathered near her.

One of the men stayed back. "What do I do with the body?" he asked wanting to know how to dispose of it.

"Leave it in the deep jungles to rot. Let the wild animals eat it," she replied and walked away.

The only hope that Feng Xinying was now left with was that the meeting was delayed, which was highly unlikely. Would she become a widow so soon? "What about our baby Xie Yuansheng? You have to stay alive for me and for your baby." She thought as the car drove.

The car reached the house where Su Haobing was hiding. Feng Xinying looked at the watch. It was 7:50AM. She asked the driver to park it in a way that no one sees it and she got out of it. The minute she alighted, she broke into a jog to reach Su Haobing. The driver took the car away without garnering attention from the security that was pretty far away.

Feng Xinying ran up the stairs of the house. She looked at the address and found the apartment. It was 7:55AM. She knocked the door heavily. No one opened. "Open it!" she shouted from outside. She realized that the bolt inside was quietly opened.

Su Haobing had opened the door and rushed back to his sniper. He had seen a flurry of activity.

Feng Xinying saw him looking through the binoculars. "Young Miss, it seems that the leader has arrived. He is about to alight the car." He pressed the trigger a little. "I got a perfectly clear view."

"Yes!" he said and pressed the trigger.

"Noooo!" Feng Xinying shouted and jumped at the sniper gun to tilt its direction and the shot was misfired.

As Su Haobing looked at her with a shocked expression, she breathed a sigh of relief. But soon she heard another loud bang!
