"Master Lex, why are we stopping here?"
Lex Blake and twelve Noble-order powerhouses floated at the race track's entry, five kilometers ahead, where the scenery and landscape of the race track were changing between forest, frozen caves, lava highlands, and other random and chaotic phenomenons.
"What's the hurry? We are guaranteed to pass this unless we wait here for the next pillars of light," Lex said, his arms crossed.
Turning to the group, he continued.
"Let that Space affinity bastard and those two bitches come here first. You should know how they stole one statue again. You morons couldn't even stop them," Lex spat.
"You also failed to stop them," one of them uttered.
Lex's lips twitched.
"Shadow and Space abilities gave them too much mobility, but you morons still wasted your Chaos Gadgets mindlessly on them," Lex coldly said. "What's the fucking use if you can't hit them?"
Lex rasped.
"So shut up and stay here. They'll have no choice but to get on the race track before the next pillars of light shoot up, so when they come here, we'll kill them."
"Or you just want to forget all that? Hey, you. Didn't your companion die like a dog against that lightning blade bitch's Bloodline ability? And do you want to just let them go?"
A middle-aged woman with a hot figure and a mage's robe clenched her fist and growled, "I am staying to kill them!"
"I am also staying! Let's fucking kill them!"
"That's right! The best way to get revenge is to prevent them from passing this and killing them!"
Lex internally sneered. 'Good job.'
Meanwhile...
Inside a wide valley between two towering mountains spanning ten kilometers in height, Rin and Melissa were flying through the woods and being chased by three Noble-order powerhouses of Beastfolk race-wolf bloodline.
Two wolf-men and one wolf-woman. Each of them had one 2nd realm affinity and a powerful bloodline as they were beastfolks of the Trizarl Demon Wolf Bloodline.
This new batch of light pillars covered larger areas, so the area and effort needed to search for a statue was higher. Erix also had to search hard with his Space Mapping, and it would still take him two to three minutes, so other people had a tougher time, which allowed them to gather six statues so far, and this one would be their seventh and final.
"Boss, I am going to fucking use that meteorite skill on them!" one of the wolf-man with red wolf shouted as he took out a chaos gadget.
"Don't," the black wolf-man barked before he suddenly stopped, and so did others as they saw someone popping out.
"Erix!"
Rin and Melissa also saw Erix suddenly teleporting before the two wolf-men and one wolf-woman beastfolk.
"You want the statue, right? I'll give it to you," Erix said with a smile, a golden statue in his hand, but wrapped up with space matters.
"I have enough statues to get all four of you golden wings, but there's a price," Erix added while those beastfolks issued low growls.
Melissa and Rin shortly appeared beside Erix while the wolf beastfolk's fourth member also arrived.
"It's better to solve this peacefully because I can guarantee that we will safely escape, and you won't pass this checkpoint if you attack," Melissa said with a wide grin.
"What's the price?" the black wolf-man after taking a deep breath.
"Leader!" the muscular wolf-man shouted, his veins protruding. 'We can kill them, leader! We don't need to give in to them!'
'Shut up! There's no time to waste, Bulga. We have to pass this checkpoint!'
'That's right,' the black wolf-woman sent her thoughts, 'Even if we don't get the first rank reward, we need at least a top hundred rank or higher reward to make our efforts and resources worth this participation!'
'And we can't afford to waste more Chaos Gadgets, or we won't survive on the race track. We'll be in trouble if the new batch arrives before we reach the checkpoint gate.
"Tell me the price, and we'll pay it," the leader, black wolf-man, said somberly. "Let's finish this quick and peacefully."
Melissa floated a step ahead of Erix and Rin as she sent her thought message to the duo. 'Let me handle the price thing. I'm sure you two don't have much knowledge in regards to that.'
'Alright.'
Erix and Rin were more than happy to let the more experienced one of this world handle the trade.
