"Collect its organs, Lily," Lilith arrived and said as she waved her hand and released threads that picked up the broken pieces of the dragon before they fell further.
Lily collected everything in a few seconds.
"It looks like that's the region that houses the Pale Hunger Swamp," Rin said as she looked in the direction where the sky was turning darker and the land was all covered in a greenish-black fog.
"Yep. That's our last hunting ground, but things have been progressing out of expectations, so let's find the Death Root, farm monsters to get you more stats, and then we can leave."
...
The group returned to the flying ship and continued towards the Pale Hunger Swamp.
Since Rin and Erix reached Royal-order, they could once again get stats after killing monsters.
The fundamental ceiling of the Royal-order lifeform's stats was 5000 in each, though it was possible to reach 10k or higher with passive skills and bloodline like Lilith.
However, the stats couldn't justify one's prowess because of factors like having exotic powerful skills, high-tiered items, and higher mastery in Elements and Concepts that were the main source of power catalysts for their skills.
The custom-made armor and weapons that everyone got also gave a major boost to the group.
After arriving at the destination, the group leisurely stayed in this dark region of Pale Hunger Swamp while searching for Death Root and killing monsters.
The Pale Hunger Swamp was a huge swamp spanning fifty kilometers in diameter. Its depths were connected to a strange dimension that funneled and forced evolved monsters.
Death Root was an exotic resource that grew inside the Pale Hunger Swamp.
After searching extensively for one whole day, Lilith found two of them, striking it rich.
"Let's go!"
The man left with his entourage of seven people, five of them were at the peak of Noble-order rank, level 200, while Mordar King and another one were in the Royal-order.
"Kenshin, what's the plan?" Sameira asked after the enemies left.
"Cutting ties with Unfettered Fate Guild and Isabella is out of the question, so we can only fight."
Kenshin said with a thoughtful expression. "From his threats, it felt like he would put people around the Tower and try to kill members of Unfettered Guild by following them, so we have to be prepared for that."
"Bella is negotiating with an Elf clan that appeared in the Star-Drop forest. She is two hundred kilometers away, but if those bastards find her, she'll be in trouble," Sameira frowned.
"They won't be able to do anything on such short notice, especially since Isabella recently powered up after entering Royal-order."
Kenshin added, "It's time that we also proceed ahead with that proposal from the Terrapin Beastfolk clan. If we can get their aid, we can actively attack them instead of staying passive."
"The atrocities of people are increasing everywhere," Sameira clenched her fists. "It looks like we have no choice but to step up harder to maintain order."
"Otherwise, those rotten beasts in human skin will only grow more and more evil. Drunk in power in this chaotic world, those scums will continue to be rampant."
"Sameira..." Kenshin wryly smiled. "This is harder than it sounds, and you know that. For now, let's focus on solidifying our position here. Who knows what is going on in other parts of this world?"
"Yeah, I am getting riled up," Sameira sighed. "But we can't let them live. We must destroy this growing guild and this bafoon who calls himself Mordar King."
"Bafoon he is, but the powers he has and under him are higher than ours overall," Kenshin narrowed his eyes. "We'll have to act cautiously and prudently because we don't know what those nutjobs will do with nothing to bind them."
"Tell our Elite group to kill anyone who spots their members. Meanwhile, we have to visit the Terrapin clan. Let's go."
