In the clash of domains, Maze and Erix faced each other with their forms looking like flashing lights amidst explosions and phenomenons of their skills.
But Erix no longer managed to hold against Maze after his first attack.
Maze saw two giant spinning chakrams hurling at him while bringing chaotic space whirlpool around them and just flicked his finger, producing a giant jelly-like golden-green arm that swept its giant palm towards incoming chakrams and caused a blast, their energies meshing together as Maze nullified the attack.
Right after that, Erix's perception caught an incoming attack as he sensed it and erected his defense around him. A flickering space zone appeared around him in an instant before a baseball bat-shaped projectile with golden-green patterns and black designs struck the barrier.
Upon impact, it enveloped Erix's barrier into a faint golden-green hue before the defense burst into motes and Erix was struck squarely, shooting tens of kilometers away and crashing into a mountain.
"Is that it?" Maze appeared right before Erix with a grin.
Erix grunted and conjured his Erasure Void Rods right in Maze's body while moving his Quill to create a giant hammer.
However, Maze's body that got struck by Erasure Void Rods flickered and dispersed.
"You have to find the real me for that," Maze's voice appeared behind him.
Erix narrowed his eyes and struck the hammer in space, releasing a dome-shaped expanding shockwave with destructive aspects of his elements, mainly Nihilir, boosted by his concepts as the border dome and inside the dome produced hundreds of fist-punches.
The hammer vanished after executing this AOE skill as Erix wanted to hit Maze.
However, one part of the maze became unstable, and Erix teleported right before there as he struck his skill technique: Dual Vortex Chaos Punch.

'Time?'
Erix felt a strange and familiar sensation. 'He has an affinity of the Time element?!'
"Alright, enough playing around. I'll start to bring out my real deals," Maze grinned before he appeared right before Erix, his entire body coated in liquid-like energy with thick golden-green, black, and blue flows.
Erix was prepared, but in the next moment, he felt his stomach connect to something palpitating.
Maze's punch directly struck Erix's stomach before a beautiful yet deadly phenomenon akin to a butterfly's wings burst out from Erix's back.
Fortunately, Erix's Spectrum Heart was working well and he was almost unkillable against someone who used the same amount of stats and realm of power.
At least, that's what Erix thought.
Still, as the battle continued and Erix lost every bout no matter how creative he became and improved, an irritating and annoying feeling surfaced in Erix after a long long time.
Rin, Lilith, and Lily who watched the battle could only stay silent and watch.
'These people's skills, the foundations, and fundamentals of magic knowledge they have higher than us,' Lilith frowned.
'It is the same as a 5-year-old fighting against a 10-year-old in a math test,' Lily wryly smiled.

Erix healed himself after every beating and continued fighting with red eyes.
'There's no fucking way I can't injure him even a bit! We have the same stats and power level at the moment!'
However, five minutes went by more with Erix trying his best but only getting one thing in return.
"It's easy to fool your spiritual sense, brat. If you can't even find and explore the correct use of your spirit power, you can forget about touching me."
Maze grinned.
Erix felt helplessness stemmed from his subconsciousness.
It told him he was helpless against this individual.
