Chapter 6 6: Breaking The Engagement [1]

"Yes, Mother, I am pulling into the restaurant... No, I won't upset him or be willful..."

"Good, he is a good boy, a little rough around the edges, but you can fix him."

"Okay, Mother, I have to go; our reservation is in ten minutes!"

Alice threw her phone onto the passenger seat of her blue, Impraza seat, her face filled with frustration as she leaned against her steering wheel, feeling trapped.

"So you are saying I will die if he doesn't fall in love with me?"

[Yes, you will be obliterated as if you (skanky ass) never existed.]

'What a joke...'

Her body leaned back as calming blue energy flowed through her body, a faint azure glow inside her eyes as she leaned against the window, looking towards the cigarette lighter and biting her lower lip in anger.

'Should I start smoking?'

[Amon Winchester hates unclean (disgusting) smokers.]

"Oh, who cares about that simp ass little fuck boy!"

[Detected emotions detrimental to this (sluts) task]

Instantly the stern face that Alice was making faded as she began to look terrified.

"No, wait... I have so much to do; I'll enchant him, charm him.... don't kill me.... see look?" She pressed her breast's together, making poses she believed to be erotic to enhance her cleavage and curves in the car's mirror.

'He will fall for me in no time if I show him these; let him taste sweet honey; then I will be rid of this damn task!'

[Remember, you must not initiate sexual activity with the target. Or you will be obliterated.]

'Eh..? really!?'

[Yes!]

Alice began to collect her things, putting her phone into her black handbag, created by Artemis co, a widely renowned fashion and accessory designer; she hated this bag.

He bought it for her a year ago when his annoying approach began, and since then, she had never given him any respect enjoying the gifts but not acting like a girlfriend or friend, simply taking his affection as if it were for granted.

"Well, lipstick, foundation... my face looks good... I hope the food is good, normally he makes us eat Franzen and pretends to be all sophisticated... I've never been to this place... [La Regina] I hope it's a decent place..."

She opened the cobalt door, climbing out of the seat with a graceful moment, her frilly red dress dancing as she rotated before closing her door with the perfect amount of pressure before walking out from the private parking area, with a tight ponytail, a beautiful dark blue shimmering in the afternoon sunlight.

"4:00 pm... a little early. Normally that idiot would be waiting for me already like a sick puppy... where is he?"

A few moments passed, and there was no sign of anyone coming, so she got annoyed and would give him peace of her mind when he arrived; the restaurant was a small stone building with a rustic signboard with a simple paint job.

'System, please tell me my task and Amon's current favourability towards me!'

[Main Task] - Seduce and charm Amon Winchester

Make the only son of the Winchester group fall in love with you, no matter what methods you use; as long as he genuinely falls for you, the quest is complete. However, you must not insult or defame his reputation.

[Amon Winchester Affection Towards You: 0.01%]

The voice echoed within her head, causing Alice to stop dead in her tracks; Amon was still not there, which caused her to feel irritated as the sudden boom of an engine sounded.

The stylish red supercar rushed down the empty street rapidly before spinning the tires perfectly, scraping along the asphalt as it drifted and stopped directly in front of Alice as a handsome male sat in the driver seat, his eyes charming with a pristine complexion.

A moment later, the car's door opened vertically.

She watched as a handsome male elegantly hopped from the car, twisting his body as the door lowered behind him slowly before locking; Alice.

Alice was waiting for his usual greeting needing him to keep loving her, protesting that he already loved her; sadly, the damn system said he didn't, claiming his current affection for her was 0.01%!

Her eyes were fixed on him, they met less than a month ago, but he was like a completely changed man; his steps were measured, his breathing steady, and she could sense the faintest aura from his body.

This was ignoring that he was now taller, his face almost handsome enough to cause her heart to throb.

'This is the same, Amon!?' She thought to herself, feeling like her mind was playing tricks; how could this attractive man be the same simp chasing her ass like a dog after sausages?

He hadn't looked at her once since he arrived! He even seemed to be avoiding eye contact with her, staring straight ahead as if she wasn't there, ignoring every move she made until finally, she couldn't take anymore and walked up to him.

"Hey, why aren't you talking? What happened? You are being strange?"

Alice felt a strange sense of disconnection; the Amon she was expecting, his pathetic face, effeminate actions and sucking up to her were nowhere to be found.

Suddenly, she could smell a delightful scent of berries and lavender before a powerful arm wrapped around her hips. She instinctively wrapped her arm around his body as they stood side by side, harmonious to outsiders.

"Don't make a scene, Alice. I am here because my mother asked me to, not because I want to be here myself."

His voice was magnetic, almost charming her ears as she suddenly became angry; why was he acting like the victim here?

'I have to be here; seduce an annoying man; otherwise, I will die!'

Her mind was filled with countless thoughts, she had no idea how to seduce a man, thinking this low-cut dress would suddenly make the number skyrocket, but it was even lower! It was 0, a complete 0% now!

"Come on; this place does a great Bollito di carne, and I'm starving."

Alice could feel his hand grasp her hips tighter as they entered the rustic Italica restaurant.

The interior was cosy and inviting, with rough-hewn stone walls and exposed wooden beams overhead. The dim and intimate lighting cast a soft golden glow over the tables and chairs arranged throughout the space.

'Eh, when did he find out my favourite Italica dish? See.. stupid system; he loves me for sure!'

[(Idiot)]

The chairs were sturdy and comfortable, with woven rush seats and high backs. The tables were covered with red and white checkered tablecloths, giving the room a distinctly Italica feel. Each table had a white porcelain plate, a silverware set, and a linen napkin folded neatly beside the plate.

In one corner of the room, a small brick oven crackled and popped, sending out bursts of heat and the mouth-watering aroma of freshly baked bread. The kitchen was partially visible through an open archway, and the sound of clanging pots and pans could be heard over the soft hum of conversation.

A few framed paintings of the Tuscon countryside and the Italica coast were on the walls. The floors were tiled with earthy terracotta tiles, giving the impression of a sun-drenched Italica village.

'It's quite warm and welcoming...'

The menu was filled with classic Italica dishes, such as spaghetti alla carbonara, lasagne al forno, and Margherita pizza made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

'Hmmm, is it not private? Where is the special seating area? The waiters? I only see an old woman and her husband!?'

"Ah, by chance, are you Signore Winchester and Signora Murdock?"

Alice saw this old woman approach them; her accent was thick and hard to understand, and her apron was dirty as she almost tumbled on the way over from a cloth fell to the ground; before she dropped, the body of Amon quickly released Alice and moved to the woman's air, his powerful arms lifting her into the air, as the melodic Italian music played.

He spun around with her as if they were dancing, the woman quickly recovering from her shock as the diners began to cheer and shout in Italian; even the old man cooking behind seemed grateful as the whole place filled with a completely different atmosphere.

'Eh? What's going on? When did the neat freak Amon touch someone in such dirty clothes on his own!?'

[People change]

The festivities slowly died as the duo moved to a small table beside the window at the back of the store.

Amon stepped back, pulling out her chair; there was no stupid speech or showing off; he gently placed her down on the seat, pushing forward as he adjusted her hair, handed her a napkin and filled her with a small glass of non-alcoholic wine, a fruity zest with flavours of lime and lemon zest.

The sharp citrus perfectly offset the honeyed apricot in the classic Beringor Chardinay, creating a wondrously smooth, delicious wine with a long-lasting aftertaste. A refreshing non-alcoholic take on a wine full of lush fruity flavours.

His skilful moves were a world apart from the previous Amon, who merely shouted orders at the waiter or waitress and acted all haughty.

'He remembered my favourite wine to have with Italian? How... he only ordered Franzen and expensive dishes before... not even caring about balance or calories!?'

[Ding Alice Murdocks Affection for Amon Winchest: 1.0%] A message sounded to nobody, a mere echo in the distant cosmos.

Alice watched with bright eyes, her body almost swirling with a faint, icy aura, the power low as not to damage the area, making sure the wine was non-alcoholic or a ruse to get her drunk; her lips tasted a little sip, quick swill as she enjoyed the scent and flavours that caused her cheeks to tingle, her eyes staring at Amon with shock once again.

"Are you ready to order, handsome sir?" (The old lady waitress speaks in Italian)

Alice enjoyed the drink too much as she quickly sipped it, watching him, wondering what he might show her next as she couldn't recover from his slight changes from her memories of the past. Yet, the more she saw this side of him, the more the old Amon seemed to vanish from her head, replaced by a well-spoken, kind and handsome gentleman.

If it was like this all the time, would she have complained in the past? No mundane bragging of a mortal, his sloppy conduct and offensive language to those less fortunate.

Alice watched as Amon looked at her, smiling faintly before he asked a question; unsure what was asked as he spoke in fluent Italian, she just nodded, closing her eyes.

Her world was filled with his magnetic voice, the tarty taste of wine and the old lady's rustic accent.

'It's not so bad...'

[(What are you doing being charmed you damn pig!)]
