Chapter 128: Don’t quest with strangers, please! part

“You should walk over there and see if the goblin Village is nearby and report to us what you see, then we can all go back home”

Kinta commanded Ryu to go out in the open field and investigate by himself.

“Now you’re being unreasonable. I’m against walking out in the open, since you want to do it, you can go yourself”

“Really!? I’m generous enough to invite you here and you defy my orders as party leader?”

“I don’t mind following reasonable orders, but this is suicide. Besides you’ve been saying all the time you will be the one doing all the fighting, if I go over there I’ll be spoted for sure and I’m too weak to fight”

“You want to do things the hard way, don’t you? fine, now it comes to this I have no choice”

Kinta went behind Mia’s back and put a knife to her throat.

“Do as I say or sugartits here gets a taste of this”

“You can’t possibly be serious! if they find about this in the guild they’re going to kick you out!”

Ryu exclaimed, still trying to keep a hushed voice.

“Hahaha, don’t worry about me, worry about yourself”

“But there’s many witnesses here, if you kill her in cold blood you’ll be branded as a criminal!”

“Witnesses? I don’t see any”

Kinta pointed towards his accomplices, Shortie and Thea.

“All I see is playthings and an idiot support that just won’t fall in line. If you do as I say I’ll let her go and we can all go back home, I promise”

Left with no choice but to do as Kinta asked, Ryu headed into the open field after asking the amarok to stay. Seeing Ryu give orders to such a dumb looking beast brought a mocking smile to Kinta’s face.

Once Ryu was far enough into the open field, Kinta grinned.

“Alright girls, drop your weapons and take your clothes off”

Mia, who not only was being held hostage, but also was unable to use her charm skill because Ryu forbade her to, was left with no choice but to follow his commands. But Fena and Sera didn’t want to drop their weapons and be left defenseless.

“Are you stupid? Ryu still has your supplies, what are you going to do if he loses them?”

Sera sneered at Kinta.

“Supplies? why would we bring supplies when we’re so close to the city. No one will starve in just a couple days”

“But those bags...”

“Oh! those bags? they were filled with stones”

“You scumbag! why would you do something like that to Ryu?”

“Isn’t it obvious?”

Kinta shoved Mia in front of him and stared at her her naked torso. Seeing him distracted, Fena took the chance to attack him from behind but a hand, solid as a wall, stopped her.

“Are you blind kid? She almost got you good”

Ryota, Kinta’s father, appeared in the precise moment to stop the attack.

“Hi dad, thanks for that!”

Kinta said scratching the back of his head awkwardly.

“Whew! look at that Rack! now I see why you got distracted”

Ryota said staring right at Mia’s chest while Fena tried to get free from his hand, yet he held her without breaking a sweat.

“You heard the kid, hand over your weapons and get naked”

Now that Kinta’s father showed up they had no hopes of fighting for their freedom anymore, he was a C rank adventurer which put him at the same level as their instructor, Risa, and they knew they didn’t stand a chance.

Thea looked at the girls with an air of superiority as they undressed. She was always envious of the attention Sera got at the adventurer’s guild, but what annoyed her the most was Sera’s indiference towards even the most powerful adventurers that tried to flirt with her.

If she was that pretty she wouldn’t need to be Kinta’s girlfriend and could score someone a lot more powerful, maybe someone like the guild’s new golden boy. Luke had all the traits she sought after, strenght, fame, wealth, he was also very handsome! She didn’t want to become and adventurer in the first place, all she cared about was getting enough money to be able to disown herself from her troublesome family.

“Hey, you too!”

Ryota pointed one of the knives his son bought at the black market towards Thea.

“What are you saying mister Ryota? please don’t joke around, I’m your son’s girlfriend!”

“This stupid bitch... Do as my father says!”

Kinta slapped her on the face so hard her senses were numbed and she nearly fainted. He was a rookie, but he inherited his father’s stats and was trained by him ever since he was able to walk which made him even stronger than Ryota at his age. If it wasn’t for the skills his father developed and his dual class, Kinta would even be able to beat him.

Seeing she was lying on the ground completely defenseless, Kinta simply took her mace away and undressed her like he usually did whenever they spent the night together.

“Get up!”

Ryota said kicking her after leaving her completely naked. She was still so affected by the hit to the face she didn’t even try to cover herself. She looked at Shortie, begging with her eyes for help, but he avoided her gaze. Making her realize the stupid mistake she had commited.

If he was able to betray even Ryu, who had been a good companion, why would he risk helping her. She always mistreated and looked down upon him so he had no reason at all to help her, more so, he even felt a bit of joy after seeing her being humilliated.

“You- can’t- you can’t do this to me, I’m...”

Thea was completely helpless.

“Oh so you want another one? perhaps you want us to drag your sorry ass to our camp”

Thea covered her face and tried to get up but she was too dizzy, Kinta helped her out by pulling her hair forcing her to stand up.

“I must tell you son, you really did a great job, the bitch and the shy one are so so, but the other two are going to make us a fortune!”

Kinta scratched his nose, proud after being complimented by his personal hero, the person he admired the most in the world.

“By the way, should we kill those beasts? they’re Ryu’s pets”

“Nah, look at them, they’re so dumb they didn’t even notice what’s going on, and If we attack them the goblins will be on alert”

They walked in line through the dense vegetation, contrary to Ryu, he was very familiar with the place and didn’t risk getting lost if he went far from the path. Ryota was in the lead position, while Kinta and Shortie took the rear guard.

Kinta made sure to leave Sera right in front of him, he simply couldn’t get his eyes off of Sera’s buttocks and nearly tripped more than once due to being distracted, but Shortie kept his gaze directed towards the ground the whole time.

Everyone walked in silence, except for Mia who would sometimes yelp after stepping on a branch or a pointy stone. She was the weaker among them, at least physically, and her feet really hurt with each step she took.

“Hey guys! Check out the goods my son brought with him!”

Ryota said as he greeted his friends, they were slave drivers that worked in all sorts of criminal activities, ranging from stealing to assasination. There were six of them at the camp site and two more standing guard.

Their usual method was to lure people into quests with the promise of low risk and high reward, and after stealing from them and using them however they wanted, they would sell them on the slave market.

Some where stronger than others, but Ryota was among the strongest being one of the only two members of their group that had two classes instead of one.

When they saw mia they started whistling and cheering in loud voices.

“She’s got a pretty lewd body!”

“We’re going to make a fortune today!”

“I want to go first!”

But when they saw Sera, they all gasped and fell silent in admiration. She was the most beautiful girl they had ever seen, her long blond hair cascaded down her back and a bit on her front. Her smooth skin which would be spotless if it wasn’t for the scratches she made on the way to the clearing after walking through the bushes. Her skin was so smooth it made everyone think she may as well be made of porcelain and her deep blue eyes left them in a daze.

“You can do what you want with the others, but you can’t touch this one! She alone is worth more than all the others put together!”

Ryota said, snapping everyone from their trance.

Fena, Mia and Thea were shocked when they heard those words, they knew what would happen to them and if they didn’t stand a chance when Ryota showed up, now they were as good as dead if they didn’t do whatever the men in front of them wanted.
