In front of every device that concerned the media, Artorious Hall's emotionless face was screened in every viewer's eyes and his serious voice echoed in everyone's ears, realizing the situation that turned humanity upside down just after a few hours.
A piece of shocking news this morning seemed to have shaken the heart and souls of everyone.
Although the existence of the Vampires had already been publicized to spread awareness, and the most crucial reason for the founding of the Three-Way Alliance as well, humanity's seemingly peaceful morning turned bloody as the skies turned crimson, along with the streaks of red lights similar to digital highways used by an aircraft to navigate.
It was unexpected how quickly it plunged a part of humanity into a pool of blood.

'...I wonder what went wrong...?!'
Feeling distressed at this very moment, Ayleen Mayfield, after the emergency meeting conducted earlier to address the Vampire Race's attack, held her head with both her hands as she sat in her personal office room in the Obelisk Academy.
She was confused and had a few questions flooding her mind.
To begin with, according to the memory of the Vampire Commander, Seskel, the official meeting of the twelve Vampire Lords would transpire on the first of February, which meant that the coordinated attacks happening at this moment shouldn't had happen.
In addition, the decision of the Vampire Lords when the formal meeting would be had changed, and decided to launch a preemptive attack against humanity after it happened earlier than expected. However, this posed a critical question that was necessary to address: What triggered the change?
"...What triggered it... Fuck!"
She didn't manage to contain her emotions as she stood up from her seat and smash the luxurious-looking sturdy glassy table.
She felt responsible for the lives that were lost because of the sudden change against the information she had gathered on the minds of the vampires that Russell and his group had captured.
[The Constellation, Witch of Dreams, is looking at her Champion.]
Upon hearing the message from the System, Ayleen Mayfield let out a sigh, trying to calm herself down.
"...Ha... There's no use thinking about the dead, but I must bear the burden and save those I still can in any way possible."
She muttered to herself, finding the courage to move forward.

The coordinated attacks of the Vampire Race were focused on a part of every country's capital. And since the capital of every country, though differed in land area, was considered wide and couldn't be occupied entirely and easily, especially due to the existence of the players that would certainly defend their homeland.
Even though a few hours had passed, the crimson skies and bloody clouds weren't changing in any way. It seemed as though blood would rain at any given moment.
Those who were near the "red wave" that seemed to corrode the souls and bodies of the weak and the dead, were trying their best to go as far as they could with the hopes of finding safety.
However, as time went on, a wooing sound echoed on every pillar that made up the ancient artifact, Eight-Point Crimson Pillar.
Now floating from the ground, the cylindrical ancient pillar started to emanate Mana, crimson in hue. After that, as if a whirling was forming in front of it, Warp Gates began to spread like wildfire.
Numerous Warp Gates appeared a few distances away from the crimson pillar. Within that Warp Gates, pale-skinned individuals came out with different expressions on their faces, but most looked jubilant and hungry.
"...Time to taste a human blood-!"
"...HAHAHA-! I'm tired of those foolish Elves!"
"...HAHAHA-!"
The voices of the Vampire Soldiers echoed and continued their hunt for their prey that were running for their lives.
"Those mad soldiers..."
The woman, who had commanded the other vampire spies throughout the continent to set up the Eight-Point Crimson Pillar, muttered to herself.
She was guarding the Zeroth crimson pillar that granted a boost in stats for the Vampires under the dome it caused.
The Eight-Point Crimson Pillar, as an ancient artifact, had been repeatedly used against the Elven Race during the previous wars. It would grant the Vampires an unimaginable power to at least be more worrisome during the war.
However, it would weaken any race that was in the scope of its effect.
It was like a gigantic barrier made of crimson spider webs, perfectly woven to trap those within and to create a great disadvantage for the potential prey.
"...General Anne, I am grateful for your hard work."
Suddenly, a voice cut off the woman's thoughts, who was referred to by a vampire as General Anne.
Anne, the Vampire General, looked at the Vampire Soldier and said in a cold manner.
"I don't need your appreciation. Get lost and do your job."
The Vampire Soldier was flustered as he turned his head and went outside the more destroyed training center, along with thousands of vampires that would hunt the humans in the area.
'Sigh, just why the hell does it possess a long cooldown?!'
She inwardly grumbled. Anne wasn't a spy, however, how she managed to go into human territory without utilizing the Ring of Crimson was due to a certain skill that every Vampire General possessed.
This skill was called "Blood Substitute" and would allow the superior to travel long distances instantly by using the body of a subordinated vampire that's connected to the "Blood Link."
"Hmm... Since I can't do anything about it... for now, I think I'll watch from afar the spectacles of getting the humans slaughtered."
She then floated and flew to the sky, just above the zeroth pillar that was relevant to run this field of crimson.

On Russell Moon's side. After a few hours since the infiltration of the Vampire Army's Red Fortress.
"...Huh, what's that from afar?"
The battle against the hundreds of Vampire Soldiers and the newly appointed Vampire Commander had finally come to an end. And at this moment, from within the Red Fortress' window, Amelie, who looked afar, saw the crimson skies as they seemed to overlap with the yellow sun on the sky.
Since they were far from the Orion Continent, it looked like a dot from their distance, however, without obstacles in sight due to being on top of the fortress, the crimson skies could be discerned.
The others, who were on their own businesses, stopped for a moment and glance at Amelie. They wondered what she was referring to, and after a few seconds, they couldn't help but also look outside the window.
"...Oppa... Is that..."
Freya asked, concerned.
"...Yes, it's from the Vampire Race. It seems they also launch an attack, but let's focus on the mission. I'm certain they'd be all right, though it might be a little draining for humanity for the moment."
If there was one thing that the Human Race was proud of in this forsaken world, it would be the number of humans that existed throughout the Orion Continent, numbered about three to four billion. In other words, the Vampires' decision to attack was a plain stupid decision as they could be easily outnumbered by the players.
'Sigh, they're either too lazy or just an idiot.
'Also, it's just the beginning. There's also the Black Sky Disorder and the Project Black Veil.'
Russell thought as the others went around and looted the necessary or whatever might look useful or expensive.

After some time, the looting of the Red Fortress ended.
Russell then contacted Ayleen through a smartwatch.
– "Miss Ayleen, our work here is. We'll wait here."
Their mission, as simple as it sounded, wasn't just to capture the nearest base of the vampires situated on the Northern Elnira.

In the Executive Training Grounds of the A-1 Class of the Rigel Building.
Elizabeth von Etherion, Anya Amasawa, and Han Jiho were all at a loss for words at the sudden declaration of war against the Vampire Race.
These three were also restricted to get out of the Obelisk Academy for safety, at least, especially since the Obelisk Organization Headquarters was just a few distances away from it.
"...Argh-! I feel helpless, sh*t!"
Anya muttered, kicking the training dummy.
"Ha... You're not the only one, but you see, our respective parents do love us. That's why they can not risk letting us do whatever we want in terms of circumstances such as war.
"We also don't know the intel that the Vampires possessed. What I mean – it's possible for them to kidnap us to be used as leverage, you know."
Elizabeth responded, sitting on the bench and resting. Jiho, on the other hand, was just silent.
Sometime later, he muttered inwardly, full of conviction.
'...I have to do something...'
He was tired of being truly powerless and only relying on something mysterious that had yet to be uncovered.
