Although the Wind Flame Divine Lord was already old and had used up almost all his potential, Alex still looked at his information panel, hoping to see something different just like Aurelius.
It was a letdown!
The Wind Flame Divine Lord didn't have any treasure worth attracting Alex's eyes.
Aurelius couldn't quite understand why, but he sensed something unusual in the way Alex was looking at him. It was as if Alex was gazing at him with the intensity of someone determined not to let a cherished lover out of his sight.
Alex controlled his excitement and appeared right in between the two and said, "Why not put an end to this meaningless battle?"
"Boy, who are you?" The old man frowned and was displeased, but dared not take any rushed action. From the way Alex appears right between him and Aurelius, he can tell that Alex is no ordinary boy.
"Didn't I say before," Alex looked at Wind Flame Divine Lord and smiled, "My name is Alex White."
"What do you want?" Aurelius asked with a frown.
"Let's talk somewhere else!" Alex suddenly grabbed Aurelius and disappeared, appearing more than a hundred miles away.
When they reappeared, Alex took out something that appeared to be a map and started looking at it carefully.
On the other hand, Aurelius was stunned before backing off and shouting, "You... What do you want?"
Alex kept the map and pointed in a certain direction, saying, "According to Fritz, about dozens of miles away from here in that direction, a city called the Slaughter City will appear. Our goal is that city."
Aurelius frowned. It was obvious that Alex did not answer his question directly.
Looking at Aurelius, Alex sighed and asked, "Tell me, what is your ambition? What do you truly want?"
Aurelius: "..."
He was confused, not knowing what exactly Alex wanted to say.
Shaking his head, Alex explained, "My question is simple. There must be something that you want, right? Something, that is keeping you going forward, something that is making you want to become stronger."
Aurelius fell silent. There was indeed something that he wanted, which kept him moving forward. He endured all the troubles and trials to get stronger only to prove that he could be the next generation's Lightning God.
Obviously, Aurelius never expected Alex to have come from a different world. Most importantly, Alex also said that he could bring Aurelius out of this world to have adventures in other worlds.
If that is really true, doesn't it mean he can visit higher-leveled worlds? When that time comes, just as Alex said, he can truly grow strong far quicker than ever before.
As for Alex's claim to be the native of both the Essence Sky World and the Clear Sky World, he didn't pay attention to these things.
Whether it is true or not, it has nothing to do with him. As long as Alex can truly bring him out of the Clear Sky World, he is willing to bait everything.
"I'll ask only two questions," Aurelius said, looking at Alex seriously. "You must answer them truthfully. If your answers don't convince me, you might as well kill me, but I won't go anywhere with you!"
"Ask," Alex replied calmly, not expecting Aurelius to so easily agree. At first, he thought it might take him a long time to convince Aurelius. In fact, he even thought that he may have to show Aurelius his true cultivation.
In the end, he doesn't need to do anything, and Aurelius agrees. Of course, the prerequisite is for him to satisfy Aurelius with his answers.
"First question," Aurelius looked directly at Alex's face and asked, "Are you sure you can bring me to different worlds?"
Alex smiled and immediately took out a mirror. This was the Mirror of the Myriad Worlds, a Universe Treasure created by Fritz, the second strongest person in the entire universe he had ever met.
Fritz is also an outsider, entering this universe just to meet Alex.
Aurelius could immediately tell that this mirror was an exceptional treasure, something that may have never existed even in the Clear Sky World before its shattering.
Pointing at the mirror, Alex explained, "This treasure is called the Mirror of the Myriad Worlds. As long as someone has been to a world, they can use this treasure to visit that world anytime they want."
"Including the Clear Sky World, I've been to three worlds. Essence Sky World is just like the Clear Sky World, with Divine Emperors as the strongest warriors. As for the third world, it is called Heavenly Cloud World. I don't know the cultivation of the strongest people in that world, but I do know there are many warriors above Divine Emperors in that world.
You might already know what those warriors above Divine Emperors are called!" [Ref. Ch - 314.]
This time, Aurelius was truly shocked. Even though he wanted to, he was unable to control his emotions. Excitement, Joy, and disbelief flashed across his face all at once.
If what Alex said is true, it means he has found a rope that can lead him toward his goal more easily.
Aurelius took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "Are you sure this mirror can bring you...us to these worlds?" His voice trembled slightly as he spoke, betraying the intensity of his emotions.
Alex smiled, "Are you sure this is your second question?"
Aurelius almost choked. He already told Alex that he would only ask two questions. The second question he has to ask is definitely not the above one.
