"I already have artifacts and enough training resources. So…what can the Silverflame Camp offer to someone like me?"
This question was more than feasible. Zayn was in possession of the Silvermoon Bracelet, the Elvia Leather Armor Artifact, and the Dragontale Twin Sabers. His resources to train were monsters, which meant that they would give him combat experience, and soul particles. Monsters could also turn into a big fortune and means to supply themselves with highly nutritious meat.
He didn't have a problem living in the wilderness either. His Spirits could protect him.
That didn't leave too many things for him to desire, if one excluded knowledge and information about the things he was curious about.
However, Sarah didn't answer his question immediately. She looked at him with a faint smile and her lips were trembling. Sarah was holding back laughing out loud.
She never met anyone daring enough to question the usefulness of the Silverflame Camp. This was a first for her, and she felt that it was a pretty interesting change for once. Zayn didn't even think of holding back his honest thoughts. He exposed them willingly, without hesitation, and with a clear goal in mind.
That was what it looked like to Sarah, who figured that Zayn was a hard nut to crack.
'Threatening him with exposing his Spirits and dirty secrets doesn't work? That is unexpected.'
"The Cavern Tower of the Casilian will open in two months. The Tower is restricted to the cadets of the Silverflame Camp. That's also the reason why the Silverflame Camp this year is so big, and why you can see so many young nobles. This is once in a lifetime opportunity. After all, you can only enter the Cavern Tower of Casilian as long as you're below 20 years old," Legatus Sarah explained calmly.
Her words shook the core of the 352nd Hunting Unit. They actually didn't know anything about the Cavern Tower of the Casilian. Its existence was news to them and their eyes widened.
"A Tower? Can we really enter a Tower?" Mike asked, forgetting about all formalities at the opportunity to grow much stronger.
Even Jeremy could hardly contain himself. He was even more shocked than he had been at the straightforward and informal way Zayn spoke to the Legatus. It seemed like the Legatus didn't mind, but Jeremy and the others felt a headache nonetheless.
However, now that this new piece of information appeared all of a sudden, they completely forgot about Zayn.
Zayn, on the other hand, was not too sure how to feel.
'A Cavern Tower that opens up only once in a decade? That should be a Tower Trial from an ancient civilization. That's pretty interesting.'
Tower Trials from ancient civilizations were pretty simple. The inheritance of an ancient civilization was sealed inside the tower, and one could unseal them by passing the trials. The higher the rating, the better the rewards would be. As for the highest reward, it was given to the being who could claim a perfect rank in the highest trial.
That way, the successor of the ancient civilization's inheritance was chosen. It was a pretty decent way to find the most suitable candidate to become the rightful owner and successor of the ancient civilization's heritage.
Zayn knew about Towers from his past life and he was instinctively drawn to them because of that.
'Maybe I can recall more about the past if I research the Cavern Tower? It's definitely worth a try!'
With another reason to join the Silverflame Camp, Zayn began to smile lightly.
"That definitely sounds interesting. I'm intrigued," He said with a nod, "What do I have to get officially accepted into the Silverflame Camp? Is there something I need to do?"
The Legatus smiled at Zayn's response. She knew that it was hardly possible for anyone to reject the thought of being granted unique powers.
The heritage of the ancient civilizations was not something related to the Gods. That meant even Normies could be granted unique powers. Sarah knew that Zayn could summon Spirits and control them. She presumed that he was granted the authority of a power that originated from the era long before the Realm Fusion.
It didn't happen often, but there were a few dozen cases where Normies with unique powers appeared all of a sudden.
They were all extremely powerful and especially dangerous. Controlling them was close to impossible, which was also one of the reasons why Sarah ended up inviting Zayn to the Silverflame Camp.
Now that he was already here, Zayn might as well join the Silverflame Camp to get tested thoroughly. If his personality had changed, or if the reason why he summoned Human Spirits was just a tiny bit wrong, she would apprehend him in an instant.
That was something she owed her people and mankind.
If he was dangerous to the safety of humanity, he had to be killed!
"I don't really have any demands. As long as a Hunting Unit accepts you, I don't care," Legatus Sarah said with a shrug.
Zayn was glad that Sarah was so laid back. It made things a lot easier.
He turned toward Jeremy with a faint smile without saying anything.
"It would be great if you could join us," Jeremy said, trying to hold back his excitement. With Zayn joining their Hunting Unit, they wouldn't have to fear getting kicked out of the Silverflame Camp.
He sensed the opportunity and grasped it tightly. Zayn kept smiling but his head turned in the direction of the middle-aged man then.
"Now that I am a member of the 352nd Hunting Unit, I doubt that there will be a problem with the verification of the Troll hunt mission, right?"
There was a glint in Zayn's eyes which irked the middle-aged man. However, knowing the Legatus and understanding that she would never treat anyone like Zayn if they were not extremely close, he could only grit his teeth.
"There is no problem…" He said, which led Zayn to turn around, retrieve five parchments and hand them over.
"In that case, we wish to accept these missions and have the goods verified," Zayn said, his smile turning wider by the second as he accessed the Silvermoon Bracelet to retrieve a bunch of monster corpses.
They hadn't been hunted a long time ago and were still bleeding, dirtying the floor.
However, that was not something the middle-aged man could be bothered about right now as he was faced with a provoking smile from the Normie.
"Go on. Verify them!"
