Chapter 94 Awakening
Long Tian hurried to Li Yue'er's room, swung the door open, and found her standing there, looking bewildered.
She appeared markedly different from her former self, her once-black hair now entirely silver.
"You've finally regained consciousness, Li Yue'er. I've always wondered why every time something happens to you, you end up unconscious," Long Tian remarked.
"Was I unconscious for that long?" Li Yue'er inquired.
"Just a few days," Long Tian replied. "Well, waking up after such a period might feel uncomfortable. Are you okay?" he asked.
"I... I think I need a bath," Li Yue'er responded.
Long Tian nodded, and with that, Li Yue'er made her way to the bathroom, while Long Tian headed to the living room.
-------------------
Not long after, Ling Han suddenly approached.
"Young Master, someone wanted to meet you. His name is Feng Yuhao," he informed.
One of Long Tian's eyebrows lifted in recognition. Then, he suddenly recalled that he had placed a bet with Feng Yuhao a few days ago.
"I'll meet him," he said, and then left the room.
Outside the villa, Feng Yuhao stood in front of the gate, and as soon as the guards spotted Long Tian, they opened the gate.
"Feng Yuhao, It's been a while. I recall telling you that you had three days to provide the technique and the high-grade spiritual stones. How many days have passed now?" Long Tian inquired, crossing his arms. The chapters is up by N0vEI__bin
"For the blue flame technique might be easy, but your request is outrageous. 1000 high-level spiritual stones... I genuinely can't fulfill that," Feng Yuhao replied, his expression gloomy.
"Oh, even after all this time, you still wish to negotiate?" Long Tian asked, his tone icy, accompanied by a domineering aura.
"That's... I can only give you 500. I had to persuade my father and even sneak them from the treasure room," Feng Yuhao replied, handing a spatial ring to Long Tian.
Long Tian accepted the ring and stowed it away. "500, huh? Alright, but you must also provide me with 200 million Yuan," Long Tian said.
Feng Yuhao's expression remained grim, but he responded, "Give me your account number."
Long Tian grinned and provided his account number. He knew his request was outragerous, but he was quite satisfied with 500 high-level spiritual stones. Additionally, the 200 million Yuan would contribute to the investment funds for the development of the Tianjia Pavilion.
After confirming that 200 million Yuan had been transferred to his account, Long Tian smiled. "It's been a pleasure betting with you, Feng Yuhao. If you ever want to bet again, I'd gladly accept," he said, though his tone was playful.
Feng Yuhao's expression remained dark. "I'm not foolish enough to make the same mistake again," he replied.
Without waiting for Long Tian's response, he immediately left the villa.
Long Tian understood Feng Yuhao's frustration but didn't dwell on it. He didn't enter the villa but proceeded to the spacious field in the backyard.
He had just obtained the Blue Flame technique from Feng Yuhao and wanted to test it out.
Taking it from his spatial ring, it was a thin book with Chinese characters on the cover. He opened it, revealing a page with a depiction of blue flame.
"Then, I'll guide you," Long Tian offered, sporting a confident smile.
He motioned for her to join him. "Come here, sit beside me," he directed.
Li Yue'er complied with Long Tian's instructions, taking a seat next to him. Long Tian opened the technique and displayed the depiction of the blue fire.
"Observe and focus," Long Tian advised.
Li Yue'er fixed her gaze on the portrayal of the blue fire, and with each passing moment, it seemed to become more tangible to her.
After a few seconds, a faint blue aura seemed to manifest and was absorbed by her.
Li Yue'er found herself taken aback, sensing an increasing comprehension and a mysterious power entering her body.
Long Tian was equally astonished. Li Yue'er's ability to absorb the technique's essence was remarkably swift, nearly matching his own.
"Long Tian, I feel an unusual power coursing through me. Does this mean I've succeeded?" Li Yue'er inquired, her curiosity piqued.
"You've passed the initial phase. Now, it's time for the real training," he declared, rising to his feet. "Follow me, and I'll guide you."
Li Yue'er nodded and stood up, ready to follow Long Tian's lead.
----------------
Time flew by, and more than an hour had elapsed. In the backyard, Long Tian and Li Yue'er were still present.
Long Tian was taken aback by Li Yue'er's talent. She exhibited remarkable skill, and her comprehension was exceptionally high. Since he began instructing her over an hour ago, she had already grasped the Blue Fire technique and was now practicing it independently.
Every move she made was accompanied by the soft blue flames. The flames appeared subdued due to her relatively low cultivation level, which only the Body Tempering Realm.
At this moment, she struck a wooden dummy, creating an explosion that left the dummy charred.
Sweat trickled down her forehead, yet she felt thoroughly content with her progress. She also felt grateful for Long Tian's guidance.
Turning towards Long Tian, she sported a smile and inquired, "How was that?"
"You truly didn't disappoint me. However, there's room for improvement in your cultivation. It seems that, from now on, you should concentrate on enhancing your cultivation," Long Tian responded.
"Yes, I share the same sentiment," Li Yue'er concurred.
Long Tian nodded and continued, "I believe today's practice is enough. It's time for some practical experience."
"What do you mean?" Li Yue'er queried.
"We're heading to the border between China and the Great Yuan Empire," Long Tian revealed.
Li Yue'er wasn't sure about their purpose there, but she nodded in agreement.
With that, they made their way back to the villa.

Inside his car, Long Tian was driving, with Li Yue'er sitting beside him. This would be a long journey as they were headed to the border between China and the Great Yuan Dynasty.
Their destination wasn't for leisure, of course. The border area consisted of an expansive forest where bandits and criminals often established outposts.
It was a suitable place for practicing the art of combat and killing.
