Chapter 143 A Passionate Night

A crimson aura began to radiate from Long Tian, and the next moment, the colossal figure of Shen Long materialized above him.

"That's..." Lu Zhen trailed off, utterly dumbfounded, completely taken aback by the sheer size of Shen Long.

Everyone was shocked by Shen Long's size. It looked match in size with the sand monster from before.

Yet, Shen Long's form vanished again, drawing all eyes back to Long Tian.

"I'm still tired, I can't sustain it longer," Long Tian said.

Everyone nodded in understanding, yet, Lu Zhen became more intrigued by Long Tian.

"Our martial spirit forms are clearly different; yours has large hands and feet like a European dragon, while mine is the typical Chinese long dragon," Lu Zhen said.

"But I do sense the same aura. Maybe they have the same origin," he speculated.

"A dragon, yeah," Long Tian said.

"That's not what I meant. Each dragon has a kind of origin that might be somewhat lengthy to explain. But if you join the Profound Heaven Academy, I might teach you about Dragon's thing," Lu Zhen said.

"It sounds impressive coming from a Transcendent, but I'll be scolded by my grandfather if I join the Profound Heaven Academy," Long Tian responded.

"Oh, of course... I almost forgot your grandfather is the grand elder of Xuantian Academy. Will you be joining them?" Lu Zhen asked.

"Yes," Long Tian nodded.

Lu Zhen nodded in response. "Well, nice to meet you, kid. Maybe I'll take you to the sacred place of the dragons sometime," he said.

"What's that?" Long Tian asked, curiosity in his tone.

"I might tell you if we meet again on another occasion," Lu Zhen replied, smirking.

Long Tian simply nodded in response. From its name alone, it sounded cool; the sacred place of the dragons, perhaps a place like the realm of dragons he had entered before.

----------

Time raced by, and evening descended upon them. Long Tian and his companions had departed from the heart of Tianhai City.

Not the entire city lay buried beneath the sand, only a radius of 10,000 hectares.

Long Tian and Ling Han climbed into the car. However, Ling Han didn't immediately ignite the engine; instead, he answered his phone.

After a terse conversation with someone on the call, he turned his gaze toward Long Tian. "Young master, it appears you'll be handling the driving yourself. I've been summoned to accompany your mother to the Great Yuan Dynasty," he announced.

"The Great Yuan Dynasty? Why is my mother going there?" Long Tian inquired, his curiosity piqued.

"I'm not certain. I heard your father is also en route; they might be delving into matters of business," Ling Han replied.

"I understand," Long Tian nodded. Then he decided, "Proceed, I'll head home directly as well." The chapters is up by N0vEI__bin

Ling Han nodded back. "Take care on the road, young master," he advised before exiting the vehicle.

Long Tian smoothly transitioned to the driver's seat and ignited the engine, steering his way back to his villa in Tianzhou.

He had found contentment in these recent days. However, his mind still swirled with questions about Qin Chen's whereabouts; he couldn't be certain whether Qin Chen would return to school as if nothing had changed, now that he was a fugitive from the empire.

----------

The sun descended to its nadir, surrendering its brilliance to the muted radiance of the moon.

His gaze turned glacial, burning with a thirst for vengeance. "Song Jinsu, Long Guan, Wang Zhenyi... You won't escape my wrath!" His words dripped with icy resolve.

Lightning lashed across the sky, as if in response to his vow.

"Soon, the world will metamorphose, Reiki will surge in abundance, and the era of the great disaster will dawn... I must steel myself before that time arrives!"

With unyielding determination and fervor ablaze within him, he stormed out of his abode, immersing himself in relentless, unforgiving training.

----------

Time slipped away, and the moon's glow faded, yielding to the invigorating morning sunlight.

Upstairs, within a bedroom, Long Tian slowly opened his eyes. The first sensation that greeted him was the warmth enveloping his body.

He glanced to his side and found Li Yue'er still nestled in sleep, her arms encircling him.

He turned to face her, his gaze softening as he caressed her cheek.

The previous night had been intense; its memory lingered vividly in his mind.

Yet, he remained astounded by the turn of events.

At first, he considered Li Yue'er merely a stepping stone in his mission to kill Qin Chen. But in reality, Li Yue'er possessed untapped potential and nos, she lay beside him, as his woman.

At this moment, Li Yue'er's eyes fluttered open, met by the sight of Long Tian's handsome features.

"Good morning, Long Tian," she greeted, a smile gracing her lips.

"Good morning, Yue'er. Are you still weary?" Long Tian inquired.

"No, I believe it's time to rise. It's already 6 in the morning," Li Yue'er replied, her eyes tracing the wall clock.

Long Tian nodded, and they both sat up, not immediately leaving the bed.

"Care for a shared shower?" Long Tian suggested, a sly grin playing on his lips.

A seductive smile curved Li Yue'er's mouth. "Aren't you exhausted after all that?" she teased.

"Not with an angel with me," Long Tian grinned, swiftly lifting Li Yue'er and carrying her toward the bathroom.

Once more, the passionate moans filled the bathroom...

---------

The sun rose slowly, marking the passage of time. It was now 7:49 AM; the school bell would chime any minute.

Vrooom!

The sound of a car engine echoed through the school grounds as Liu Qian emerged from her car.

"Should I just pick you up directly?" Liu Hai inquired.

"Of course, why do you even need to ask?" Liu Qian retorted.

"Well, you are Long Tian's girlfriend. I thought you two might go out together," Liu Hai explained.

Hearing this, Liu Qian felt a tinge of pressure. Ever since she had told her parents that Long Tian was her boyfriend, she had been bombarded with personal questions.

"I'm not sure, I'll text you later," she replied.

"Okay," Liu Hai nodded.

With that, he drove away from the school premises. Seeing her father leave, Liu Qian made her way into the school.
