Chapter 128 New Mission in the New World

Leo was shocked by the strength of the cub; however, when he remembered it was a grade 1 world, he was not shocked anymore.

‘Since it is a native of this world, it has talents; however, it also has the skills.’

Leo frowned because it was his first time seeing someone with Talents and Skills other than himself.

The basic information of the grade 1 beast world is successfully transmitted to the host.

Suddenly, he received a system notification and felt his head was filled with some foreign knowledge.

‘So, this world has four regions and each region is ruled by one besital race.’

Leo stopped thinking about the Flaming Lion cub and checked the information about this world in his head.

According to that information, this world’s name is Beastnet, and it has four regions. They are Ababdoned sea, Embered fields, Zephyr mountains and Evergreen grasslands.

Other than these four regions, there is a vast wilderness filled with wild monsters that came through the otherworldly portals, made their settlements and waited for an opportunity to take over the world.

‘Looks like it is similar to the human world except for the fact they survive the grade 1 world assessment.’

Leo compared the human and beast worlds and found many similarities.

In the place of cities, this world has regions, and in the place of humans, this world is ruled by the four beast races.

‘Also, time runs faster in this world compared to the human world.’

Another interesting thing he learned about this world was time runs faster.

One day in the human world is three days in the Beastnet which means Leo can stay in this world for 21 days.

‘Anyway, I should get out of here first and explore this world.’

After going through the information in his head, Leo got a rough understanding of the world; however, it was not enough for him to survive because the information didn’t contain the strength or what type of beast races were ruling this world.

So, he decided to explore this world and learn more about it.

‘Swoosh’

With a thought, Leo disappeared from the cage and reappeared outside the cage.

‘At least one of the four races is Flaming Lions.’

Looking at the lion cub, Leo silently thought in his head.

‘Pur’

Seeing Leo come out of the cage, the lion cub purred at him as though it was asking him to help it.

“Since you are the first beast I met in this world, I will help you.”

Even though Leo didn’t know whether the lion cub would understand his words or not, he still said those words before helping it come out of the cage.

Nevertheless, even if it was not the first beast he met in this world, Leo would still free the cub because he hated to see someone in the cage as it reminded him of his cruel past.

“Thank you, Human.”

As soon as the lion cub came out of the cage, it thanked Leo.

“What? You can speak?”

Leo was surprised to hear a little boy’s voice and asked the cub.

“Of course. Generally, the flaming lions can’t speak until one year; however, I am an exception as I can speak just one month after I was born. Currently, I am two months old.”

The cub was proud and said it was a special flaming lion.

“Oh.”

Leo was surprised to learn that the cub was only two months old but already a rank 6 beast; however, he remained calm and nodded.

“Human, you look strong. If you can safely take me back to my father, I will repay you with generous rewards.”

After hesitating, the flaming lion cub proposed a deal and hoped that Leo would agree.

A new mission is generated.

Mission Name: Heir of the Flaming Lion Race.

Mission Objective: Protect and safely guide the only heir of the flaming lion to his home.

Mission Reward: A fragment of the God stone.

Note: Depending on how friendly the host can become with the lion cub, the host will be rewarded with additional rewards.

Mission Details: Among the four bestial races that rule this world, only the Flaming Lion race was lucky enough to produce an heir with their ancestor’s bloodline. Even though it was yet to be awakened, it won’t be long before that heir awakens the bloodline. The day he awakens it, the remaining three races have to accept him as the sole ruler of the Beastnet. However, they didn’t want such a thing to happen. Therefore, the three races planned together and kidnapped the lion cub.

Danger rating: Once the host accepts the mission, he will become the enemy of the three bestial races of the Beastnet.

The system didn’t wait for Leo to open the mission tab and directly showed the complete details of the mission.

‘Fragment of the God stone and even additional rewards?’

Even though the rewards were tempting, Leo didn’t accept the mission without checking the remaining details.

‘So, he is special because of his bloodline and he could become the ruler of this world.’

Leo understood the situation of the lion cub and muttered, ‘I will accept the mission.’
