Chapter 311 [Bonus Chapter] Orb of Silence

“Sir, are you coming with us?”

Wilson was surprised that the Talent Swallowing Hero would be coming with him and his subordinates.

“There is no need to bring your subordinates. Two of us are enough.”

Leo nodded as he asked Wilson, “Instead, ask your subordinates to guard the city gate. I don’t want anyone from the ‘Order of the Black Tower’ to escape with their lives.”

Since his [Talent Swallowing Ability] has been reset for a while, Leo was in a hurry to swallow a talent.

He already had laid his eyes on a talent. So, he decided to go with Wilson and pay a visit to the Branch Leader.

“Yes, Sir.”

Wilson always wanted to see the Talent Swallowing Hero in action. So, he was excited and hurriedly informed his loyal army to guard the city gates tightly.

Each city leader has their own loyal army that was trained and nurtured by the city leader personally. Of course, unlike Leo, these city leaders could not tell whether they were absolutely loyal to them or not.

The Branch Leader laughed out loud as he ordered his servant to take care of Wilson.

The old servant was a level 3 supreme-ranked hero whereas Wilson was only a level 1 supreme-ranked hero. So, the Branch Leader didn’t bother to pay much attention to Wilson as he poured a drink for himself.

“He entered my mansion like a bigshot with his pitiful strength. He died in a single strike from my servant.”

The Branch Leader was focused on pouring a drink for himself as he heard a body falling to the ground.

Since he was confident in his servant, the Branch Leader thought his old servant had successfully killed the City Leader Wilson.

“Old man, do you want a….”

Turning his head, the Branch Leader saw his old servant lying in a pool of blood with his eyes wide open.

“How did…you…Talent Swallowing Hero…why? How?”

The Branch Leader was shocked to see the corpse of his old servant and raised his head to look at Wilson beside Wilson, he saw Leo, who was holding a huge black-coloured battle-axe.

As soon as he saw the Talent Swallowing Hero, the Branch Leader’s heart dropped and his mind fell into chaos.

‘What should I do?’

‘He killed the old man in a single strike. I am definitely not a match for him.’

‘Damn it…the two supreme heroes sent by the headquarters would only reach the city by tomorrow.’

‘What’s the use if I am not alive? If I am not alive, it will be the end of the [Supreme Market] in Starlight City.’

On the other hand, Leo turned the old servant’s corpse into undead; however, he didn’t have any plans to give sentience to it.

Leo preferred to give sentience to those undead beings that have the potential to reach Legend rank or beyond that.

The old man had already hit his limits when he was alive and after becoming undead, his potential would be worse.

“What? You have a [Necromancer] talent?”

Both Wilson and the Branch Leader were shocked to see a new talent of the Talent Swallowing Hero; however, when they recalled his name, they were no longer shocked.

“I wanted to have a good chat with you; however, because of the upcoming world assessment, I am quite busy.”

Leo disappeared from his place and appeared beside the Branch Leader.

Before the Branch Leader could come out of his thoughts, Leo dealt a deadly blow to him.

‘Let’s swallow his talent.’

Leo thought about swallowing the Branch Leader’s talent and soon, he received a system notification.

1) Orb of Silence: A orb will be summoned by the user that absorbs all the noises within a limited range and turns that limited range completely silent.

2) Advanced Wind Bullets: Summons limited invisible wind bullets depending on the level of the talent.

Without thinking much, Leo selected the first talent.

Leo already has a wide range of attack-type talents and moreover, he also has the talent [Wind Manipulation]. If he uses that talent repeatedly, he could create the wind bullets with any extra talent.

‘Also, the first talent is perfect for assassination. Even if I don’t use it personally, I can give it to my followers.’

Even though talents like [Orb of Silence] were not special, they were as rare as the special talents. So, Leo didn’t think much about it as he knew he might not find this talent again.

Extracting and condensing the talent [Orb of Silence] in a talent awakening crystal. Please wait.

Leo didn’t wait for much longer as a colourless crystal appeared above the branch leader’s corpse that started disappearing.

Unlike the talent awakening crystals that Leo receives from the [Absolute Devour], he still could not trade the talent awakening crystals from the [Talent Swallowing Ability].

So, he didn’t bother to store it in the storage ring; instead, he swallowed it directly.

The host awakened a new talent [Orb of Silence]. Please upgrade it.

‘I am not going to waste my [Promote Points] on the talent that I will be blessing it away.’

However, Leo didn’t bother to upgrade it; instead, he turned his head to Wilson, “Go and start the massacre. Don’t let anyone escape from this building.”

It was Wilson’s first time watching Leo swallow a talent and felt a little scared; however, he thought, ‘I don’t think he will kill me since he already gave me a talent..wait for a second…that talent awakening crystal…did he retrieve it from someone!’

When he thought about it, Wilson felt a little weird; however, he stopped thinking about it and focused on clearing the entire manor.

“Not bad. He is much richer than Mr. White.”

As for Leo, after swallowing the talent, he took the storage ring of the Branch Leader and the old servant.

‘Ding,

+50 million Hero coins added to the host’s storage ring.

‘I wonder whether I will get another 50 million Hero coins in the [Supreme Market].’

Wilson already cleared the entire manor and after that, Leo and Wilson entered the [Supreme Market] that was filled with masked customers.
