Chapter 201 - Sanji's test

Sanji: well it's good to meet all of you.;.I know it's a little strange having a first-year be ahead of you but senpai's please take care of me

Momo ignores him and was looking at cute food she made earlier

Somei glances at Sanji and then closes his eyes again

Sanji started to have a vein in his head

Kuga: Now now, you know he doesn't want to be told that he was let win by a guy who was known to hate Shokugeki's so of course. He still beat him right so all let's welcome the temp 3rd seat

Sanji lips started to twitch and he was starting to get pissed off

Isshiki stands up to calm Sanji down: Hey no worries he is a great chef!

Nene: really are you just saying that because he is your kohai in your dorms

Eishi Tsukasa: why not check his cooking out then

Rindo claps her hand excitedly: Yeah, cook for us

Sanji: Sure

Sanji puts on his Bandana and enters his cooking mode

Erina looks at Rindo and asks: so what is Sanji's cooking style

Rindo: what you don't know? I thought you were close

Erina: who wants to be close to him.

Rindo smirks: He cooks western-style food. but he likes cooking deserts and specialty is actually tea and coffee drinks

Momo seemed intrigued and felt challenged when she mentioned deserts

Isshiki: so what dish are you making?

Sanji: Steak sandwich

*Sanji POV*

First, to make the best Steak sandwich it has to be Fillet

Now season it beautiful. I like to open up the top of the pepper mill to increase size in the pepper in the steak so it gives that bitter heat nice little chunks

then you just roll all-around to have it go all around it

Then you take garlic and slice it in half

Make the pan nice and hot and pour olive oil in

Then hold the steak and place it in the pan, (Not dropping it)

At the front of the pan, we have to tilt the pan forward to cook the back of the steak for duel purpose

now roll it back and stare it underneath.

Next the garlic and roast that garlic, thyme, fry that thy I want to hear it.

were not looking for a lot of colors because your going to dry out the fillet

So get one end (lift one end with tongs) turn it back down and sear the other end

lift up the tyme and place it on top of the garlic

Then lift up the fillet and place it on top of the garlic

butter in the pan then take a spoon and tilt the pan gently lift up the butter and base

Then you got that scented garlic crying flavor

The steak is going to evenly because it sat in the middle a little

cook it in the oven for 8-10 minutes

Then put another pan on for the relish, normally you think of nice heated tomato relish for your steak sandwich

To make the relish you finely dice a red onion with a finger with the one-finger rule. One in front two behind. Through the middle and chop.

Next ruffly chop your chili, keeping your seeds in for extra heat

Add olive oil to the pan and add the onions and chili

generally, for the olive oil, you want a nice sort of rich silky relish

from there take your tomatoes

you cant just use red tomatoes you got to use yellow and red to make the perfect combination

now a touch of salt in and then roast those tomatoes

Take a wooden spoon and sort of break them up.

Once the skin is blister, the whole tomato begins to release all that nice sweet texture

get a teaspoon of vinegar, which gives that nice acidic balance and sweetness of the tomatoes

turn it down and let them stew

Now a steak sandwich will not be complete unless it had the most amazing mayonnaise

Simply add three teaspoons of Mayonnaise to teaspoons of wholegrain mustard

by now the relish is down to a nice jam but you want to make it a little more fragrant

grab some basil and slice it through and sprinkle that and stir it together

place it in a bowl

the steak should be done so take it out of the oven and

using a tong place it in a plate (middle)

then base one more time the fillet

the touch should be quite soft in the center

it should be coming to a mid-rare let it rest the same time you let it cook to.

it is nice and pink evenly throughout the steak

To make my sandwich I'm going char grill some g patter bread. season it nicely(salt and pepper)

add just a drizzle of olive oil. you want to get that bread nice and crispy

pan nice and hot

bread in pushes it down. the smell is amazing a nice char sort of charcoal flavor

you got those marks on the bread which stops the bread from becoming soggy

you take the stunning fillet and place it on cutting board and slice it gently

it should be nice and pink all the way through

the beef is nice and soft which should be like cutting through butter

take the bread and using a spoon of mayonnaise and spread it backward

next lettuce, take that beautiful slice of beef and relish on top of that beef then slice that sandwich in half

Isshiki had headed back to the dorms learning that they were about to select the next people for the Tōtsuki Autumn Election and the next day they would be selecting it...

Erina had to take care of some things and Rindo dragged Sanji somewhere...

Everyone one of the elite 10 remainings who had never had Sanji cooking before were frozen after eating his food...They realized they greatly underestimated this young chef...

Kugo: (it was good...that wasn't his specialty either...he may even be as good of chef as...)

sweat dropped from his face

Eizan: (I have to have my men investigate him...to cook this good there is no way he isn't famous...I'll ask Kobayashi-senpai about him later..also see how I can get him under me...)

Nene: (that bastard...who would have thought someone other than a Nakiri clan member could do the blessing (making people strip clothes) He even laughed when he saw my body...I'll make sure to pound some respect into him)

Saitō: ( the boy seems to be a warrior...now that I think about it he seemed to have a katana by his side...his cooking...I never felt such passion from food...he probably is the most passionate chef...hmm I would love to try his tea)

Momo: (at first I thought he was cute but ...then hears there's paperwork tomorrow and runs away stupid turtle)

Tsukasa: ( I...I was originally going to have a battle with him, however, Rindo told me it's better I don't so I didn't...It would be a close call but I think I should be able to cook better than him...right?)

Sanji cooking had left a great impact on the Elite 10 but there is one thing that was known...Sanji is 100% worthy of being in the elite 10...

Side note because Sanji cooking had made the girls strip they swore they would push a lot of tedious work to Sanji using their status as Senpai as an excuse...
