Jun-Kyung didn’t know. He thinks he’s heard of it. He remembers hearing at a drinking party in the past that his senior wife couldn’t take caffeine during her pregnancy, so she had withdrawal symptoms. She even started hating her husband because she couldn’t drink coffee. Jun-Kyung didn’t think that was gonna be him.

“Don’t you remember the precautions you heard at the hospital?”

All precautions were taken by Executive Director Min. Junkyung was just wiping the cold ultrasound gel and putting on his clothes.

He has not been able to ask the doctor anything because he was responding to the threats disguised as negotiations by Director Min. After that, he was blank for about 2 weeks so he was ignorant about his own condition. Indeed, ignorance is a sin.

“It’s not mine. I am doing it for you”.

He acted in a timely manner to avoid being reprimanded. He felt Director Min’s suspicious eyes bent like a missile and stabbed at Junkyung.

“Then three shots please.”

“Yep.”

He goes through the waves day by day and lives like this. He feels proud of himself. He quickly rolled up an Americano and served it with bottled water.

“Thank you”.

Maybe he really needed coffee because Director Min’s expressionless face was a bit soft. The dark water of life floated in ice passed between his cynical lips.

The thick neck, protruding from the collar of the buttoned shirt, twitched. When his Adam’s apple roses like an alpha male, Jun-kyung also reflexively swallowed his saliva.

I want to drink. Ah, I want to drink so bad.

Some people must have great mental power.

How could he be satisfied with seeing something so delicious without putting it in his mouth? Coffee can’t be compared with fresh mineral water.

Were his eyes so desperate?

Executive Director Min finished the coffee at once and immediately put it away. Then, he comforted Jun-kyung.

“Even if you want to drink, just hold it for another half year.”

“Yeah”.

Despair had just begun. Half a year The tears he didn’t shed when he got the notice of pregnancy were about to come out. Damn it.

Executive Director Min decided to go to work and come back later to pick Jun-Kyung up. He left various instructions before leaving. Since then, Jun-Kyung’s feet have not moved even though he was alone for three or four hours.

“Use room service for meals. The hotel will take special care. Tea and coffee are not allowed. Swimming is also prohibited. If you need anything outside, bodyguards will take care of it. Wait for me as much as you can”.

The bodyguard Director Min introduced was the senior who brought Jun-Kyung to the hotel before. As he nodded his head, the senior bowed his back very politely. Jun-Kyung was about to die of discomfort. It’s better to not leave the hotel or not even step out of the room.

During the two-day stay, all the staff in the room, who were barely visible except for meals, were all waiting.

As a bodyguard, Jun-Kyung was in charge of guarding the upper class children who dreamed of escaping, saying that the duties and responsibilities are heavy and the environment is stuffy. It was frustrating to be in the same situation.

They listened to Executive Director Min and even checked when going to the bathroom. Normally, he would have said that he’s not a child and that there is no need to do this, but the swimming pool incident made his mouth heavy.

“I’ll rest while watching TV in my bedroom. Have a good time everyone.”

In the movie, there is a scene where the protagonist pretends to sleep, tears the blanket to make a rope, and then escapes through the window.

While the camera follows the main character enjoying freedom, behind the scenes, the bodyguard and the staff will be tormented, pondering how to rescue themselves from the situation. It is hard to cause such a nuisance in a situation where they know each other.

Jun-kyung calmly climbed into bed and turned on the TV. In fact, he wasn’t very interested in TV, so he started searching on his phone.

It was truly a terrifying search term. In fact, it took an extraordinary effort to press the search button even after entering it in the search box.

He lay down on her right side, then shifted back to the left. He was clearly in a relaxed state, but strangely, his heart was beating faster and faster. It was like when he reached the final of a provincial competition when he was in high school. Suddenly, a ridiculous thing came out of nowhere.

“No, what is this?”

Jumping up, he clicked the search button. The fast internet had results before even throwing the cell phone. He thinks it’s okay to give some room to regret sometimes.

With a short breath, his thumb swung up the scroll fast. He had never learned to read fast. After all, he was a judo prospect. He lived a life far away from books before entering the security department and learning liberal arts and English.

The reason he increased the scrolling speed is simply because he doesn’t have the confidence to read it clearly.

As he was flipping through it, he entered a blog. The site captures the same cautions as those that he heard in the ultrasound room and various precautions were kindly provided. Alcohol, smoking, and drugs were prohibited.

“It’s tougher than doping.”

A sigh came out. What did he expect when he had no caffeine? Exercise was, of course, forbidden. There was a reason why Executive Director Min said yesterday to play in the water instead of swimming.

Miscarriages can happen. Worse, there is also a high chance that a child with physical deformities or mental retardation will be born.

In many cases, newborns have the autism spectrum because of alcohol that was consumed without knowing about pregnancy.

“Have I drank since?”

Seriously, looking back over the past four months, he didn’t go to the drinking party at all because he was in a big mess because of an accident he had while drinking. He went to the bar once and got a drink but didn’t put it in his mouth. He just kept quietly lowering my head.

In the midst of a serious search here and there, the staff brought the meal to the bedroom. He gratefully accepted the meal and fell into the search again. He also watched the video. Executive Director Min’s eyes were not just terrified.

Once he has it, he wants to fulfill his responsibilities. Even if it is inevitable, if there is a miscarriage due to an unexpected accident or lack of physical conditions to maintain the pregnancy, it would not be intentional.

Jun-Kyung was born with a golden spoon as the son of the cafe’s owner but does nothing for society. Isn’t his life too futile?

‘Even if I can’t keep up with you, I will give birth and raise your child well’.

He can’t help it if an accident happens in the middle. Still, he’s not going to have an abortion on purpose.

Even if I can’t be listed in your family register, you will grow up well under the older brother. If you’re lucky, you might become the heir to the group later. Don’t you think?

In reality, Jun-Kyung knows that there is no way to appoint a child who is not biological as an heir. He doesn’t feel greedy.

Still, the baby will live as the child of a chaebol owner, being able to do whatever is desired. Of course, fishing is prohibited.

According to the blog, pregnant people’s duty is to be as lazy as possible. Don’t do anything, eat well, sleep well, and occasionally walk and stretch at a level that doesn’t put too much strain on the body.

Unlike the fear before the search, Jun-Kyung felt lighter after confirming that laziness was all the responsibility of Jun-kyung. He lay flat on his back and focused on breathing exercises. After eating an early lunch, he fell asleep.

***

It was past 4 pm. Director Min is back. The appointment was at 5, so he had to hurry. As Jun-Kyung crossed the hotel lobby, he saw a silver sedan. The steering wheel was taken by Executive Vice President Min. As soon as he sat in the passenger seat, Junkyung found a shopping bag lying in the back seat.

“It’s my first time to say hello, so I can’t go with my bare hands.”

Looking at his quick answers to unanswered questions, it was clear that Executive Director Min had a special ability to understand what was inside.

“That’s too much.”

“I have it sorted out in moderation.”

He can’t believe this is appropriately selected. Jun-Kyung doesn’t know what’s in the shopping bag, but based on the brand, he had a strong foreboding that what’s in it would be the same price range as the stuff in the suite room. A large square box wrapped in a soft cloth is definitely the finest fruit or Korean beef.

“Thank you for being thoughtful. But that’s too much. I don’t have to ability to give back what I received”.

“I didn’t prepare this to get back.”

“Even if you say so…”

“You will get more than this in the future, so what do I do if you are already feeling this pressured just from this?”

A car drove down a high hill in the middle and entered the city. Jun-kyung shut his mouth and stared straight ahead. It was difficult to manage his facial expressions.

‘Wow, you hit the lines of some drama without even blinking. It makes the hearts of the common people tremble’.

He should have known from the moment Director Min popped out a black card.

Jun-Kyung didn’t think it’d be this sexy to say ‘Take whatever you want’.

Since he was born as a man in a capitalist society, he has to try those wonderful lines at least once before he dies. For now, he’ll just have to be content with hearing it.

Executive Director Min, who possesses driving skills comparable to that of a bodyguard, stepped on the brake so delicately that he could not feel the acceleration or deceleration at all.

What can’t he do? No matter where he glance, the person next to him has a manly appearance.

Far from being a slick man, Director Min is a cool and cold handsome man. The best body any man can look up to. With such physical condition, it would not be just a dream to become a top professional player with an annual salary of over 100 billion won (usd 75 millions).

It’s such a waste.

‘Why do you work out when you have hundreds of billions of personal wealth?’
