Caspar was still trying to call Finland as he looked for her on the 20th floor. His phone calls were not picked up, but Caspar was not worried at all. His heart was still overflowing with happiness because he finally received what he had always been craving for: Finland being jealous and irrational.
He remembered that it was very difficult to open Finland's heart to love, and even after they were together, he still felt that the girl was protecting her feelings from him.
Only once had Finland shown jealousy at him, and that was when he had teased her using Famke. At that time, Finland was furious because Caspar seemed to deliberately want to make her cry, and since then Caspar had never repeated his actions.
After that, Finland returned to being an aloof person who was not expressive with her feelings, especially after they separated for years.
Caspar felt that between the two of them, he had the bigger love and he was always the one being hopelessly in love, while Finland, who then chose Jean over him and then spent two years with Lauriel, didn't love him as much as he loved her.
Finland was surrounded by amazing men who fall in love with her, like Jean and Lauriel and that made Caspar feel so jealous. Unfortunately, he could only suffer alone because the girl was never jealous of him. Finland was very calculating and rational and never showed unnecessary emotions.
While, in all honestly, Caspar really wanted her to feel jealous. How adorable it must be, he thought.
He no longer dared to deliberately make Finland jealous. He secretly hoped that Finland would be annoyed and possessive when she started working in his office, because there were so many women there who openly admired him.
Unfortunately, Finland always stayed rational and calm. She seemed to like her work more than her husband. Until now…
Caspar had no idea that Sophia's arrival today would make his wife so jealous and angry.
Ah... maybe the timing was indeed very fitting. Finland was sensitive because of her pregnancy, then came a beautiful and sexy woman whom she didn't like,... that combination must have filled her heart with rage.
Caspar was still smiling very sweetly. He was still overjoyed with his wife's jealousy when he got out of the elevator on the 20th floor. He immediately entered the large office space where the Market Research department was located.
Many employees in the room automatically stood up and looked at him in surprise. The big boss almost never came to this floor, so his sudden presence there surprised everyone.
"Good afternoon, Sir. What on earth made you come here?" asked James Glass, the Manager of the Market Research Department as he approached Caspar.
"Good afternoon, I'm looking for Miss Finland Makela. Is she back yet?" Caspar asked, glancing around. He saw Finland's bag lying on a desk and immediately walked over. "Is this her desk?"
"Eh... yes. What's up, why are you looking for her?" James asked again, curious, but trying not to pushy. "Finland had lunch with Ruth. I can go to the 30th floor to call them. Uh... that is Ruth, she just came in."
Ruth, who just came back after lunch, quickly approached them when her name was called. Her face looked confused, but her eyes seemed to glow for the opportunity to meet their boss in close vicinity. He rarely appeared in public, so every meeting was special.
"What's the matter, Sir?" she asked.
"Mr. Schneider is looking for Finland... Was she with you?" James asked quickly.
"Oh... yes, she was. But then she asked for permission to go up to the 35th floor. Do you need her? Did you not meet her upstairs?"
"Hmm... okay, thank you..." Caspar left quickly.
Finland might be too emotional to return to her office, so she went somewhere else to calm down. He knew that she was still in the office because her bag was on her desk, which meant that she probably went to the lounge on the 30th floor.
Finally, with long strides, Caspar returned to the elevator and went up to the 30th floor.
Meanwhile, the Market Research department instantly freaked out after Caspar left their office. Everyone was busy guessing why their big boss was looking for Finland so suddenly.
Ruth frowned and remembered that Finland suddenly asked for access to the 35th floor after she heard that Mr. Schneider had a meeting with the beautiful CEO of the Meier Group. She remembered seeing Finland's face looking both jealous and furious.
Was she and Mr Schneider...?
Jeez... Ruth shook her head and took a deep breath as the thought came to mind. She looked at Finland's desk with a pale face.
