Chapter 206: Zhou Yun!

"Come in, the door's not closed."

Ling Feng raised an eyebrow, identifying from the voice a female visitor who was here for Zhou Kai—probably his sister.

Moments later, a girl entered the courtyard, her demeanor timid and her gaze downward.

Ouyang Jing, practicing his swordsmanship nearby, dropped it with a clang upon seeing her.

She appeared innocent. While not too stunning, she was pleasant with delicate features radiating purity.

"Where's Zhou Kai?" Her eyes swept the courtyard, failing to find him. Biting her lip, she frowned in concern.

Raising her head slightly, she looked at the trio before her and asked softly, "Excuse me, do you know where Zhou Kai went?"

"He's at the sword fighting arena," Ling Feng replied, noticing Ouyang Jing's stunned silence.

"I just came from there. My brother fought with He Zhonglei from the West Court, knocking out his front teeth. He wants revenge, so I came to advise my brother not to roam alone," she explained, her brows knitting in worry.

"I know He Zhonglei's brother is a sky-tier student, and their family holds sway in the imperial capital. I fear for my brother's safety..."

Ling Feng rubbed his nose, recognizing her as Zhou Kai's sister.

Zhou Kai was a bear of a man, yet his sister was delicate and lovely.

As Ling Feng was about to respond, a loud bang echoed as the courtyard door was violently kicked open. Reacting swiftly, Ling Feng pulled the girl away from the falling door, narrowly avoiding injury.

"Damn it, where's Zhou Kai? Where's that bastard?"

Four menacing figures followed a young man with a sharp face into the courtyard.

Their leader, missing two front teeth, spoke with a slurred voice.

It was evident that this was He Zhonglei, the West Court student mentioned by Zhou Kai's sister.

As He Zhonglei barged in, he cursed loudly, yelling, "Where's Zhou Kai? You have the guts to knock out my damn teeth but not to face me?"

He Zhonglei suddenly felt a chill running down his neck, freezing him in place.

The next moment, he was horrified to find a gleaming sword pressed against his neck. It was the same fine iron longsword that Ouyang Jing had dropped earlier.

Gulp...

He Zhonglei swallowed hard. The guy he had completely disregarded dared to make a move in front of everyone? This was Tianwei Academy! Did he dare to kill someone here?

Inside Tianwei Academy, private fights were strictly prohibited, let alone students killing each other. Unless they signed a consent form in the sword fighting arena, the punishment for such an act was extremely severe.

"W-What do you want?"

He Zhonglei's arrogance instantly wilted, and his lackeys accompanying him were stunned into silence.

"Whistle away, keep whistling!" Ling Feng's eyes flashed with a cold glint. "What's wrong? Isn't it a nice tune?"

He Zhonglei's mouth twitched, realizing his life was in the hands of the other party. He dared not act recklessly, sweat breaking out on his forehead. He gritted his teeth, "Who are you? I advise you not to mess around!"

"Mess around?" Ling Feng's sword scraped against He Zhonglei's neck, sending shivers down his spine.

"If you have the guts, don't you dare sneak attack!" He Zhonglei clenched his fists tightly and gritted his teeth. "Tomorrow at noon, our West Court will challenge your East Court to a group sword fight. If you're brave enough, step onto the fighting platform. We of the West Court will destroy all of you East Court trash!"

Ling Feng saw that He Zhonglei had no intention of making a move anymore, so he casually pushed him aside, wearing a nonchalant expression. "I'm ready any time!"

Seeing He Zhonglei being let go, his lackeys drew their weapons one by one, ready to attack. "Damn it, you dare lay a hand on our boss!"

"Put them away!"

He Zhonglei turned back to glare at his lackeys, then turned his gaze sharply on Ling Feng. "Alright, kid. You're daring. I'll remember you!"

With that said, He Zhonglei led his group of lackeys away and left.

At least he kept his word.
