Chapter 63

As Tanaga's private elevator doors opened, he got tongue-tied and surprised to see Ashley in front of him carrying a shopping bag.  When Ashley noticed Tanaga's surly face, she got more worried...

"Are you going somewhere?" Ashley asked the still-shocked Tanaga with his wrinkled forehead while staring at Ashley as if he saw an apparition. 

"Huh?! What did you say if I am going somewhere?  No-no-no!..."Tanaga was fl.u.s.tered and didn't know what to say while he pulled Ashley into the elevator.  He quickly pressed the button to go to the penthouse.

As soon as the elevator doors closed, Tanaga hugged Ashley tightly.  With brimming tears, he whispered to his wife, "Don't you dare do that again! You almost gave me a heart attack when I can't find you in the room.  I thought...Oh, God! I don't know anymore what to think. But I'm glad I was wrong. Hahaha!" He kissed his wife on the lips as if it was their last moment on earth.

Meanwhile, Ashley was speechless with what's going on, and when her husband kissed her, she was not able to control herself, and she kissed her husband back.  As their kiss deepened, the doors of the elevators suddenly opened. "Ding!" The couple was forced to stop what they were doing and stared at each other as if the eyes were challenging each other…-let's go and do the twist.

Tanaga was ready to carry Ashley back to their room when suddenly "Ting!" A text message arrived on Tanaga's phone. He had no choice but to stop what he intends to do and check his cellphone.  He had a feeling that the message came from Ashley's family. His suspicion was right, and it was Ashley's mother. 

"It's from your mom!" Tanaga passed the message to Ashley.

AlingFely: [Sir, boss! If you are still busy… it's ok! Please tell my daughter that we will just wait for her here.  Thank you!"]

Instead of texting back, Ashley decided to call her mom. "Bzzzz, bzzz." When Aling Fely answered, Ashley, put it in speakerphone mode while walking with Tanaga back to the room.

"Mom! I'm so sorry.  We are just finishing some business here.  Please wait for a while, and we'll be right there as soon as possible." Ashley happily told her mom while looking at her husband.

"Oh, my daughter… don't worry about us.  We will wait until you are done with what you are supposed to do.  If it's ok, can we look around the hotel since it's so beautiful? We will just take pictures while waiting. Ok!"

When Tanaga heard that Ashley's mom said they would take some pictures first, his worries that they will get bored if they take some more time disappeared.  Therefore, he quickly nodded to Ashley to say that it was ok to take some pictures.

"Of course, mom!  It's ok. I'll just text or call you when we are on our way down.  Bye, mom….love you!" Fely was not yet able to answer back when Tanaga carried her straight to bed without any hesitation.

As soon as Tanaga laid Ashley on the bed, he got his phone to call his butler to give instructions on what to do.

"Go to them and give them a tour of the hotel.  Then, bring them to the restaurant afterward and treat them to some food while we are not yet there.  You already know what to do. Do you understand?!"   

"Yes, boss! Do not worry.  I'll take care of the family ma'am's family.  I'll make sure that they are taken care of.  Take your time!" The butler happily answered while hanging up the phone...
