Chapter 245 - I Can Cook, or Maybe Not!

"Mr. Assistant manager, I would greatly appreciate it if we could be on our way already, please… Let's go now, and I don't want to lose my job. Don't you know our boss when he's in a bad mood? He forgives nothing. So, let's go! Take me to the Penthouse!" Exclaim Sato as he went first, without any idea where to go.

The assistant manager could only shake his head as he ran after Sato. He was afraid that if he doesn't accompany him, he might end getting lost instead.

"Sir, excuse me! Wait up! It's this way, the elevator is just up ahead, and it would take you straight to the Penthouse where you wanted to go." The assistant manager still shaking his head, holding his laughter from the way Sato was walking like a runway model.

Sato didn't care what people think, and he wanted to flaunt his assets, which was his foundation. He continued walking like a runway model until he reached the elevator area. "Oh,' thank Jesus! I pray the boss man doesn't skin me alive." He mumbles.

"Sir, I will go ahead and leave you from here. I don't want to face the boss either. Good luck!" The assistant manager was quick to retreat. 

"Thank you!" Was all Sato said as he waited for the elevator to come down. He doesn't mind waiting, and the important thing is that he makes it where his boss is before he gets sent back from Japan. 

Just as the elevator door opened, the assistant manager came back and entered. "I'm sorry! I tried to avoid meeting our boss, but I'm afraid that I might get in trouble if I don't go and greet them. Hehe!"

Sato only raised his eyebrow looked at the assistant manager without uttering a word.

When Sato and the assistant manager arrived at the Penthouse, Tanaga's two bodyguards were already standing guard outside the closed door.

When they saw Sato walking like a runway model, they just shook their heads and think nothing of it. They had long known that he's gay. However, in Japan, Sato was always discreet about his gender, especially in the office. 

"Hello, guys! How long have you been here?" Greeted Sato with a sweet smile showing his pearly white teeth.

The two bodyguards only nodded and opened the door so that Sato can enter the room. 

However, the assistant manager doesn't know if he'll follow or not? He's afraid of who's inside the Penthouse.

He thought of going back to the office first and calling the G.M. Arman Gusman. However, when Sato saw that he's about to turn around and leave... He quickly calls him.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going? Come back, and let's face the demon together. It was your fault that I was delayed, you know. Please." Sato pleaded to the assistant manager, who wasn't able to say no and followed along.

However, to there shock, there was no one in the living room when they entered. Even Tiny is not there. 

"Hmmm, where are they?" Sato said while looking at the closed doors of the room.

"How many rooms are here in this penthouse?" Sato asked as he surveys the whole place.

"There are four rooms, but there are three more rooms for the bodyguards and maid that is with our boss." The assistant manager calmly said. 

"Oh! So I'm not going to stay here. Let's go and bring me to the room of the maids." Sato said, smiling while they're ready to leave without even looking for the couple. 

Just as they were about to leave, Tanaga and Ashley came out of the master bedroom. 

"Sato! Where do you think you're going? I've been calling you for some time, why did you just arrive now?" Tanaga asked loudly while Ashley was holding his arms, trying to stop him.

"Sir Jones! I'm sorry! I went to the front desk first to get the key to the Penthouse. I didn't know that you don't need the key." Sato said while standing like a real man. 

The assistant manager took the opportunity and greeted the couple.

"Good day, sir Jones! Ma'am! Welcome to the Philippines!" Then bend down to give respect to the boss. 

"And who are you?" Tanaga asked arrogantly while his face is almost unpaintable. 

"Tan, please! Don't scare your employee. Okay! You'll give them a heart attack on what you're doing! And why are you shouting?" Ashley whispered to Tanaga that looks angry. 

" Who's not going to be cranky, why didn't I think to tell the butler to come here before we arrive so all could be fine. And now, my stomach is grumbling. We don't even have a chef to cook our food. " Tanaga said in a calmer tone. 

" Hahaha! Hahaha! That's why you're cranky, its because we don't have a chef to cook for us and you're hungry? Oh, my God! What do you think of your wife, she didn't know how to cook? Sweetheart! When it comes to cooking, I'm a professional!" Ashley boasts before pulling her husband towards the kitchen.

Sato and the assistant manager were watching the couple on how Ashley tamed Tanaga in only one speech.

"Sir, can I ask something? Is ma'am the wife or just a girlfriend? I'm only curious because as far as I know, our boss is still single?" Asked the assistant manager curiously.

Sato suddenly put his fingers to man's lips. Before, "Shhh! If you don't want to lose your job… don't ever question their relationship, unless they're the one who tells you what their relationship is, do you understand?" Sato threatened the assistant manager. 

It's a good thing that Sato remembers to warned the assistant manager. Or else, he might inform Arman of he saw and it will reach Ashley's parents for sure.

"I think you should take care of what our boss needed. Call whoever you needed to call and get them over here pronto! They need a Chef, a couple of maids, and whatever else." Ordered Sato without batting an eye.

"You're right! I'll get to it right now before I end up getting head put on the chopping block. Hahaha! Thank you! I will see you later." Shouted the assistant manager as he quickly left to handle everything that Sato had said.

Tanaga followed Ashley to the kitchen without complaint, but he's really hungry and his stomach was growling loudly. Once they entered the kitchen, he stopped Ashley.

"Sweetheart! As much as I love you, I'm starving, and I can't wait for the food to be cooked. Please, let's go somewhere. Just make sure it has food, I'm really starving. Please!" He begs like a little child to his wife. 

Besides being a Lactose intolerant, Tanaga also has an ulcer because he's always stressed and starves. So now, if he's hungry, he needs to eat. 

Ashley pitied her husband and suddenly thought about her parent's home. She knows that her mother must have prepared a lot of food for her elder brother's homecoming. Her eyes shine like a bright star as she faced her husband.

"Tan, I just thought of a place where we can go and for sure there would be a load of food ready for you to eat. Let's go! Let's just eat at my parents'. I know my mother prepared a lot of food for my elder brother's homecoming. So' what are we waiting for, we were planning to visit them anyway. It's a good time as any, plus our baby is also hungry." 

Ashley grabs Tanaga's arm and ushered him out of the kitchen. Her face is filled with excitement, she's finally coming home to see her beloved family...
