Chapter 295 - I'm Her Husband!

Butler Ruffy made a way so that Tanaga could pay a visit without someone seeing them. He asked Tanaga to go to Grandma Hanada's room first, then Butler Ruffy told everyone to go home so that they could rest.

They didn't reject that because they were already exhausted and hungry. After a few minutes passed, everyone was on the way to their home.

Butler Ruffy immediately called Tanaga. "Sir, they all have left! You can now look at your sons. I'll be waiting for you in front of the nursery room," Butler Ruffy declared, his voice tinted with joy.

"Okay, I'm on my way now." He promptly went out of Grandma Hanada's room. Fortunately, no one was around so he arrived there without any complications.

The twins were already in front of the window to see their father to arrive. Tanaga arrived there and Butler Ruffy just left him there in front of the window.

Tanaga was just standing in front, appearing as though he was not looking at anything in particular. He didn't notice that tears started to form in his eyes.

It felt as though his sons knew that he was there and they both cried at the same time. The two nurses inside the room came to the twins and carried them to stop crying.

Tanaga called Butler Ruffy to come near him and whispered, "Can I carry my sons?" His voice trembled as he spoke.

"Yes! Wait and I'll ask the nurse." Then he waved his hand to one of the nurses to go outside. The nurse immediately went in front of the door and went outside.

"Sir, can I help you? Do you need something?" the nurse asked while looking at Tanaga.

"Yes, do you see the man over there? That's CEO Jones, he's my boss. He's also the father of those twins. He wanted to hold the babies, is that possible?" Butler Ruffy asked in a serious tone, his face saying that he wouldn't accept a 'no' answer.

"Of course! Let me get a couple of scrubs for him to put on. Then he can come inside and hold the twins," the nursery's head nurse said to Butler Ruffy, smiling.

After Butler Ruffy gave the disposable scrub for Tanaga, he quickly went to the nearest comfort room to wear it. In just a few moments, Tanaga was already carrying his twins.

Butler Ruffy quickly captured a photo of the three. As Tanaga was busy staring at his sons, he didn't even notice that Butler Ruffy captured a photo. The Butler then started a video recording.

After fifteen minutes, the head nurse approached Tanaga and told him that it's time to give milk to the babies. The twins that Tanaga was carrying were taken from him by the nurse.

When the kids were already taken by Tanaga, he swayed his arms because they stiffened. Even if it was just a day since his twins were born, they were already heavy, especially after he carried the two at the same time.

Tanaga was slightly exhausted when he left the room and came back to the glass partition to wave to his sons even though he knew that their eyes were still not open. "Bye, my twins. I will be visiting your mommy now."

While walking to the ICU, Tanaga was deeply reflecting and stressing out on what he would do. Now that he already saw his sons, his heart feels like being torn into pieces while his mind was saying not to be too soft.

Butler Ruffy and Tanaga were close to the ICU when they saw Ohani Yamaguchi and Kai Hanada coming out the door. The two quickly hid on the side so they could not be seen.

"Why is that woman here? And why is she with Kai? Isn't she in Hollywood with the man she exchanged for me?" Tanaga whispered as his eyes glazed over and his gaze followed the two towards the elevator.

Butler Ruffy didn't know how to answer Tanaga. He nearly forgot that he was not still fully recovered yet, but it seems that his memory progressed to the time Ohani Yamaguchi cheated on him.

"That's why he's so angry with women. He's still in the period of their break up. Oh God, be quick, and heal my boss. I might not be able to handle this anymore!" Butler Ruffy whispered to himself.

"They're gone!" Tanaga remarked, but still not moving to advance to ICU. Butler Ruffy felt nervous thinking that Tanaga might change his mind again.

"Sir, can we go now?" Butler Ruffy asked while he started walking first. "Sir! Are you coming?"

"Ha? Yeah! Just give me a second. I need to get my thoughts together." Then he sighed deeply.

In the end, they arrived at the nurse station of the ICU room to know where Ashley's room was. Tanaga stood silently while Butler Ruffy did the asking.

"Excuse me, we're here to visit Mrs. Jones. Could you tell us which room she is in, please?" Butler Ruffy asked the nurse on duty.

"Ah, Mrs. Jones? She was already transferred to her room a few minutes ago. Please wait and I'll look at what her room number is. Oh, by the way, who's the one asking? Because family is the only one allowed to go inside. It was an order from��" the nurse didn't finish what she was saying because the grumpy man spoke.

"I'm her husband, isn't that enough?" Tanaga declared with some annoyance. His face was enshadowed by darkness as he was growing impatient.

The nurse looked at Tanaga and looked at her computer screen. The records that Ashley said that she was already a widow and that her husband was already dead.

How could he be the husband of the lady? The nurse eyebrows rose up and looked straight at Tanaga.

"If you're her husband, may I take a look at your driver's license?" the nurse replied, her tone also growing with annoyance.

"What?" Tanaga retorted instantly.

"I said if you're really her 'dead' husband, can I take a look at your ID?" the nurse repeated the question with the addition of saying that Ashley's husband was already dead.

It became the reason for Tanaga and Butler Ruffy to look at each other. "Now, what?" Both asked each other in unison...
