Tanaga just nodded before pulling Ashley and hugged her. Because of the sudden change of events, Ashley didn't react quickly. When she tried to let go from Tanaga's arm on her waist, instead of loosening his grip, he tightened it more while caressing her shoulder.
"Driver, take us home to the condo!" he told the driver loudly.
"Yes sir!" Then the driver started the engine.
"Wait! Why're we going to the condo? I thought we're going to eat? Aren't you hungry?" Ashley asked while her face was buried in her husband's chest.
"Hmm, if you would ask me, I want to eat something," Tanaga whispered into her ears, which caused Ashley to blush. She quickly pinched his waist.
"Ouch! Hey! That's the second time!" Tanaga cried, which made Ashley worried that she angered him.
But Tanaga raised Ashley's head and slowly kissed her.
Because of that, Ashley's heart beat fast like there was a mustang racing in there.
"Hmm, this is what I want to taste," Tanaga whispered between their kisses, savoring the kiss.
The driver in front of them leaned on the rearview mirror and saw what the couple behind were doing. He smiled before stepping on the gas pedal so that they could arrive quickly to the said location.
Because the driver was out of the world and kept on looking at the rearview mirror, he didn't notice that the stop light was red. He still headed straight. Tanaga's bodyguard, who was sitting at the front, shouted, "WATCH OUT!!"
The car rotated three times until it landed on its roof.

Fortunately, the car was bulletproof, and the car glass wouldn't immediately break. Because Tanaga and Ashley were hugging earlier, they just got a little bit hurt.
But when Tanaga and Ashley got out of the car, she just realized that her seam on her stomach opened and was bleeding. Ashley was holding her stomach and slowing down the bleeding. "Ahhh!" she screamed because of the excruciating pain.
"Damn it! Hold on Ashley. Just wait and the ambulance will arrive, okay?" Tanaga was making her calm, still hugging her. Soon, she passed out.

When Ashley opened her eyes, she was baffled why she was in the hospital. When she remembered what happened, she was about to sit up only to find out she couldn't move her hand.
When she looked at it, she realized that Tanaga was holding it tightly. "Tan, Tan, my hand. It's getting numb," Ashley said calmly while trying to wake up her husband who was sleeping on the sofa he put beside her bed.
Tanaga was half-awake and he slowly opened his eyes. "You're awake? How do you feel?" Tanaga worriedly asked while caressing Ashley's hands.
"I'm kinda groggy but it's fine. My stomach also hurts but bearable."
"Are you hungry? You've been sleeping for a long time and saline and blood are the only things entering your body. Wait and I'll ask to reheat the congee Sato brought earlier." He was about to stand up, but Ashley stopped him.
"Not now, I don't feel hungry right now. Maybe later when I feel better. By the way, does my family know what happened to me?"
Tanaga just nodded and he didn't say anything. He almost had a feud with his brothers-in-law.
===
It had been two days since their accident. When they arrived at the hospital, Tanaga called Grandma Hanada and informed her what happened and where they were. Grandma Hanada was the one he called because he didn't know if his in-laws already knew he was still alive.
After a few moments after he talked to Grandma Hanada, Ashley's whole family arrived at the operating room where she again was seaming her stomach.
Because Mr. and Mrs. Gusman already knew that Tanaga was still alive and about his situation, they weren't shocked if he wouldn't recognize them. They just greeted him before sitting down and waiting for the results.
But it was another story for Arnold and Arnel; they were angry at the lies that were told to their sister. So, if Tiny and the other bodyguards of Tanaga didn't stop them, Tanaga might've been beaten to death.
Yet he couldn't blame Ashley's brothers, and he wouldn't stop them if they wanted him dead by their hands. He discovered that if she wasn't pregnant and he had an accident, she would've killed herself to be with him because of the thought of him never coming back again.
"Did you know how hard it was for our sister?!" Arnold shouted at Tanaga. "Did you know that she attempted to jump in the middle of the ocean? Thank God I saw that and stopped her. If not, her body would never be seen again! Never!"
When Mrs. Gusman heard this, she stood up and exclaimed, "What! Why didn't you tell this to us? When did this happen?" Mrs. Gusman suddenly became depressed because she didn't know that Ashley had attempted suicide. She had always thought that Ashley accepted Tanaga's death, but Arnold revealed that this wasn't actually the case.
Tanaga couldn't respond. He felt like his temples were about to explode because of his unbearable pain. While Arnel and Arnold wanted to dash towards him, Tiny stopped them before they could be near his boss.
So that they wouldn't have another dispute, Tanaga's two bodyguards stood up in front of him while Tiny and Mr. Gusman stopped the two.
After an hour, the operation had finished, and the doctor came out.
"Who's the family of the patient?" asked the doctor.
Tanaga stood up. "Me! I'm her husband." Then he approached the doctor.
"I'm her husband, how's my wife?" Tanaga asked, trembling. This was seen by everyone, and they couldn't help but pity Tanaga. Grandma Hanada especially didn't notice that tears fell from her eyes while looking at her grandson.
The doctor smiled and patted his shoulder. "Don't worry. Your wife is safe. Her seam just opened, that's why it bled, and she passed out because of her blood loss. But she's fine now and we'll be transferring her to another room." Everyone was relieved when they heard what he said.
When the doctor left, Tanaga finally let out a breath. But after a few moments, his eyes became dark and he passed out.
When they checked up on Tanaga and saw no bruises nor broken bones, he quickly stood up and removed the IV bag from his body. Grandma Hanada did not stop him because she knew where he was heading.
