Chapter 331 - The B*tch!!!!

Koji continued explaining his side of the story. "When I woke up, I had a feeling that something bad had happened to me the night before that morning. That's why I called the front desk and had a talk with the General Manager of the hotel. Unfortunately, it ended in naught as I didn't manage to acquire any information. So, I just let it go and proceeded here to make a report to you."

"Hahaha! Based on the video that Ohani presented a little earlier, she was the woman who slept with you last night. Be careful as she might force you to marry her when the time comes, especially that we aren't sure if she has another copy of the video where the face of the two of you can be seen." Tanaga warned Koji as he knew that Ohani would do anything she could just to obtain everything she wanted.

*Ding* The three heard a sound.

They all simultaneously look at their respective smartphones. It wasn't from Ashley's phone, and it wasn't Tanaga's either. When the two glanced at Koji, his eyes were glaring while he was watching something on his phone.

"THE B*TCH!!!" Koji suddenly flared up. "I'm sorry!" The couple stared at him.

Ever since Ashley had met Koji, this was the very first time he heard him curse. Tanaga too had never heard Koji say anything so out of character. Tanaga became impatient and asked Koji, "Is there a problem? I guess my fears were not unfounded and she had actually sent the video to blackmail you?" Tanaga worriedly asked before standing and tapping on Koji's shoulder.

"If you need my help to sort things out, don't hesitate to tell me. After all, we are family." Tanaga offered while still standing beside Koji, his hand resting on Koji's shoulder.

"Nah! I got this one, I myself will be enough to face this witch. Who is she scaring – me? Pfft! First of all, I have no girlfriend nor wife. Second, I have no treasures that she needs, and I especially can't help her in her career. It would be better if she sticks to my sibling and she can expect something from my Oka-san. Hahaha!" Koji faked his laugh, but the married couple ignored it.

Ashley decided to leave so that the two could talk about other businesses. She knew that Koji was there because he would be reporting about the situation of their business in Europe. Hence, Ashley stood up to excuse herself and left.

"I will just go to Sis C- I mean Mrs. Hoshi. I have something to ask her about. I will be leaving you two." Ashley at the same time tapped on Koji's shoulder while she was going out.

Ashley was surprised that after she had opened the door, Sato and Fumika were standing there. The two were averting their gazes because she caught the two eavesdroppings on what was happening inside the room.

"You two!" Ashley exclaimed while pointing her finger at the two.

"President Jones, we are sorry!" Fumika shyly declared while returning to her working place.

Sato smiled secretly. "M'dear! We were just making sure that they were going to do nothing wrong to you – like guardian angels!" He whispered to Ashley so that Fumika would not hear his gentle voice.

"All right! Come with me. We're going to the sales and purchasing department as I need to talk to Mrs. Hoshi. We will be attending an IMPA convention and I have no prior knowledge about it."

"IMPA convention? What's that?" Sato asked while following Ashley who was going to meet Mrs. Hoshi.

"Mr. Sato, if I knew, do you think I will be going to Mrs. Hoshi to ask?" Then she tapped Sato's head, causing his hairstyle to become a mess.

"Pres... I said not my hair. Anything but my hair, you know. It's my only asset. Hahaha!" Sato jokingly said while fixing his hair.

Ashley just shook her head and didn't speak again since they were now entering the office of the sales and purchasing department.

Everyone was busy when Ashley and Sato entered, and nobody noticed them. That's why Sato decided to broadcast their arrival. *Clap-clap-clap!*

"Ladies and gentlemen of the sales department… Hello!!!" Sato announced, which caused everyone to be surprised. All six of the employees quickly stood up so they could show respect to their president.

They were almost in sync with each other when they bowed simultaneously and greeted, "Good morning, President Jones."

"Good morning to everyone too!" Ashley greeted back before approaching Celia.

"Elder sister, are you free? The meeting room at five?" Ashley asked with her palm wide open in front of Celia.

"Good morning, Madam Ashley. Yes! Please wait. I will just finish my work and then I'll head there immediately," Celia smilingly replied. She was very happy that Ashley approached her and not the marketing department's manager.

"All right! We'll head there first and wait for you there." Ashley waved her hand like she was running for the presidency of the country, as a farewell to her employees. 

When Ashley and Sato finally left, the employees couldn't help but comment on their president's attitude.

Sales 1: "President Jones is so one of a kind – always smiling and so kind."

Sales 2: "You said it! You know if President Takeshi wasn't fired, I would have most probably resigned a long time ago."

"All right, enough of this chit-chat. If you guys are truly delighted and can appreciate our new president, show it through our sales – do you guys understand?" Celia advised her subordinates.

Ever since Celia was made into the manager of the sales and purchasing department, she had greatly changed, when it came to socializing with her colleagues at work. She had managed to build her confidence in herself and she now always smiled. Every single one of those is thanks to Ashley who had promoted her to her current position which she was profiting from…

A few moments later, the three started their meeting about the IMPA convention...
