Chapter 333 - I Don't Know And I Don't Care!

Ohani was speechless with what Tanaga and the officers just said. When she saw the officers were about to leave, she was about to squeal. But she was just shocked when the two officers stopped in front of her. 

"Miss Yamaguchi, you are under arrest for reporting a false allegation. Even if Mr. and Mrs. Jones don't file a case towards you, the city of Houston will file a case on behalf of them," one of the police officers declared, waiting for Ohani to stand up. 

"No! Why are you arresting me? What I said is not false! They're lying! They really hurt me!" Ohani still pushed her allegations. Koji stood up. He didn't speak, but Ohani became nervous. She knew that Koji had evidence which he could give to the officers.

She then stood up. "Officer, I'm willing to go with you. You don't need to listen to what he has to say." Then she left first before the police officers. 

Ohani was loud while strolling out of the room. When the police left, Sato followed and closed the door. 

"Oh God! Wasn't she born rich? Why does she act uneducated? And, where's your brother? If I am remembering correctly, he's the one handling her, so why is she here?" Ashley asked many things while looking back and forth at Tanaga and Koji. 

Koji was ready to leave. "Ma at pa!" That was all he answered before saying goodbye to the two. He was going to visit Grandma Hanada before going back to Japan.

The whole time, Tanaga was silent and holding Ashley's shoulder. As soon as Koji left, he pulled Ashley to the sofa and asked her what's bothering her.

"Why does Koji know 'ma at pa'? Did you tell him about that?" Tanaga questioned as jealousy was creeping into his body.

"No! Why would I tell that to him?" Ashley answered before standing up to start working. 

[T/N: 'Ma at pa' stands for 'malay ko at pake ko'. It is a Filipino phrase for 'I don't know and I don't care']

When Tanaga and Ashley went back home, they were shocked that there was a car parked in front of their house without their permission. She thought that Grandma Hanada might have a guest, so she just let it slide this time. 

Yet they were even more shocked when they entered the house to see Koji playing with their twins. "You two are so cute! Hahaha!" 

They vividly heard Koji while walking inside. 

Tanaga's face was so dark when they walked towards Koji. "Why are you still here? I thought you were just quickly visiting Grandma before you go back to Japan. Why are you still here?" Tanaga asked to Koji rudely. 

Koji suddenly stood up and gave respect to the two. "Good evening to the two of you. I apologize that I couldn't control myself when I discovered that your babies are twins. I just had to see them for myself," Koji explained. He couldn't look straight at the people in front of him. 

"What's the matter if he wants to play with his nephews? You're so selfish towards your sons. You should be proud and let the whole world know that you have two successors of the THJ group," Grandma Hanada scolded Tanaga as she was happy seeing Koji play with the kids. 

Ashley walked towards her sons and gave them a kiss on the cheeks. Then she kissed on Grandma Hanada's cheeks before going to the backyard to let her parents know that she's home.

Tanaga didn't say a word and just approached his kids. "No!!" Juanita, Inday and Grandma Hanada shouted in chorus to stop him.

Tanaga paused and stared bitterly at the three. "And why not?" he furiously asked to no one in particular. 

Juanita walked towards Tanaga to give him hand sanitizer. "I'm sorry sir! You came from outside and haven't washed your hands yet. Please sanitize first before holding the babies." 

Tanaga didn't speak; he just accepted the bottle of hand sanitizer before wiping his hands. After that, he carried one of his sons. He asked Koji to help him carry the other one. "Please carry the other one and give him to me." 

Tanaga sat first before readying to take his other kid. After Koji gave one of his nephews to him, he couldn't stop himself from looking at Tanaga on how he was so happy while carrying his babies. He was so envious, yet he couldn't do anything about his feelings. 

Koji decided to say goodbye before Ashley got back, so that Tanaga wouldn't get jealous at him. But Ashley did come back rather quickly, along with her parents. 

When Koji was about to say goodbye, Mr. Gusman invited him to stay. His entire body was paralyzed. 

"President Hanada, I would like to invite you to stay for dinner. Do you still remember my wife's delicious cooking?" Mr. Gusman invited him while he had a big smile on his lips. 

"Mr. and Mrs. Gusman, thank you so much for the invitation, but…" Koji didn't finish his sentence when Grandma Hanada spoke. 

"Koji, why don't you eat first before going back to Japan?" Grandma Hanada also invited him; Koji couldn't turn down the invitation now. 

Koji scratched his head like a teenager. "Well, if it is fine with CEO Jones, I'll agree then," he uttered while looking at Tanaga, who was busy playing with his sons. 

When Tanaga didn't answer, Ashley walked towards him and poked him. She whispered, "Hey, didn't you hear what President Hanada just said?" 

"Ma at pa!" Tanaga proclaimed and was heard by everyone.

Koji went back to his seat when he heard what Tanaga said. Grandma Hanada was puzzled and didn't understand Tanaga. She looked at Harumi to know if she understood, but Harumi just shook her head. 

Ashley noticed Grandma Hanada's gesture to Harumi, so she decided on explaining the meaning of it. "Grandma, it means, 'I don't know and I don't care. Basically, it's fine by him if Koji stays." Everyone's jaw dropped except for Ashley, Tanaga and Koji. 

Koji was so uncomfortable in his seat. Mr. Gusman noticed this and decided on bringing him to the swimming pool so that they could talk there. 

"President Hanada, how about I show you our garden and backyard while we're still waiting for dinner to be cooked?" Father Jessie suggested.

Koji quickly stood up. "Grandma, excuse me for a while!" Then he looked at Ashley and Tanaga before following Mr. Gusman outside. 

When the door to the backyard opened, everyone heard the music behind it. The song that was playing intentionally hit Koji.
