Chapter 340 - Now, I Can Sleep Peacefully...

Tanaga secretly smiled from what he heard. He couldn't believe that his grandma spoke lewdly. However, when Ashley let go of the older woman's embrace. He quickly removed any sign of the wicked smile that was plastered on his face a while ago. Therefore, Ashley was not able to see and didn't suspect anything.

"Grandma, we're going to eat first if you don't mind. My stomach is growling from hunger." Said Ashley as she walked towards her husband.

The breakfast of the two was already prepared in the dining room. Butler Ruffy was waiting for them with a smile on his lips. 

"Good morning Sir Jones and Madam Ashley. I heard you had a walk with the twins earlier, how was it?" the Butler greeted them. 

"Good morning to you too," Ashley greeted him back while Tanaga was pulling a chair for her. 

"Hmm." That was just Tanaga's response to Ruffy before he sat on the head table, ready to eat. 

As soon as Tanaga sat, he started serving Ashley. He put fried rice, sunny-side-up egg, and a slice of ham on her plate. Ruffy, on the other hand, poured orange juice into Ashley's and Tanaga's glass. After that, he left the two alone. 

They were peacefully eating and Tanaga pampered Ashley. They didn't notice that everyone was keeping an eye on them and were so happy at what they were seeing. 

"Their sweetness to each other has now come back. I can now sleep peacefully. I don't see a reason for them to fall apart," Inday whispered to Mrs. Gusman, who was also watching from behind.

"Right. Even my husband and I couldn't sleep peacefully worrying that one day they would separate," Mrs. Gusman said, crying while saying those words. 

She was wiping her tears, and they didn't notice that Mr. Gusman was just behind them. He faked a cough to get their attention. "The food you're cooking might get burned. Let them have their honeymoon again. It has been a long time, after all," Mr. Gusman chuckled after saying those words before holding his wife's shoulders and turning them around. Then he pushed her slowly towards the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Koji's lawyers were inside the office of the chief of the police, waiting for his arrival. They didn't know what happened to Koji, so the lawyer and police chief's eyes widened when they saw a bandage around Koji's head. 

"What the – what the heck happened? Who the hell did this?" the police chief furiously asked the two officers with Koji. 

The two officers didn't respond, and they were looking at the ground, waiting for punishment by their chief. 

THJ Group lawyers started speaking in Japanese to each other while Koji was sitting on the sofa, still dizzy due to heavy blood loss.

"President Hanada, what happened? How do you feel? It is better if you are taken to the hospital now. My colleagues will handle this here. I'll accompany you to the hospital now, as it seems that a lot of blood has been lost from your body."

Koji didn't hesitate, and the two lawyers helped him stand up and ushered him outside the precinct. At the same time, the other three lawyers of the THJ Group stayed. 

The police chief was visibly nervous. The pen he was holding was continually tapping the chair he was in. 

The police chief didn't stop Koji from leaving. First of all, the evidence that strengthened the case that was filed on him was just a false accusation. Second of all, the officers that were in charge displayed police brutality to him. Lastly, he's the president of a large company and has a strong relationship with the President of their country. 

"Why are you still standing here? Leave before the mayor comes here and fires you without hesitation!" the police chief shouted to the two junior officers. 

The police leader that arrested Koji was currently suspended and under leave without pay. If it is proved that he really did some police brutality, he would also be fired; that's why he immediately apologized. 

"I apologize for what has happened, and I assure you that we will handle this matter." The police chief couldn't look straight at the lawyers of the THJ Group. 

"It's fine, and we will inform President Hanada. For now, fix what happened to President Hanada because if not, you might get fired," one of the lawyers declared with authority while taking out papers to file a case that the person asked Koji to be arrested.

Meanwhile, Sato, Fumika and the Hoshis arrived at the Jones' residence and parked their cars in front of the gate. 

When the Hoshi's got out of their car, Celia couldn't stop herself from being mesmerized by the massive house. Because they were on the way to Ashley's house, she already saw many big houses. But when they got to Ashley and Tanaga's, their eyeballs almost came out of their sockets. 

Celia suddenly held her husband's arm. "Dear, we've reached, right? This is a mansion! How many maids do they have here? It would be hard cleaning a house this big!" Celia's eyes were fixed wide open. 

Hoshi just smiled at what his wife said. He knew she was amused and envious as even he couldn't stop gazing at how beautiful and big the house of their boss is. 

They were currently walking towards the door when they heard a scream. 

"OHH MY GOSH!!" Sato screamed while holding Fumika's arm.

Fumika just smiled because Sato couldn't stop himself and revealed his true colors. 

Sato and Fumika decided on sharing a car – Sato's car. All of Ashley's employees from Japan let them use a car from the company so that they wouldn't have a hard time going to work. Naturally, Sato and Fumika were delighted to hear that news because, in Japan, they didn't have a vehicle. 

The Hoshi's stared at each other when they heard Sato's scream. Hoshi's eyebrow rose as he didn't know that Sato was gay. Soon, his confusion faded into a cheerful smile forming on his lips. He greeted the two who were approaching them. 

"Good morning!" Hoshi greeted the two, followed by Celia's greeting. 

"Good morning to you too!" Sato chuckled. "We have the privilege to go to our bosses' house!" Sato proudly proclaimed while his eyes were sparkling. 

"Good morning to you too!" Fumika greeted, then bowed down to give respect to the couple. The couple bowed back and smiled at the shy secretary of Ashley. 

While they were happily greeting each other, the door in front of them opened and revealed Butler Ruffy to welcome the guest. 

"Welcome! Come in! I am Butler Ruffy, how are all of you?" He then offered his hand for a handshake. 

They shook hands one by one and greeted Ruffy while bowing their heads. After that, they all entered the house.
