Chapter 524: Instant Death!

Name:The Black Necromancer Author:

Nedra's form hung in the sky, attracting the gazes of many. Everyone could feel the powerful aura that emanated from her, almost equal to, but falling short of the true might of a Major God.

Ever since Leon had gone into seclusion, she had been a bit more active. Only Kaladin knew that she was around, and that was after the spar between the six summons. He had kept silent about her presence, as she had asked him to.

Nedra's red eyes gazed coldly at the enemies before her. She felt angry that the world she had called her home for decades was being attacked. She did not like the Gods that had oppressed their world for so long, but she would do her part in protecting what she called home. She would protect what her children called home.

"My children. Come, fight by your mother." Nedra's tone was ethereal as she spoke. She spread out her arms and her eyes turned red with power while the rest of her body glowed with white light.

From that white light, hundreds of white silhouettes dashed out, surrounding Nedra in different poses and ways. Some of them held weapons while others did not.

When the white light around Nedra died down, the silhouettes also became clear, revealing hundreds of white haired beings. Each and every one of them resembled the White Millipedes, but none of them were. They were actually manifestations of Nedra's Divine Power.

It was similar to her clone ability from when she was a mortal, but now, it had been boosted to absurd levels when paired with her Divine Power.

With each manifestation bearing the power of a peak strength celestial creature, the force that she was able to wield could be said to have neared the realm of Major Gods!

However, such a frightening figure had been killed so swiftly!

"What is the meaning of this?! Is this a stagnant world? Why are we attacking a world with such powerful and talented warriors?!" One of the Gods who had been rather unsatisfied for some time protested.

While the minor ranks and fodder were loyal to a fault, down to the point of not even having true independent thoughts of their own, the Gods were different. They were loyal to the Army of Destruction, but that did not mean that they did not have independent thoughts of their own. They could show their dissatisfaction and irritation without any problems.

When they saw how easily Nedra had dealt with the assassination God, they were intimidated. As for Kaladin dealing with their strongest, that was a different matter, as he had not come out unscathed at all. He was already nearly defeated.

However, Nedra had just come and easily dealt with the second strongest in one swift move, not even leaving him a chance for retaliation!

Too ruthless!

While they were angry and dissatisfied, none of them actually dared to turn and flee. The rules that bound the soldiers of the Army of Destruction strictly made it clear that desertion was a death sentence. And worst of all, it was not an instant death. Whoever was marked for death would suffer for centuries before finally being given the chance to die.

They would die in shame and disgrace, with nothing to their names. It was not what they wished. They would rather die in battle than to go out that other way.

Several Gods on the defending side turned their attention away from the army they were dealing with and turned to Nedra. They could spot a petite, cute figure sitting on the head of the giant millipede with a sweet smile on her face. But none of them found her sweet. Instead, they found her to be extremely intimidating and fearsome!
