Chapter 145 - 145 I'll Use You

Yun Xixi only looked at Assistant Yu silently but her eyes seemed to talk to a lot. Her unwavering gaze made him uneasy which made him awkwardly put down his hand to his side before shoving it into his pockets. He acted so languidly as he ignored her stare and leaned on the wall. 

"There's really no need for you to worry too much. That doctor is the family's doctor for years. He is capable." All the people beside the young master are capable people. If they deemed to be useless and can't perform as what their young master had expected, then he would not accept you and will be assigned another task. Just that they will never be able to work under the young master anymore. 

Assistant Yu loosened his tie and then run his fingers through his hair. He eyes seemed unfocused and dark. His emotions unreadable. 

Yun Xixi looked at the tightly closed door. Seeing that she really can't do anything about it, she defeatedly sighed and leaned on the wall next to Assistant Yu. She looked sideways at Assistant Yu before lowering her head. 

To think that she would get to be with this good-looking guy. She's so close with him! Yun Xixi's heart was jumping giddily in her chest. She tried to calm herself as she told herself firmly that this was not the time to be giddy, her boss was still unwell. 

Inside the room, a heavy atmosphere hovered over the heads of the people. 

With three outstanding people inside the room that have their own unique temperaments, it was not good at all.

Poor doctor, he has to tend to the patient with not only one but three pairs of hawk-like eyes that were burning a hole in his head He gulped loudly as he started to examine his patient with cold and shaky hands. He knew that this was not good. He has to loosen up. 

With that, he gritted his teeth as he summoned all of his resolve in withstanding the oppressive auras that the three people were giving off. He ignored their dark and ominous eyes to make himself more focused. 

"I'll take care of everything." Lexus muttered after so long of silence. His eyes never left the body of the woman on their bed. His fists balled till it turn to blue and white. For them to make his, Lexus Song's, wife experience something like this and had endangered their child, they should be prepared to the consequences. 

"What are you saying, boy?" Grandpa He asked threateningly with his eyes squinting. He heard what Lexus said and understood what he meant about taking care about everything. Unfortunately, he was not a person who would back down and let other people avenge for the grievances experienced by his precious granddaughter.

Grandpa He did not waver as his eyes, too, did not leave the body of October. He was a little dspleased by what Lexus had said. No matter, he was the grandfather so he has the responsibility to do this much.

"Son, if you want revenge, we can help you vent." Mother Song said with a sweet smile on her face. She looked even more stunning with this. Even so, her smile did not reach her eyes. They were instead filled with coldness that can shudder and frost people right into their bones. It was that scary.

Lexus looked at his mother's dark smile but did not give it much thought as he also dismissed her.

"No. I'll take care of them." 

"You brat, don't get too cocky! I am her grandfather so protecting her is my duty." Grandpa He glared at Lexus' cold face. If not because of this bastard, his granddaughter would have still at his side. 

Yes, he admit that he wished for October to marry andd give him great grandchildren. But...BUT! Just after he said that, it really did happen! That's why, he regretted wishing it! 

"Stupid son! How can you be selfish?" Mother Song's smile froze up as her cold piercing eyes glared at lexus as well.

Lexus ignored their glared filled with sharp daggers. He did not even flinch at the oppressive aura that Grandpa He released toward Lexus. 

But who was Lexus?

Lexus was not a man that will ever get intimidated by anyone, even if the one he is opposing is his grandfather-in-law.

After a moment of silence, Lexus finally opened his mouth only to say something that made Grandpa He and Mother Song speechless and angry.

"She already married me. In other words, she is basically mine now. If in terms of protection, I can do that and will thoroughly deal with it immediately, since I am not someone who will only stay silent and stood on the side while seeing my loved one getting bullied."

When Grandpa He heard this, he almost vomitted blood. He knew that Lexus was merciless and just outright ruthless. However, having to experience it first one was really something he could not withstand.

Lexus' words were full of thorns in them and it pierced through on Grandpa He's heart. Of course, he did not mention any name but the one he was saying this to had already choked in anger. 

"You..you--!" Grandpa He pointed his finger angrily at Lexus. He knew that he had made a mistake but does this brat even have to rub salt on his wound? This brat is too arrogant! 

"I did not say that you are not included. Of course, I will use you..." Lexus said with cold voice. He appeared confident while saying that. If his words were not that infuriating, then Grandpa He would probably be so willing to lend him a hand.

Grandpa He gritted his teeth as his eyes turned ferocious. He seemed like he was about to pounce on Lexus and bit his head off. If he were younger like Lexus, then he would have already beatem the kid.

Mother Song sighed at how domineering her son was, even making Master He so angry that his old face turned tomato red...old tomato was more like it.

"I'm really sorry about my son, Master He. He had always been an unruly child since young. I really don't know where he got this attitude from." Mother Song said apologetically at Grandpa He as she scolded Lexus in her head a thousand times. 

"Lexus, don't forget that he is October's grandfather. Mind your words." 

Lexus did not bother with Grandpa He and Mother Song anymore. He had already decided to block off their voices as his whole attention was on the still sleeping October on the bed.
