Chapter 16.1 - The Sixteenth Night Part 1
The Sixteenth Night Part 1
The sudden kiss was an unexpected action for both Joyce and Sean.
Sean, who had just kissed the kitty, and the kitty, who suddenly became a vampire, were both in shock. Time seemed to have stopped there. It was only the occasional swaying shadows of trees outside the windows that proved that this moment was not at a standstill.
Outside the window, the piercing caws of the sleepless crows brought Joyce back to her senses.
There was a doubtful blush rising on her face.
Sean kissed me?!
Sean kissed me!!!
But why did Sean kiss me?!
As countless thoughts coursed through her mind, Sean seemed to have finally collected himself. His little peck left him slightly flustered, and he wanted to create some distance between her and himself.
But who knew that Joyce would suddenly put her hands to his head. Sean stiffened and eyes were filled with surprise as she held his head closer this kiss was firmly placed on her forehead.
You kissed me!
*:.:*:*: . :*:.:*
As if she was afraid he would deny his actions, she shouted excitedly, refusing to let go of the definite evidence.
Sean clumsily pushed her away and took a few steps back to get away from her.
Joyce covered the place he had just kissed in surprise and looked at him, her eyes sparkling. You just kissed me.
No. Sean was so stiff that he could not look away.
Joyce caught a glance at the barely visible blush on his face and curiously leaned closer to examine the unnatural hue of pink on his face. Oh, little knight, you are blushing, right?
yeah.
Then what do you think counts?
A-at least
Sean stuttered as he spoke but suddenly froze in the middle.
Because
Joyce stood on her tiptoes and landed a kiss on his lips.
The kiss was like a spell, Sean was rooted in place.
The morning was full of dew, the sun was rising and the area carried an earthy scent. His gaze was fixed on the face close to his for a long time, and his breath and heartbeat seemed to have stilled at the same time.
Joyces heart was beating like a drum.
Well it was the first time she kissed someone. She did it recklessly, and when she realized it, she quickly increased her distance from him.
How about this? Even though her heart was beating fast, Joyce held her chin up calmly and said, I will be responsible for you.
Something like this did not make much of a difference to Joyce, but she still felt a little embarrassed when she said it.
Sean did not answer, and when Joyce was about to ask again, she saw him rushing out of the corridor with a red face. He left her standing there alone.
It was not until she came back to reality and looked in Seans direction that she saw there was no one left. She scratched her head skeptically. No way how can he be so shy? I havent even
Joyce did not finish murmuring. The sensation on her lips that she had noticed before from the forced kiss had come back. Joyces face was instatnly covered with a crimson glow.
Her fingers touched the place where the kiss was made, and the blush on her cheeks spread to the tips of her ears.
She looked around and quickly ran into a room as she covered her burning face.
