Chapter 811: Chapter 809-Critical Attacks.

I could see that Zora isn't used to all these emotions hitting her, and it's something that I have come to see and pick in the eyes of the several witches, they seemingly having given up on this situation of love, tend to find it very hard to deal with it when they find it, and it's very cute to watch them try to deal with those emotions and me.

All the witches are those sort of realistic scientists, the ones that think love is just some kind of biological reaction, and it doesn't have much of a standing in affecting everything else. Well, there are a bit of lofty feelings to it, but in the end, these witches are the calm kind, dealing with things with a rationale and cold mind. Take that away, you get mature older women acting like cute little teenagers.

"I'm fine, it's just some after effects from an experiment I was doing."

Zora directly replied, hiding her emotions and reasons for the moment. Plus, she needs some kind of proof to even show me that she likes me. After all, with the known fact that witches can't have love and even children, it's not a small issue of her just coming and saying to me that she likes me. After all, how can I even believe it?

Even then, what's really holding Zora back is the fact that she does not know how to deal with it all, and she seemingly needs some more time to get fixed on her emotions and the path she wants to take. A lot of things need to be considered by Zora if she is to even think about a relationship, much less one with me.

"If that's the case, then okay, but you better take care of your body well, got it?"

My final words were added with a more stern warning to it, which Zora shyly nodded her head. She kept her hat on her head as she tried to change the topic.

"What's with the sudden meeting?"

"Just wanted to get everyone together and talk about some future steps, especially now that a lot of the students are rattled."

My words made Zora nod her head as she traced her eyes around the room, seemingly too embarrassed or some other kind of emotion to make eye contact and thus acting very awkward, Zora asked:

"So, if we are going to meet soon, why did you come here?"

She asked with a bit more pressure on the words than she intended, no doubt, and Zora caught it quickly. Her eyes traced to my face to see my expression, but I still kept my quite gentle smile as I replied:

"I am here to give you the day you asked me, don't you remember? Didn't you want to spend a day with me?"

I teased in the end, my words taking it such that I didn't think anything much of it. If it was any other girl, everyone else would think of it as a date or Zora taking the chance to seduce me, but everyone that she's a witch and even Zora would know it would maybe be something about her experiments or some funding 'cause that's the only two reasons that Zora moved.

And I showed those thoughts in my body language, too, seemingly showing off the fact that I don't think much of the trip between the two of us even though I was teasing Zora about it, and it was quite fun to see the expression of Zora changing from everything.

First, the confusion about what I was saying was quickly replaced by understanding, and then it turned into one of excitement and a little bit of shyness at my teasing. But my body language of taking it as fun and not even seeing her as the opposite sex seemingly irked her as her expression turned into one of a frown.

'Looks like the spell I gave is changing everything for the better.'

As I thought so, Zora replied in a pouty mood:

"Yeah....yeah, I remember. It's just that I have been so busy with it all that I almost forgot about it."

Her words seemingly trying to match with mine, a small, quiet kind of revenge to show that she wasn't invested in it too. Seeing such actions from someone older than me and someone who is always calm and rational, it only made me smile internally, but outward, I kept an understanding look as I replied:

"Oh....does that mean it's not something important? Then do you not need the time?"

My reply no doubt caught Zora off guard as she flinched, she going forth to hold over her skirt as Zora, shaking her head, replied:

"It is important, alright. The study I want to do is...you."

Her words made me 'surprised' as I leaned in a bit to look more seriously at Zora with a raised eyebrow.

"Me?"

I asked with a raised tone, curiosity in it, as Zora, seemingly having gained a brilliant idea, started to speak.

"Unlovable."

"Ugh!"

The last words did it as Zora, holding her heart, fell from her chair, seemingly having a despair-looking face after hearing all those words from my mouth. She looked at me with a pleading gaze as Zora held her heart, and through it all, Zora couldn't say a single word as she

had indeed lost herself in her desires.

"I-It was a mi-mistake."

Zora begged, seemingly not ready for the final killer words.

"Ugly-hearted."

"Ahh...."

It was a silent critical attack as Zora closed her eyes, the pain from the words being too much.

These cute sides of hers made me chuckle, my chuckle finally filling the room as Zora, lying on the floor, opened a single eye of hers and looked at me, waiting to see if I was angry or not. But only my laughs lay as Zora, like a dead fish, kept looking at me with a single eye.

"Fine....fine, get up, I forgive you."

I finally spoke after a good laugh, this bringing life back to Zora as she sprung up from the floor, a victorious smile on her face as she did so.

"All our other friends would have their jaws drop if they saw you acting like this."

I spoke, helping Zora to stand up as she dusted herself, these unique sides of hers coming from the big sis Zora, who took care of her two younger siblings.

"Well, you are the only one that has seen this. After all, I have only shown this side of myself

to you."

A more suppressed feeling lingered in Zora's words, but in the end, all it carried was gratitude and the now-blooming love she held for me. Her words were also aimed at persuading me to

agree.

I looked at Zora with a helpless smile as I spoke.

"Fine... fine, you can tag along."

"Yes!"

Zora exclaimed, the syringe and razor somehow finding their way back into her hand.

[I wonder, would she turn into one of those crazy types who talk about cutting you into pieces

and keeping them in a laboratory when she goes yandere?]

'Shut up.'

I felt a chill run up my spine from those words, an eerie sensation as if there were some

hidden truth behind them.
